  1.
  2. Narrator has connected.
  3. Avara has connected.
  4. Actinidia has connected.
  5. Grace Leonhardt has connected.
  6. Narrator: Beginning role call in 20 seconds.
  7. DNA: roll call
  8. Grace Leonhardt: hoi
  9. DNA: yes, I got that wrong for 2 years on my files before I noticed it was wrong
  10. Narrator: :P
  11. Narrator: That's 2.
  12. Narrator: We're missing Actava
  13. Actinidia: is present and ready.
  14. Avara: beep beep bareep.
  15. Narrator: Excellent.
  16. July 23rd, 2017.
  17. 73 degrees with a 52 degree humidity.
  18. Current wind speeds are at 8 mph blowing North, Northwest.
  19. There's a light rain. Currently 0.05 inches of water.
  20. Sunday. Because I forgot to add that.
  21. 0230 hours.
  22. Actinidia, Etna, Grace and Pierce had recently underwent dramatic change and became Pokémon. Actinidia, the Grass-Type Snivy. Etna, the Ice and Rock-Type Amaura. Grace, the Fighting-Type Riolu. Pierce, the Steel and Rock-Type Aron. The four of them had recently exited their hotel rooms to find a group of Dark and Fire-Type Houndour in the midst of devouring a six year old girl. With a bright orange glow lighting the entire hotel from the windows leading outside, what will the groups next move be?
  23. Let's continue the journey of new-life~
  24. Etna: "Have you all finished gathering whatever you're bringing from your rooms?"
  25. Grace Leonhardt: Coming out in a rather improvised set of clothes and the sarena bag, she'll hod her head. "Y-Yeah I think I'm good."
  26. Pierce Mars Oswell: Pierce came a bit shambling out, wearing just a single small plate from his former cosplay over his back (though it blended in well enough with his natural armor that he was pondering just discarding it later anyway), and a locket around his neck engraved with a ♂ on the front of it. He said nothing, but nodded.
  27. Actinidia: Actinidia found that none of her clothes fit. She didn't bring any of her expensive toys, but still had her phone and wallet (probably). Not waiting to confirm whether the phone worked or not, Actinidia would use a pillow case to gather all the little soaps and shampoo bottles from her room and exit.
  28. Actinidia: Also a towel and hand towel.
  29. Grace Leonhardt: "So uh... Question? Uh... where are we going?"
  30. Etna: Etna, meanwhile, has been trying to deal with the facts of life-changing crisis, murder, child-killers, and the fact that the building is probably on fire. A series of crises that she doesn't really have time for, and will have to keep dealing with them later. "Alright. Let's get going downstairs. I don't know if any of you are tall enough to see the windows still, but the outside looks kind of... orange and bright. Like fire? And I don't want to be on fire."
  31. Etna: "So we're going outside first."
  32. Actinidia: "We should find others. Like minded survivalists. We don't know what happened, how long it will remain or how far it spread." Actinidia allowed herself a little shrug, "We need food to eat, a place to eat it. Same as normal living. The only difference is we might need to defend ourselves from monsters."
  33. Etna: "First step is still outside. Let's go?"
  34. Actinidia: Actinidia hoisted her pillowcase bag over her shoulder and followed.
  35. Grace Leonhardt: "I uh... I suppose I'll go first?"
  36. Etna: "I can lead. Until we get to a door."
  37. Pierce Mars Oswell: "And find who else this happened to. Or if there are any other kids in danger."
  38. Avara: etna's willing to take the lead because, at the moment, etna is extremely durable by LV1 standards. with a ridiculous amount of hp.
  39. Avara: so formation suggestion: etna, grace, pierce, act?
  40. Avara: etna's big enough that two could be standing side-by-side behind her.
  41. Actinidia: Sure
  42. DNA: No objection to that.
  43. Grace Leonhardt: Ditto
  44. Narrator: Setup your formation and then I will move your tokens.
  45. Narrator: Moving...
  46. Narrator: Now loading...
  47. As you descend down the stairs you hear a howling cry before a loud thud. It sounded eerily familiar. Like a more realistic version of a deathcry midi...
