[02:18:28] <Ratty_GM> First, to your allies and underlings, who probably were rather worried about you, especially if this already went on for a while.
[02:18:39] <Ratty_GM> Second, to your superiors.
[02:19:43] Fuyuki_Ramses certainly called the Ninth the moment she woke up, after assuring Jordan and Liese that she was fine. This... this was something she *had* to tell Enishi. It's not everyday that you find yourself at Ground Zero of a fucking Walpurgisnacht.
[02:20:12] <Ratty_GM> Jordan and Ashlyn's squads seem to have been moving closer to the mountain, of all the things. It is odd, but that's how it is.
[02:20:55] <Ratty_GM> The rest of the Second has been camping in the woods some ten kilometers near by, alongside the Skitarii. They left Elysia a location on the road to pick them up, rather than going anywhere themselves. They seem to know what they are dealing with better than the Eighth, making a point of gathering forces first, and getting intelligence.
[02:22:24] Liese_Brandt did, perhaps unexpectedly, no such thing. See as it was her other half calling the shots now, whom had very little care in the world about bureaucracy or organizational structure, she was far more preoccupied with dealing with the problem at hand in a similar manner
[02:22:26] <Ratty_GM> The Incubators, for their part, knew exactly what was going on, and informed you that it has been two hours since it had started, and they were just about to start throwing orders around and put an end to it.
[02:24:23] <Ratty_GM> In Kelzang's case, he seemed to be already on it. In Eightball's case, it would be moving his remaining forces in the area to position to assist whoever the Seventh was going to deploy. In Hasmallim's case, he was adamant that he wouldn't move without knowing exactly what was going on here. At this point, even defeating the Walpurgisnacht could be a part of Londe's scheme.
[02:25:57] <Ratty_GM> As for the Ninth, he is surprised to be contacted. The helicopter has already departed, as he had been cutting his losses. Not to say he left Fuyuki for the dead, he'd simply had no information about the matter that did not come from her first.
[02:26:00] <Ratty_GM> Finally, Eriko has switched through several calls ever since she had contacted Kelzang. She seems to be discussing something hectically on the phone, even after all of you are done.
[02:27:39] <Fuyuki_Ramses> "Apologies. Circumstances meant that I was incapacitated for the past two hours." Fuyuki explains. She wasn't all too surprised if Kyuubey was really cutting his losses, though. He was already as hands-off as he could be about this whole Operation, what with sending a lone Callidus to do his bidding.
[02:29:35] <Ratty_GM> In the end, Eriko hands the phone away, directed to Jordan, as Elysia is still on the phone. "She wants to talk to someone in charge of the mess. I guess it's for you."
[02:30:50] <Jordan_Tenko> "When did I become the big dildo around here?" She asks facetiously, taking the phone. "Other Tenko speaking."
[02:32:11] <Fuyuki_Ramses> "So... uhhh... Orders?" Fuyuki says as she looks up at the Force of Nature hovering in the sky. 'Stopping Walpurgisnacht' was not in her Skillset.

[02:33:36] <Ashlyn> "I agree. Orders?"
[02:34:15] <Ratty_GM> Eightball's orders seem to be rather in the direction of 'handle it', in between all the name-calling.
[02:35:14] <Ratty_GM> "ALL YOU HA' TA DO WAS KILL DA DAMN WALPURGISNACHT WHILE IT WAS SEALED."
[02:36:22] <Ratty_GM> Kyubey, on the other hand, asks Fuyuki to simply assist the others. He understood, as he says, that she is not meant for this kind of operation, so there is likely not much she is going to be able to do here anyway, no offense.
[02:36:31] <Ratty_GM> That is, perhaps, even more insulting.
[02:36:46] Fuyuki_Ramses 's eye twitches at that implication.
[02:37:36] <Ratty_GM> The phone which was handed to Jordan has a different, even less expected voice.
[02:38:08] <Ratty_GM> "Apothecary Linhua Tung speaking. Is this the leader of the Eighth's operations?"
[02:38:14] <Ratty_GM> "Or Second, either is good."
[02:39:43] <Jordan_Tenko> "Woah, Linhua. Feels like it's been forever. Yes, this is the CO for the 8th's Detachment here."
[02:40:16] <Ratty_GM> "Oh no." the speaker slips up.
[02:41:46] <Ratty_GM> "Ah, well." the voice straightens up. "The Seventh has two squads at ready at the north, which would be the local cells. In addition, it will dispatch enough Venenum to deal with a large scale battle and the aftermath, because that is something the central command can deploy at short notice." she sighs.
[02:42:35] <Ratty_GM> "We hoped for the Vindicare Rank Leader to make it, but she cannot. So, the Seventh cannot provide any of the necessary firepower to deal with the threat. Not on a short notice, anyway."

