▶️ Who is "champ"?
The champ is the title deemed upon whoever we are watching battle. It could be anyone -- even YOU!

▶️ How do I become the champ?
Whenever the current champ relinquishes his title (by posting something along the lines of "new champ" in the thread), the first person with a tripcode that expresses desire to claim the title, gets it!

▶️ When should I champ?
Champing can be a daunting task for some - you must utilize bottom of the barrel sets against what may be the best of the best in your tier, all the while autists will make fun of you in the chat. It's suggested that you lurk for a bit to familiarize yourself before champing.

▶️ What does one do after claiming champ?
From there, the first 6 valid Pokémon suggested becomes champs team to build and then battle with.

▶️ Where are these battles done?
We use the (borderline illegal) Pokémon Showdown!™ simulator. Champ should post every battle link into the thread.

▶️ What tier are these battles done in?
OU, unless explicitly stated otherwise in the team call; the most common tiers to play in other than OU are AG and Ubers. It's also advised that you warn the battle chat so you can get sets appropriate for said tier.

▶️ Do you need to use the same team the whole time?
No. Just like you can call for a new champ, you may also call for a new team to receive a fresh batch of memes. Typically, this will be done after three to five battles with the old team.

▶️ Someone suggested this "citizen snaps" thing and I don't know what that is! Is it some Gen 8 Pokeman?
No. Sometimes specific sets will be referred to by simply their nickname rather than the full set. For help you should reference the meme database (dogars.org)

▶️ What the fug is this Showdown thing? I'm confused.
