Tested with a 4k cinema projector.Displays of normal size,should be easily done,provided someone gives the correct information/excuses..

1)Find the product you are interested in the website..Do a little browsing around and you can find all kinds of displays,cinema related stuff.I found this company while watching a display at Harrods.


2)DO a search over the internet on the display or projector you want.The company itself,produces diffferent sizes of displays and different projecting equipment.Alibaba has some projector serials from this company(i found mine there at least) so those should be easy to find...


3)Contact the company and as usual knowing you have a serial in warranty and a Product code,tell them that your projector bulb has issues and during ''screen'' time there are visible lines on the top of the screen.I am pretty sure all of you have been to the cinemas or have seen how projectors work,so you should come up with some good excuses...


4)They will get back to you asking your information,from what company you are(I actually told them,I am doing video projections worldwide on festivals so I am a freelance type of company that provides the projector,while others in the ''crew'' provide displays and graphics)and give you general support guidelines,while at the same time suggesting that someone from their engineer team comes and checks your equipment.


5)Answer them you will be on some kind of a tour/doing a lot of travelling and even though you have sometimes a ''problematic'' projector,you can deal with it for the following month or so.Follow up and ask them whether your warranty supports RMA with advanced replacement which they will agree and ask you to give them a call.


6)On the phone be kind and profesional and they will ask for the usual VCC and drop location.

P.S.Concerning now PoP,I was lucky enough to come twice with one so I was covered.In the first time I was asked to provide one,but on the second time I used different wording,different excuses and managed to get through the PoP issue.(In this scenario actually I did a research on cinemas found the person responsible working in a cinema and had someone to pose as him)



Should be in general pretty easy if you know what to say and when to say it..


London being a city with a lot of film work/post production work gave me a thousand different excuses to work on...
