First of all, thanks for yesterday evening - the barcrawl was a lot of fun and I'd think it'd be awesome if we had more social events in CS!

I'm a first year comp sci student, current social sec of Hacksoc, I was wondering if you'd be interested in helping arrange some social events such as barcrawls for HackSoc.

I understand that Hacksoc is generally seen by the student body as an elitist and strictly academic society but that's really not what we're going for. A majority of our events are actually of a social nature but perhaps they do not appeal to the majority of students, so I'd like to broaden the range of events.

I haven't got much experience in organizing these kinds events but I'd be really up for making more of them happen, so if you'd be interested then let me know and we can sort something out as I'd really appreciate your expertise and advice on this issue.
