[22:09]	`GM	Initiated covertly in 2013, and attracting the brightest minds in the genetic and technological sciences, the MAIDS is a network of 40 genetically and physically-modified female agents, spread throughout the highest levels of the modern world. Engineered from birth, these women possess abilities that push the definition of “human” to its limits.

[22:20]	`GM	[Continue zooming. A large business/manufacturing complex well away from major cities. Two airstrips and various hangars are visible. The complex appears fenced and well-guarded.]
[22:23]	`GM	[Zoom into the main building. A relatively plain office facility. A deliveryman walks up to a receptionist.]
[22:31]	Karan	sits behind the desk, clad in standard navy business wear. She addresses the man curtly.
[22:31]	Karan	"Hello. May I help you?"
[22:32]	Deliveryman	"Ahh, hi, morning. Got a truck in the back, special order. Need C.E.O. signature I was told."
[22:33] Deliveryman	"Is he in?"
[22:34] Deliveryman	fiddles with his signing clipboard. The receptionist is quite pretty.
[22:35]	Deliveryman	looks around to the side of her, at the closed office door he assumes is the C.E.O.'s.
[22:36]	Karan	"Miss Darvill is not currently available," she says, tossing in a little sass.
[22:36]	Karan	"However, I can hold that package until she is ready."
[22:38]	Deliveryman	"Oh, Miss? Sorry, sorry. And, it's, uhh, it's not something YOU could HOLD. Six pallets; they told me it was next-day-air rush delivery."
[22:38]	Deliveryman	is rather put off his game now.
[22:39]	Deliveryman	"I just need a signature, ma'am. Ten seconds?"
[22:42]	Karan	eyes him closely, for a moment slightly too long. Then, she speaks.
[22:43]	Karan	"What company, and what are the contents?"
[22:43]	Karan	She idly lays a hand upon the intercom button.
[22:44]	`GM	[That self-same intercom chips on from the other side.]
[22:45]	BigSis	"Miss Balcora. In here. NOW."
[22:47]	Karan	A trained eye could notice the surprised jerk of her hand, but she does her best to mask it.
[22:47]	Karan	"Understood. Right away."
[22:48]	Karan	She rises and turns to the door.
[22:48]	Deliveryman	"No, it's okay, I'll wait."
[22:48]	Deliveryman	sighs. He's used to this...
[22:48]	Karan	"Thank you."
[22:48]	Deliveryman	takes a seat. It's a very nice seat, aqua and squishy.
[22:49]	Karan	She just as soon crosses the doorway.
[22:50]	`GM	[The office is spatially similar to most executive offices, with rows of bookshelves on the sides, large picture windows in the back next to the main desk, and a ring of couches and coffee tables in the center.]
[22:53]	`GM	[Spatially, it is very similar. Visually it's a train wreck. None of the couches match; one of them looks like it was picked up from a street curb. The bookshelves are strewn with disconcerting artifacts, pockets of eclectic taste, or just flat out garbage. One is dedicated to action figures, another ten-foot section is completely pink and lacey.]
[22:54]	`GM	[Don't look too hard at the rug. Seriously, just don't. It will only confuse you, and possibly make you question your religion. If you don't have a religion, you might think about getting one instead.]
[22:56] `GM	[Three women are seated around the coffee table, which is a giant ceramic coffee mug with a glass top.]
[22:57]	`GM	[They seem to be doing something with a pile of index cards...?]
[23:08]	Karan	"... Miss D?"
[23:08]	Karan	She withholds her reaction to the card game. Is that what this meeting was?
[23:09]	Agamedes	appears to be a young girl, with a ragged unkempt hair, but casually dressed business attire. A white, buttoned up shirt, with a dark tie, with an equally dark pair of tight pants, showing off her jailbaity goodness. The girl may be small but she is still a woman none the less. Though her expression appeared deadpanned, her words weren't quite so much.
[23:09]	Agamedes	This is a terrible game, I hate it. Why are we playing this.
[23:09]	Meredith	is a very short young woman, who only reaches 5' tall through the bunny ears over her silver hair. She wears a pair of sunglasses, even though she's inside, and has on a long rose coat and dress. Her sleeves are not quite long enough to hide the scars heading up her arms. She is looking intently at several images on he monitors.