  48. Houndour 2: Houndour 2 loses 7 health.
  49. Houndour 2: Houndour 2 loses 4 health.
  50. Narrator: Next area loaded.
  51. Please continue awesome impersonifications.
  52. Etna: "Looks like someone picked off the runner."
  53. Pierce Mars Oswell: "That's...That's not good. Means we're not alone."
  54. Etna: Etna attempts to imitate a hand wave with a front forelimb at the spidermon, spidermon, does whatever a spidermon does.
  55. Actinidia: "It's for the better. We don't want an enemy this early."
  56. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...True."
  57. Spinarak 1: Spinarak 1 narrows its bulging eyeballs at Grace and studies her.
  58. Etna: "Hello. Do you speak?"
  59. Grace Leonhardt: "Agreed.. Oh uh... Hi?" She'll give the spider a small wave.
  60. Spinarak 1: "Mother! The new ones are capable of mouth words!"
  61. Spinarak 3: "Ask them the three questions!"
  62. Spinarak 1: Spinarak 1 clears his throat, "What are you?"
  63. Etna: "Amaura, Aron, Riolu and Snivy. Formerly human, presently Pokemon."
  64. You hear the scattering of feet around the room as you all maneuver.
  65. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will look down at herself. "Uh, I think I'm a riolu now? Though I was human not too long ago...?"
  66. Actinidia: Actinidia watches the spiders. Wondering if they were spiders before turning into pokemon.
  67. Spinarak 1: "That conveniently takes care of question two. Alright then. Last question."
  68. Actinidia: Actinidia also makes sure to stand behind her allies, remembering her type weakness.
  69. Spinarak 1: "When are you?"
  70. Etna: "Here, now, and wondering if you're Monty Python fans, or if I'm missing the reference."
  71. Spinarak 1: "Mother!"
  72. Pierce Mars Oswell: "I'm neither African nor European, just to get that out of the way."
  73. Grace Leonhardt: "When? Uh... I can't actually Oh. Well that seems to answer what was needed?"
  74. Actinidia: "I don't think these were human. I don't think they'll understand the reference."
  75. Spinarak 3: "I heard. Drag them to the chambers with the rest."
  76. Etna: "You might not want to fight us, actually."
  77. Etna: "May I explain before we get into things?"
  78. Spinarak 1: Spinarak 1 rears up and flexes its mandibles, "I would appreciate it if you didn't resist."
  79. Spinarak: Point of order: Initiative equals 11
  80. Spinarak 1: Point of order: Initiative equals 12
  81. Spinarak 2: Point of order: Initiative equals 4
  82. Spinarak 3: Point of order: Initiative equals 18
  83. Spinarak 4: Point of order: Initiative equals 8
  84. Grace Leonhardt: Point of order: Initiative equals 10
  85. Pierce Mars Oswell: Point of order: Initiative equals 4
  86. Etna: Point of order: Initiative equals 11
  87. Actinidia: Point of order: Initiative equals 8
  88. * Etna sighs.
  89. DNA: ...wait, how is my initiative only 4?
  90. Etna: "One day we'll find pokemon willing to listen. If they can TALK, they can THINK, and they can realize we don't want to deal with this. But... well, we don't have to kill these ones. As far as we know, they aren't actually murdering people. So far."