[02:43:34] <Ratty_GM> "How is your side? What can we piece together?"
[02:46:06] <Jordan_Tenko> "We have a tank. There's also about a few dozen of us total already, plus this walpurgis shouldn't be as strong as the real deal I hope."
[02:47:43] <Ratty_GM> "No, but it still warrants heavy duty offensive. A tank is a good start." she whistles.
[02:48:38] <Ratty_GM> Elysia hears what you said, still on her on phone, and shouts at you "Tell them I have a thing here that can kill immortals!"
[02:49:38] <Jordan_Tenko> "Oh, right, and Elysia can kill serv-err, she has some sort of pile driver that she says can kill immortals."
[02:50:40] <Ratty_GM> Linhua answers quickly "What works best here, or works at all really, is giants lasers into the sky. That sort of a thing."
[02:52:08] <Ratty_GM> "Even if you had a soul-infused weapon-" she speaks about something presumably very specific "-you still need to physically be able to hit it. It's a hundred or more meters up in the air and moving."
[02:52:36] <Ratty_GM> "And the surface is a mountain, so you'd need to be right under it to consider that the real range. It gives us another option, but..."
[02:52:47] <Ratty_GM> "The Second is involved, so we probably cannot do that."
[02:54:01] <Ratty_GM> "If we cannot muster anything that can kill the damn thing, it's pointless to try, but we can try to keep it where it is, at an unpopulated spot, and let it peter out."
[02:54:17] <Jordan_Tenko> "You know distance isn't a problem for me, but I'd need a barrier for *my* immortal killing weapon..."

[02:57:08] <Fuyuki_Ramses> "We are going to need a *lot* to put that thing down." Fuyuki comments as she stands beside Lie- Krieg, looking up at Walpurgis-not still.
[02:57:51] <Ratty_GM> "Hmm. This subject is a bit delicate. I'd like it back. But I'll send him after you. Where would that be?"
[03:00:06] <Liese_Brandt> "Or perhaps just a lot of perseverance."

[03:03:01] <Jordan_Tenko> "Pham says were near Yen Bai? East of it. We're gonna stay close to the witch though."
[03:03:22] <Fuyuki_Ramses> "If I die here, and you and Liese live, could you please tell her that I love her?" The Callidus says with a straight face. "A little corny, yes, but I'd rather not go out with any regrets."
[03:04:12] <Ratty_GM> "Tell her we are DIRECTLY south of the mountain peak." Pham shouts, correcting you.
[03:05:05] <Ratty_GM> "Fifty kilometers or so."
[03:05:07] Fuyuki_Ramses offers Krieg an apologetic look. "Sorry."
[03:05:23] Liese_Brandt remains silent for several second, creating a short moment of uncomfortable stillness before finally answering. {Very well, but remember, visualizing defeat is the first step to making it reality.}
[03:05:30] <Jordan_Tenko> "South of the mountain peak as I'm told. Fifty clicks."
[03:06:20] <Ratty_GM> "Okay. I will pass it on, but that means you are pretty far away from the area of operations."
[03:06:29] <Fuyuki_Ramses> "Liese always did tell me that I was too glum for my own good. But thank you." Fuyuki nods. That was one thing crossed off her bucket list.

[03:21:28] <Ratty_GM> There is no time specified, but you are still on a quite literal clock hanging in the starry sky. You still have the two groups of your own people to pick up.
[03:22:31] <Ratty_GM> Eriko takes the phone worldessly, while the Inquisitor is curious.