[23:14]	BigSis	is a professional-looking woman, certainly an adult though age is hard to pin down; somewhere between 30 and 45. Her blonde hair is tied in a tight bun and wears thin-rimmed glasses (why would you do such a thing it’s 2035 do the laser surgery). She’s dressed in a slick black pantsuit and appears very focused. She turns to the newcomer in the room.
[23:16]	BigSis	"Balcora, NEITHER of these kids have ever played Five-Card Stud. Tell me you've played Five-Card Stud."
[23:17]	Agamedes	At what point in my life in my life did I ever consider taking up learning Five Card Stud.
[23:17]	Agamedes	again spoken in a dead tone, indicating her full enthusiasm of the whole even opening in front of them.
[23:18]	BigSis	spins around and glares at Medes.
[23:18]	BigSis	"You don't CONSIDER playing Five-Card Stud, you just PLAY IT."
[23:19]	BigSis	"Someone is bored and brings out a deck of cards. 'Oh, let's play poker!'."
[23:20]	Agamedes	Poker is a falliable game of chances that can be gamed by any monkey worth their salt in water. Also, usually monetary bills are involved, which I have none of.
[23:22]	BigSis	slaps her lightly, smirking.
[23:22]	BigSis	"You spent your allowance ALREADY~?"
[23:23]	Karan	At a towering six foot two, Karan is well put together, but also lankier than most - being longer in some places, and flatter in others. Her dark skin mirrors a possibly native american descent, but whatever it is, it is mixed. She wears a professional navy blue blazer over a button-up shirt, and keeps her hair cropped short in a style not entirely dissimilar from Jenna's.
[23:24]	Agamedes	nods, letting a stray lock of hair waving ever so slightly.
[23:25]	Agamedes	You bet. Imagine trying to steal a popstar and not getting away because you ran out of gas, because you thought 2 gallons would get you through this.
[23:25]	Karan	"I... May have played this before? Regardless, a man wants your signature. It will only take a moment."
[23:26]	Karan	dodges as much of the conversation as possible, focusing on the business at hand. She can't do so entirely, however. Jenna is looking nice today, or so she thinks.
[23:26]	Agamedes	Be aware, oooooh. The paper might burst into flames. Then soon the man afterwards.
[23:26]	BigSis	pinches Medes' cheek and wiggles it.
[23:27]	BigSis	"Ohh, so cute, trying to blow your cover like that. I thought I beat that streak out of you by now."
[23:27]	BigSis	"We'll just have to try harder, won't we~?"
[23:28]	BigSis	stares into Agamedes' SOUL. It's not at full power because the glasses are on.
[23:29]	BigSis	uses her other hand to point at the open couch seat next to her.
[23:30]	Meredith	"So what is he delivering?"
[23:30]	BigSis	"Cora, down, now. Here."
[23:30]	Agamedes	But I have no such powers, just playing hopscotch with a perpetually moving flaming metal chain used as ropes.
[23:31]	BigSis	sighs bemusedly.
[23:31]	Karan	looks between the door and the seat.
[23:32]	Karan	"... I can play one round, at least..."
[23:32]	BigSis	"Hopscotch and Jump-Rope together. So pressed for time..."
[23:33]	BigSis	"You'll play SEVERAL, Cora, now SIT!"
[23:34]	Karan	walks over and sits down next to Jenna, smoothing her skirt as she does so.
[23:34]	Meredith	heads over as well. When Big Sis was like this, there was no use arguing.
[23:34]	Karan	"... Alright."
[23:34]	BigSis	"If he needs my signature he'll break down the door, or a bean counter will telling me how to run my business before I fire him."
[23:34]	Agamedes	...I forget sis. Do we own a cobra? I want one now.
[23:35]	BigSis	shuffles the cards and deals five out to each, quickly explaining the rules and the card combinations.
[23:35]	Karan	can't help but crack a rare smile, if only briefly. She feels sorry for the deliveryman -truly- but...
[23:36]	Meredith	"That might be a problem. Last time the contractors were here, for the third time this month, I had them put in reinforced titanium alloy doors."
[23:37]	Meredith	"Though to be honest, one of the newer guys guaranteed that they were unbreakable while out of his boss's earshot. I kind of want to see how they'd react."
[23:37]	BigSis	"A cobra...? Now Medes, don't you remember what happened the LAST time you wanted a pet?"
[23:38]	Agamedes	Yeah it bit the deliveryman. He was doing a dance, then stopped.
[23:38]	Agamedes	stops for a moment then continues.