  91. Narrator: (( Y'know, I'm entirely not sure. Let me re-look at the macro. ))
  92. DNA: I'm asking, because it's a Dexterity (Initiative) check, right?
  93. Actinidia: ((Yeah, I have dex of 2))
  94. DNA: My Dexterity is 5, so a result of 4 is literally impossible
  95. Avara: did it get modified last battle and not get re-modified?
  96. DNA: Don't think so. Last fight my init was 12.
  97. Avara: act, the init is rando-rolled, so dex 2 can still get init 8. it's DNA's that's weird
  98. Actinidia: ((Oh, I thought I was the 4 initiative. My mistake))
  99. Narrator: (( Fixed. I'll re-roll now. ))
  100. Spinarak: Point of order: Initiative equals 12
  101. Spinarak 1: Point of order: Initiative equals 13
  102. Spinarak 2: Point of order: Initiative equals 14
  103. Spinarak 3: Point of order: Initiative equals 16
  104. Spinarak 4: Point of order: Initiative equals 11
  105. Grace Leonhardt: Point of order: Initiative equals 11
  106. Pierce Mars Oswell: Point of order: Initiative equals 16
  107. Etna: Point of order: Initiative equals 15
  108. Actinidia: Point of order: Initiative equals 12
  109. Avara: wheee~
  110. DNA: That's better
  111. DNA: ...and strangely samey
  112. Avara: so, to say something for those who may not know/remember
  113. Avara: you can Pull Your Punch on an attack to render someone unconscious instead of dead.
  114. Avara: it comes without penalty.
  115. * DNA announces I will be Pulling My Punches on everything, unless I specifically note otherwise!
  116. Narrator: Yup, but you'll need to say so before dealing damage. Or else I won't recognize it.
  117. Actinidia: Yep. Accidentally forgetting to say you pull your punch is rendered IC as accidentally killing someone.
  118. Spinarak 3: Spinarak 3 skitters along the wall and inhales deeply!
  119. Spinarak 3: (( Yes DNA, I'll require the same of you. I'd rather not have to memorise more than I have to. ))
  120. DNA: Very well.
  121. Spinarak 3: 3+2+5+3=13
  122. Spinarak 3: Spinarak 3 loses 3 power.
  123. Spinarak 3: Spinarak 3 sighs dejectedly.
  124. Pierce Mars Oswell has received initiative.
  125. Spinarak 3: (( Oh, compound eyes. Wait a tic ))
  126. Pierce Mars Oswell: Pierce feels a little drained from the last encounter, thus isn't-
  127. Spinarak 3: (( Just a tad, DNA ))
  128. * Pierce Mars Oswell waits
  129. Spinarak 3: Spinarak 3 spits a black thread at Etna! Dex (Acro) vs. 12.
  130. Etna: 1+1+4+2=8
  131. Avara: i swear the rng is mocking me
  132. Avara: doubles on every failure roll.
  133. Spinarak 3: Spinarak 3 sticks the black thread on Etna and lifts her into the air before swinging her 3 meters to the east!
  134. * Etna is successfully moved closer to the enemies!
  135. Etna: Etna has become Poisoned for 3 rounds (until Round 4) and suffers a -3 penalty to both Initiative and Speed.
  136. DNA: ...Toxic Thread is disgusting, wow.
  137. Avara: so the speed adjust macro, yeh?
  138. Narrator: Mmhm.
  139. Narrator: List the penalty as -3.
  140. Narrator: Not 3. For reference.
  141. Avara: figured, yeah
  142. Narrator: Continue on, Pierce. Thank you.
  143. Pierce Mars Oswell: Pierce feels a little drained from the last encounter, thus isn't inclined to stretch himself too thin. He takes a breath, attempting to Recycle his power.
  144. Pierce Mars Oswell: Pierce Mars Oswell loses 1 power.
  145. Pierce Mars Oswell: DC11:
  146. Unresolved value "modifier".
  147. Pierce Mars Oswell: 4+4+2+2=12
  148. Avara: stoont
  149. Pierce Mars Oswell: Pierce is now under the effect of Recycle. And that was a usage check so I'm not sure if I get to stu-
  150. Pierce Mars Oswell: actually, can I stunt off a technique's usage check?
  151. Narrator: You performed a Technique. You stunted.
  152. Pierce Mars Oswell: OK!
  153. Avara: yup
  154. Pierce Mars Oswell: Rapid Strike, then
  155. Pierce Mars Oswell: Pierce hardens his body, spending 6 PP. The effect of Recycle activates, granting him 5 PP back also.
