Poedit setup

Poedit needs to be setup properly in order to translate the right strings.

    Make sure that you have created and saved your .po file (or is created already)
    Select Catalog > Properties
    In the Translation properties enter the name of your project into Project name and version
    You should have selected your language already
    Select UTF-8 for both Charset and Source code charset
    Switch to Source paths tab
    In the Base path enter ../..
    In the Paths click New item icon and enter ../.. again
    Switch to Source keywords tab
    Click again on New item icon and enter __ (it's two underscores characters)
    Click OK
    Now click on Update and you should see the list of all translatable strings from source PHP files
    Setup the Poedit so it can translate the source .php files