[23:39]	Agamedes	Oh right, that was the pet, the deliveryman was in pain but alright. He stopped giving me candy though.
[23:40]	Karan	studies her cards, with the occasional glance sideways.
[23:41]	Agamedes	..also I'm going to give the Cobra.....wait for it.
[23:41]	Agamedes	looks at Karan.
[23:41]	Agamedes	Kora.
[23:41]	Agamedes	Kora, Cobra. Cobra?.. Kora.
[23:42]	Meredith	looks at her cards.
[23:43]	Karan	"I'm not snake food," she remarks.
[23:44]	Agamedes	Now say it 8.9 times as fast.
[23:46]	Karan	"You first."
[23:46]	BigSis	folds her hand on the table.
[23:46]	BigSis	"Snake eyes."
[23:47]	Meredith	"Apropos."
[23:49]	Agamedes	See? I told you snakes are wholly appropriate, oh... right, where did the delivery guy go off to?
[23:50]	Karan	"He should still be out there, waiting."
[23:50]	Meredith	"So who's next?"
[23:52]	Agamedes	mmmm... Oh. I lost already, so I'll go sign stuff. Is that ok?
[23:53]	BigSis	"No. Sit."
[23:53]	BigSis	shoves Medes back down in her seat.
[23:53]	Agamedes	frowns a frown. A frown's frown.
[23:53]	Karan	frowns at her hand. That did not work so well...
[23:53]	Agamedes	Kay.
[23:54]	Meredith	"Anyways, I think you should all fold."
[23:55]	Karan	does so. It's not even a pair.
[23:55]	Karan	"Fold..."
[23:56]	Agamedes	claps with her feet.
[23:56]	Agamedes	Folded.
[23:56]	Meredith	smiles, and reveals her hand.
[23:57]	Agamedes	....soo... somehow... in roughly 3 million chances, you somehow landed on the almighty royal toilet flush of all cards to end cards.
[23:57]	Agamedes	Wonderful.
[23:58]	Meredith	"It could have been better. This is only a royal club flush."
[23:58]	Meredith	"If one of you had had diamonds, hearts, or spades, you would have beaten it."
[23:58]	BigSis	pats Meredith on the head.
[23:58]	BigSis	"Excellent perspective, Merry."
[23:59]	Agamedes	Who's getting married?
[23:59]	Agamedes	looks around.
[00:00]	Karan	"You and your snake, maybe?"
[00:00]	BigSis	"All right, street rules. One article of clothing each~"
[00:01]	BigSis	takes off her glasses. It counts!
[00:01]	Meredith	"What street do they play that on, the Las Vegas strip?"
[00:01]	Karan	looks between the others, her sass suddenly gone.
[00:01]	Karan	"... Can't we just play for chips?"
[00:02]	BigSis	"Definitely the 'strip'."
[00:02]	Agamedes	I am hungry... someone has chips?
[00:03]	BigSis	looks firmly at Karan.
[00:03]	BigSis	"You want to be a real woman, don't you?"
[00:04]	Agamedes	Well... I do have several toys in my closet.
[00:04]	Karan	looks at Big Sis and removes one shoe.
[00:04]	Agamedes	Should we all take off something?
[00:05]	BigSis	"You lost, didn't you~"
[00:06]	Agamedes	..mm.. okay. Going all out then.
[00:07]	Agamedes	with a faint nod and unbutton behind the shirt with the help of her chains, she bears her chest, revealing a cheap brassaire.
[00:08]	BigSis	frowns at the cheapness!
[00:09]	BigSis	"I don't pay you to wear Wal-Mart trash, kid."
[00:09]	Karan	frowns for a different reason.
[00:09]	BigSis	"What do you THINK I'm paying you for?"
[00:09]	Agamedes	Ok fat for chest. Try to appeal to the people who make them to make fashionable bras for flat chested girls.
[00:10]	Karan	"Already?"
[00:11]	Karan	casually averts her eyes.
[00:11]	Meredith	"You know, you do have other things you could have removed."
[00:12]	Agamedes	Oh, getting married soon person, I wasn't aware there were procedures now concerning the removal of clothings during a male centric erotic fest.
[00:14]	BigSis	pinches Medes' bra and pulls her closer.
[00:15]	Karan	. o O ( Jeez, what even is this... )
[00:15]	BigSis	"I'll buy you some myself, then. Okay?"
[00:15]	BigSis	"Looks like I'm going to have to teach you where to shop."