  156. Pierce Mars Oswell: Pierce Mars Oswell loses 1 power.
  157. Unresolved value "modifier".
  158. Pierce Mars Oswell: DC10:
  159. Pierce Mars Oswell: 6+6+5+2=19
  160. Narrator: You can't stunt on Rapid Strike, unfortunately.
  161. Pierce Mars Oswell: No stunt points are generated, but Pierce is now under the effect of Iron Defense for 4 hours.
  162. Narrator: ...Stop it, DNA.
  163. Avara: otherwise you would've just god-turned
  164. DNA: NEVER

  177. Etna: 3+6+6+3=18
  178. Spinarak 2: You only take 4 Bug Penetrating Damage instead.
  179. Spinarak 2: Spinarak 2 is healed and gains 4 health.
  180. Avara: including the extra die from crit?
  181. Spinarak 2: (( Correct ))
  182. Etna: Etna is healed and gains 8 health.
  183. Spinarak 2: Spinarak 2 loses 8 power.
  184. * Etna flinches back from the bite, starting to get very irate with these bugs.

  200. DNA: ayyy
  201. Spinarak 1: (( Soz, Vit (stamina) ))
  202. Grace Leonhardt: 1+6+6+2=15
  203. Avara: 1 in 3 chance, you say?
  204. Spinarak 1: Spinarak 1 bites Grace, dealing 5 Bug Damage and whines along her leg as he fails to steal her Power.

  222. DNA: I just checked and ran some numbers; with three dice, doubles have a 4 in 9 chance of being rolled
  223. Spinarak 1: "Uh, mom! MOM!"
  224. Etna has received initiative.
  225. Avara: Like a daddy long-legs, its fangs are too small to penetrate your hide.
  226. Avara: so what's the low-down on my poison?
  227. Spinarak 3: Make a Vit (Stamina) test vs. 12
  228. Spinarak 3: Succeed, and you suffer nothing. Fail, and you take penetrating damage.

  312. Narrator: It's an attack.
  313. Avara: it was the 8 rolled earlier
  314. DNA: oh, okay, apparently Infestation targets a stat, not requiring a usage check.

  333. Etna: Rolling before fluff. Communication (Persuasion).
  334. Etna: 1+6+4+4=15
  335. Etna: Etna moves her head closer to Abdua. "Okay. So all in all, you seem like a reasonable sort. I can be reasonable too. So let's reason. We don't want to kill you. We just want to grab some things, make sure people aren't getting killed, and figure out what's going on. We're not food, or in need of rescue, or whatever other reason it is you're gathering people up in a chamber. Let's talk. There are things you'll want to know about how Pokemon work, if you're deciding things for this group."
  336. Abdua: Abdua takes into consideration what Etna has proposed.
  337. * Avara ends turn.
  338. Abdua: "Indeed, you are not. Instead you are the giants from a greater history. What irony has befallen your mighty empire that we now stand at equal ground?"
  339. Abdua: "Children, allows these creatures to scavenge from this level and exit our domain."
  340. Actinidia: Actinidia rubs her chin in thought.
  341. Abdua: Abdua nods to Etna, "You may do as I said. Scavenge from this floor and exit."
  342. Etna: "I'm glad you're willing to reason. As a fair concession, since we're being reasonable: I'm fairly sure that your domain is on fire, as a result of what's happening outside."