[03:23:08] Fuyuki_Ramses gives her gear a once-over. Pistols? Check. Ammo? Check. Sabre? Check. Not enough to take down Walpurgis-not though.
[03:23:57] <Ashlyn> “WHAT’S THE PLAN, BOSS?”
[03:24:19] <Ratty_GM> Christina seems to be talking to her squad on her own phone, now that Jordan is not doing that. Ashlyn's squaddies are sort of standing around, hoping she does not take the tank out.
[03:24:54] <Jordan_Tenko> "We need to move. We'll be joining up with Linhua's group who's coming down from the north side of the mountain. She has 20 with her."
[03:25:37] <Jordan_Tenko> "Be advised, familiars are showing up in the area. They are strong."
[03:26:09] <Ashlyn> “Alright! Let’s beat the shit out of this thing!” Ash throws a fist in the air. She corrects herself. “Out of these things!”
[03:26:23] <Ratty_GM> "That's to be expected." Elysia is content with the answer.
[03:26:27] <Fuyuki_Ramses> "Linhua? The Seventh's pulling out the big guns for this one, then."
[03:27:05] <Jordan_Tenko> "Well, remember what form they take. She ran into Hye not too long ago."
[03:27:39] <Jordan_Tenko> "And they don't have any big guns close enough to react. This is just the local girls."
[03:27:46] <Ratty_GM> "It's not pulling out the big guns." Eriko, who went through the same talk herself, corrects the other Callidus. "It's sending qualified battlefield support and expecting the Eighth to do the work."
[03:28:05] <Ratty_GM> "Or the Second."
[03:28:51] <Ratty_GM> The girls are flocking into the transporter.
[03:29:55] <Ratty_GM> "It's just sprinkling here, so you should have good visibility." Pham points out. "Nearer to the hilltop it's going to be a thunderstorm again, though."
[03:30:17] Liese_Brandt remains mostly quiet throughout. Despite her nature, she seems to be in a trance of some sort. The Witch had always seemed somewhat distant and or absent when she manifested herself, yet this time, she seemed focused, reaching out, as if feeling the very presence of the Entity at all time and reacting to it.
[03:30:27] <Ratty_GM> "The typhoon that passed us in the afternoon is over there now."
[03:30:35] <Fuyuki_Ramses> "Ehhh? They're not sending out more of their Girls?" Fuyuki replies in confusion, which then quickly turns into dismay. Figures.
[03:30:56] <Jordan_Tenko> "Hey, at least we will have high quality medics. Right now we need to focus on getting there and possible attack plans."
[03:31:20] <Ratty_GM> "Twenty and some is more than any of the Officios here." Elysia says. "That is not too bad."
[03:32:16] <Fuyuki_Ramses> "You feeling different?" Fuyuki asks Krieg, having noticed the streak of alacrity from the normally-aloof Witch.
[03:33:51] <Liese_Brandt> {First, the visit to the other side. Now this. It's oddly... energizing, yet threatening at the same time. A conflicting sensation. }
[03:34:36] <Jordan_Tenko> "If anybody else has any secret weapons they've been hiding, now's a good time to whip them out!"
[03:34:57] <Fuyuki_Ramses> "Can Witches even feel excitement?"
[03:35:14] Fuyuki_Ramses turns to Jordan. "If I had a Nuke in my panties, I'd tell you!" She shouts back.
[03:36:29] <Ratty_GM> "You could try to give the lance to ME and see if I can channel the Blood Knight, or something." Pham proposes something outrageous.
[03:36:49] <Ratty_GM> "I bet you won't. She'd slap your shit."
[03:36:51] <Jordan_Tenko> "Nice try, Pham."
[03:37:47] <Liese_Brandt> {Sometimes, but not often.}
[03:37:55] <Ratty_GM> "Anyway, the typhoon is really lucky."
[03:38:23] Liese_Brandt then turns over to Jordan. {I do have one, but it is a double-edged weapon.}
[03:38:36] <Ratty_GM> "Tomorrow, no matter the outcome, there will be newspapers all over the country saying 'this particular typhoon is SO STRONG it tore out chunks of the ground."
[03:38:48] <Ashlyn> "Hey, can you tell me about your voicechanger now?" Ash sneaks over to and elbows Liese.
[03:38:55] <Fuyuki_Ramses> "Fair enough." Fuyuki says as she falls silent, letting Krieg mention her own 'Secret Weapon'.
[03:39:09] <Ratty_GM> "You've heard of trees being torn out with their roots, but what about a flying forest?"
[03:39:39] <Ratty_GM> "What I mean is that we can go all out. Nobody is insane enough to be watching this."

[03:40:41] Liese_Brandt pulls out of her inventory a small glass flask filled with a pink liquid. {Remember this?}
[03:41:41] <Jordan_Tenko> "Oh, you've still got some Pepto Bismol. Good."
[03:41:52] <Ratty_GM> "Oh, that's why you haven't started yet." Elysia mumbels from the back seat.
[03:42:38] <Ratty_GM> Someone brings Debbie, who is still basically catatonic, despite her eyes being open. She also reacts to stimuli, mostly by twitching.

[03:43:00] <Fuyuki_Ramses> "I only hope you know what you're doing." Is what Fuyuki tells Krieg, remembering well what that flask of pink liquid was.
[03:44:03] <Liese_Brandt> {I have no idea what that means, but the quandary is simple. On one hand, this could help me be more lethal in combat, but on the other, it will hurt my overall stamina and staying power, so the question is, do you people want me to distract the quarry for as long as possible, or do you want me to hunt?}

[03:46:47] <Ashlyn> "If I'm being ignored? Is that a yes?" She makes a pouty face.
[03:47:02] Liese_Brandt was, ironically, also ignored as she had asked the others for feedback regarding her preferred role in the coming battle.
[03:47:51] <Ratty_GM> "It is a highly dangerous drug that increases combat potential in echange for permanent aftereffects." Elysia says firmly, not minding that she is slightly incorrect
[03:48:06] <Fuyuki_Ramses> "I don't know how you'd distract *that*..." Fuyuki points to Walpurgis-not as she says that. "... so hunt, I guess?"
[03:48:26] <Ratty_GM> "I'd rather not have you do it." the not-nun adds.
[03:48:49] <Fuyuki_Ramses> "Same. Save it for when you really do need it."
[03:49:18] <Liese_Brandt> {Not entirely accurate, on both accounts, though one would argue that if it is not needed to fight such a foe, it is never needed at all.}

Due to our... circumstances.. the substances acts like a poison somewhat, and while it makes me stronger it will make me less able to sustain damage. That is what I meant.}