[00:16]	Meredith	"We could all go, make it an expedition."
[00:17]	BigSis	flicks her eyes over, sizing Meredith up.
[00:17]	BigSis	"Mmm, yeah, I'd say you're about the same size."
[00:18]	BigSis	looks over to Karan. WHAT'S THE MATTER, KARAN~?
[00:18]	Agamedes	Oh, are we lusting for each other now? Perfect.
[00:19]	BigSis	"Think of all the time we'll save shopping for one size, right Karan?"
[00:19]	Karan	folds her arms over her own modest chest.
[00:19]	Karan	"Do we really need to save with our salaries? And were we going to play another hand or not?"
[00:20]	Karan	avoids Jenna's piercing gaze.
[00:23]	Agamedes	Oh.. I'd use my hands to play with myself if I had some.
[00:23]	Agamedes	shrugs.
[00:25]	`GM	[As the women reshuffle and deal a new head, Karan's acute senses notice the office door crack open and a metal cylinder roll across the floor. GRENADE!]
[00:31]	Karan	rises as the back of her shirt rips apart, four silvery blurs of motion shooting out to encase the grenade. Another four position themselves as a metallic shield between herself and Big Sis from it.
[00:31]	Karan	"Grenade!"
[00:32]	Agamedes	...maybe I should take off my panties.. oh right I dont----!!!
[00:32]	`GM	[A burst of white light and a pop of sound disorients the party! Karan's blades help dissipate it somewhat.]
[00:34]	`GM	[A second after the sound of the grenade is heard, the doors burst open and the familiar hiss of suppressed pistols erupts!]
[00:39]	Agamedes	without a word of warning, throws up a chain, loosely threaded together to form a pseudo shield but the flash grenade threw her balance offguard, making it possible for a bullet to pass by if aimed well.
[00:39]	Agamedes	Well... looks like we pissed off the delivery guy. Heh.
[00:39]	BigSis	tumbles to the ground from the couch unelegantly and crawls for cover.
[00:42]	Agamedes	You know the drill sister, sit back and sip some tea. It'll be done shortly, before you finish your tea that is.
[00:42]	Meredith	calls up a figure, faintly glowing, of a hulking black bear between Big Sis and the gunmen.
[00:42]	Karan	takes a deep breath behind four of her bladewings, shielded from the worst of it. Enough cards; time to work.
[00:42]	BigSis	"Oh you just shut up, kid!"
[00:43]	Karan	Karan then recalls the grenade four and crouches, levering them and her own strength to toss a couch at the door!
[00:43]	Meredith	"Attack, Kuma!" she shouts, and it charges forward.
[00:44]	`GM	[Three gunmen are already in the office, wearing office casual clothes and carrying said silenced pistols. The couch slides into the doorway, knocking what seems to be more aggressors over.]
[00:52]	`GM	[A gunman further back manages to get a lucky shot in on Medes! Just a flesh wound; looks like her cheap bra is going to need a wash after this...]
[00:53]	Agamedes	MMnnn~.. *she gasps however slightly, wincing as bit as something else kicks in* D-damn.... I need to be careful.
[00:56]	Meredith	The glowing bear rampages over and swipes at the entire group of gunmen.
[01:00]	`GM	[Two of the aggressors are mauled down by the hard-light apparition. The third split the other way and goes for a shot on the summoner.]
[01:02]	Karan	bolts into action as she slams the shield formation into the door, barring it further, and leaps towards the third, using the other four to cut him apart in an eviscerating flurry!
[01:03]	Meredith	"Protect me, Kuma!" The bear rushes the gunman, taking the shot for Meredith and flickering a bit.
[01:06]	`GM	[Another grenade tumbles in from behind the couch.]
[01:07]	Agamedes	sees that her benefactor is open and uses her deft footwork, to give her some safety while the others clean up. Kicking the nearby ceramic coffee table to unlodge her ragged robe, she managed to make the larger combat ready chain drop, and within her smaller chains reach, quickly reforming and plaving a well guarded barrier around her and Big Sis.
[01:09]	Agamedes	"Hmph, they're sloppy today sister. Not too badly grazed are you?"
[01:10]	BigSis	grabs a pistol hidden under the couch, puffing stray hair out of her face.
[01:10]	BigSis	"Third time this year. I should just give up redecorating."
[01:12]	Agamedes	"Surp--hnnn... prised you haven't invested in bulletproof couches and furnitures."