  343. Abdua: "If you do only that, we will not bother you nor pursue you."
  344. Narrator: Anyone else wishing to continue the combat or follow their instructions?
  345. Actinidia: "Have you seen any other giants that are still giants?"
  346. DNA: I have no wish to fight!
  347. Actinidia: Actinida has no wish to continue fighting.
  348. Grace Leonhardt: No need to fight so time ta stop.
  349. Narrator: Initiative is over.
  350. Narrator: The vortex vanishes.
  351. DNA: Presumably, Etna is no longer poisoned either.
  352. Narrator: The Spinarak takes a breather.
  353. Narrator: Correct.
  354. Avara: breathers for everyone?
  355. Spinarak 1: Spinarak 1 is healed and gains 4 health.
  356. Spinarak 1: Spinarak 1 is recovers 2 power.
  357. Abdua: Abdua is healed and gains 1 health.
  358. Abdua: Abdua is recovers 2 power.
  359. Spinarak 3: Spinarak 3 is healed and gains 4 health.
  360. Spinarak 3: Spinarak 3 is recovers 2 power.
  361. Spinarak 2: Spinarak 2 is healed and gains 4 health.
  362. Spinarak 2: Spinarak 2 loses 2 power.
  363. Spinarak 2: Spinarak 2 is recovers 4 power.
  364. Spinarak 4: Spinarak 4 is healed and gains 4 health.
  365. Spinarak 4: Spinarak 4 is recovers 2 power.
  366. Narrator: (( Taking a breather is 5 minutes of resting after combat and can only be done at that time. ))
  367. Narrator: (( You heal 5 + Vitality health and 2 + Aura Power Points. ))
  368. Avara: i'm good with a breather if we all are, but we don't strictly NEED it.
  369. DNA: plus level
  370. Actinidia: ((Do we do our own, or will you do it for us? Also, should we have a Take A Breather macro?
  371. Narrator: Right, plus level. Thanks DNA
  372. Pierce Mars Oswell: Pierce Mars Oswell is healed and gains 9 health.
  373. Pierce Mars Oswell: Pierce Mars Oswell is recovers 5 power.
  374. Narrator: (( I'll make a take a breather macro. ))
  375. Narrator: For now, do it on your own.
  376. Actinidia: Actinidia is healed and gains 2 health.
  377. Actinidia: Actinidia is recovers 5 power.
  378. Etna: Etna is healed and gains 9 health.
  379. Etna: Etna is recovers 6 power.
  380. Actinidia: As a show of good will, Actinidia walked over to Spinarak 2 and used Synthesis!
  381. Actinidia: Actinidia loses 1 power.
  382. Actinidia: 3+6+6+2=17
  383. Actinidia: Skillful Usage
  384. Actinidia: Actinidia is recovers 1 power.
  385. Abdua: "Any remaining giants we met have either turned or fled outside. My clan currently scours the building for life and acts accordingly."
  386. Grace Leonhardt: Max health, Gains 5 Power.
  387. Actinidia: Restores 7 HP.
  388. Grace Leonhardt: Grace Leonhardt is recovers 4 power.
  389. Etna: "What do you do with the life you find and can capture?"
  390. Spinarak 2: Spinarak 2 is healed and gains 7 health.
  391. Actinidia: "There you are, friend."
  392. Spinarak 2: "Thank you slender one. How is it you restore the wounds of others?"
  393. Abdua: "Depends. Their fate is mostly left up to their own decisions. But in the end, we learn."
  394. Abdua: "Once we have learned enough, our mission may change. But there is much we do not know and much we can learn."
  395. Actinidia: "I am still learning, but it is something I just feel I can do."
  396. Spinarak 2: Spinarak 2 rubs its mandibles with its forelegs, "Odd. We are both green, so perhaps I can learn to do it as well! There is much unknown about our newfound potential."
  397. Etna: "I believe I promised you knowledge of Pokemon, as a measure of trust. So. Pokemon have... I think it was 18 different aspects they can be attuned to, by their form, attuning to 2 at most. You are Bug/Poison, which means that you're strong against leafy enemies, weak against shiny metal ones, rocky ones, and those that wield fire."
  398. Etna: "As you might've noticed, you have access to a new form of energy, too. It can attune to any number of these apects, though there may be a limit based on your form as well."
  399. Actinidia: "You might be able to learn some kind of healing. I feel like the kind I know is tied more to me being a plant than me being green." Actinidia put some thought into it before she continued, "But there are many ways to help people heal, even without these kinds of techniques. If you find a box of bandages, cotton and other things, you can use them to cover wounds and help them heal."
