Fundamental Rules

All trainers must follow these simple rules and guidelines to participate in the Pokemon League. Anyone found to have violated these rules may automatically be stripped of any rank (if applicable) and be unable to participate in future Pokemon events hosted by the Dungeon Gaming Network as determined by the hosts, including, but not limited to, all League matches and tournaments.

- Integrity is the name of the game; refrain from verbally accosting your opponent or using any hateful language in reaction to or in advance of a match. We require that all of the participants act like adults and do not damage the reputation of the League.

- Hacked Pokemon are strictly forbidden. This does not include only Pokemon with illegally hacked stats, movesets, abilities, etc. but also those who have been hacked to perform with "legal" stats. Everyone who participates in battles hosted through X/Y Wi-Fi Battle works hard to get their Pokemon up to competitive standards to compete with the best. Do not upset the balance or undermine the work of players by circumventing game mechanics normal players must wade through in order to craft their teams. In short, do not abuse hacking systems such as Pokegen or online GTS manipulation systems in ANY way. There is absolutely no accepted use of any of these.

- Don't violate the clauses set in place for matches. Though simulated battles through Pokemon Showdown used for certain tournaments will automatically enforce clauses, X/Y Wi-Fi Battles will not. All matches battled under unfair conditions through violation of any of these clauses will result in the match being voided.