[01:12]	`GM	[The grenade explodes in another burst of light, but a sneak attack is only a sneak attack once; the girls are unfazed.]
[01:14]	`GM	[Expecting a defenseless gaggle, the gunmen shove the couch out of the way and burst in with more aimless bullets!]
[01:16]	Agamedes	Cmon girls. Stop slacking. You can't beat a bunch of amatuers?
[01:18]	Meredith	Kuma roars; the gunmen attacked his mother! He charges into the crowd.
[01:20]	Karan	follows suit, summoning all eight to herself only to split four and four again, slicing and dicing two of the assailants. One promptly falls amidst the color red while another rolls out of the way only just in time.
[01:21]	BigSis	tries to get some shots off in between Medes hugging her with all those chains. It doesn't work.
[01:21]	BigSis	"Damn it kid I'm trying to shoot here, get off me!"
[01:22]	BigSis	shoves against Medes, trying to get a better offensive position.
[01:24]	Agamedes	You're a terrible shot anyway.
[01:24]	Agamedes	opens up enough space for Sister to fire off a few rounds.
[01:25]	BigSis	"Well compared to you anyone is!"
[01:26]	Agamedes	giggles, also in a deadpan tone, its almost creepy.
[01:26]	`GM	[In the hectic mess of oncoming gunmen and bears and blades it's a little hard to tell, but it doesn't look like the stream of enemies is neverending; a quick count actually reveals only four enemies still standing.]
[01:27]	`GM	[While two of them worry about why a bear is in this office, the other two focus together on the guardian of Miss D!]
[01:34]	Agamedes	is hit square in the shoulder and in reflex, part of her chains from the shield launches itself at the attack, hitting them square in the chest, cracking a rib.
[01:36]	Karan	dives after the one that escaped her, using seven to push against the ground to launch her into the air! She grasps the final blade sideways, coming down and striking the goon's head with the flat of the blade. He's out like a light.
[01:37]	Agamedes	Mmm..... feels good... sis... oi... I really, really need to stop feeling good in the middle of the battlefield.
[01:38]	`GM	[The opposing force is ragged, with one clutching his side after being hit by a chain, and the other two dealing with the holobear and not looking too pleased with it. No other gunmen are apparent.]
[01:40]	BigSis	takes a hand off her gun and snaps her fingers in Medes' face.
[01:40]	BigSis	"Hey, look at me when I'm talking to you!"
[01:41]	Agamedes	blushes slightly, maintainig her ever unchanging visage.
[01:41]	Agamedes	O..oh.. yes... of course we're still being fired at and stuff.
[01:42]	BigSis	turns her head and notices an easy target in the broken rib guy. She gets him in the chest easily.
[01:42]	BigSis	"Not really."
[01:43]	BigSis	"Where'd you let yourself get hit THIS time?"
[01:43]	Meredith	Kuma goes to all fours, trying to pin one or more of the gunmen.
[01:44]	Agamedes	mmm... right on my side~
[01:45]	Agamedes	nods down to her right waist, where the body would fold slightly, there's an open wound there, bleeding out.
[01:47]	BigSis	"Oh stop your perverted drooling, I'm sure it doesn't hurt THAT much."
[01:48]	Agamedes	...o..oh.. so it is. *wipes up her drool a bit, focusing back on the one sided battle at hand* So looks like we're about done soon.
[01:48]	BigSis	"Karan, Merry, are we done here?"
[01:48]	BigSis	doesn't hear any more gunshots, so she assumes the answer is yes and stands back up.
[01:49]	Karan	summons her bladewings to herself once more, letting them float in an intimidating fan behind her.
[01:49]	Karan	"Yes. I knocked one out for interrogation."
[01:49]	Karan	nudges the body at her foot.
[01:50]	BigSis	puts a hand on her hip and surveys the scene. They done gone and ruined the drywall again.
[01:50]	Meredith	"Was that the delivery?"
[01:51]	Agamedes	lets out a sigh, as a huge chunk of chain crawls back into her ragged robe at the side, taking a survey around the room once more.
[01:51]	BigSis	slides the magazine out of her pistol and checks the bullets remaining, then slides it back in.
[01:51]	Agamedes	Well... I have to say... they did make... quite a......
[01:51]	Agamedes	jacks Meredith's sunglasses.
[01:51]	Agamedes	Flashy entrance.