  400. Abdua: Abdua takes a moment to memorize the quickly spat explanation, "Hm. So there are advantages and disadvantages based entirely on the makeup of our new forms? Which then influences our application? Interesting."
  401. Abdua: "We'll need to experiment then and find what is most effective. Surara, order the younger ones to experiment with applications and pass on the results."
  402. Spinarak 3: "Yes, elder." Spinarak 3 nods and skitters off to the stairs.
  403. Spinarak 3: Spinarak 3's name has been discovered!
  404. Etna: "Bug and poison were, to my knowledge... best suited to clever tactics and wearing down the enemy. You adapt well to it."
  405. Actinidia: "My name is Actinidia, what is yours?" She asked Spinarak 2.
  406. Spinarak 2: "Jeenas." Spinarak 2 tilted his head, "Your name is weird."
  407. Grace Leonhardt: "Just like my typing, Fighting, you'd do good against me. Fighting type is usually the kind that are on two legs and punch and kick. I think even more so, considering I think you have poisioning type too. OH! And My name is Grace."
  408. Spinarak 2: Spinarak 2's name has been discovered!
  409. Etna: "Well, Bug and Fighting both resist each other's aspects. You might find others talking about these aspects in their more common term, Type. Not all humans will know about it, though."
  410. Actinidia: "My name is unusual. But I hope we will continue to hear about one another in the future."
  411. Pierce Mars Oswell: "I'm still trying to figure this all out myself, so we're not alone. And I don't want this place to descend into chaos any more than you do. ...Oh, and just call me Mars."
  412. Etna: "You asked why we're brought on-level with you. We don't know, but your kind and ours seem to have been transformed into creatures from a fiction humans created thousands of suns ago."
  413. Jeenas: "Hopefully we'll still be around in the future. We're not the only ones fighting for control over this domain. But thus far, we've had the upper hand."
  414. Grace Leonhardt: "Fiction turned reality."
  415. Grace Leonhardt: "Heads up, there were uh... fire dogs up a few floors that you'd do poorly against on the typing matchup. Be careful with them."
  416. Abdua: "You continue to speak in strange tongue. Hoomons this and hoomons that."
  417. DNA: Is this a Jack Frost reference
  418. Abdua: "Oh, we're aware of those. We've killed most of them and forced them to retreat into the upper levels."
  419. Abdua: "Unlike us, however, they cannot cling to walls it seems. So that has been an advantage of ours."
  420. Etna: "The forms we used to wear. Tall, two-legged, with two limbs used to grab things. The term for that kind of being is Human."
  421. Abdua: Abdua chitters joyfully, "Flinging them from the domain with our thread has made easy work of most of them."
  422. Abdua: "Ah, the giants again? We were not allies almost half a sun ago."
  423. Etna: "Right."
  424. Abdua: "How funny that we would speak so friendly."
  425. Etna: "Times change. Humans define ourselves, if nothing else, by adaptability."
  426. All the Spinarak chitter together, almost in laughter.
  427. * Etna does her level best to shrug at the laughter.
  428. Actinidia: "Humans put a lot of value on speaking."
  429. Etna: "Times change. Circumstances change. I don't mind being humbled if it means my friends and I can survive."
  430. Abdua: "If the domain becomes solidly ours, you may return at a later date and find refuge. We will remember you for nearly 20 suns, that much I can promise. After that, we may forget."
  431. Grace Leonhardt: "Hey uh... do you have any idea about the kid that was upstairs by the way...?"
  432. Abdua: "Ked?" Abdua tilts her head.
  433. Etna: "Your memory, and lifespan, may be well increased. The nature of Pokemon in this regard is unknown. And Pokemon may have a limit to the applications they can learn for their energy." Etna bows her head respectfully.
  434. Actinidia: "I have a proposal, Lady Abdua. Perhaps one of your own could travel with us? Since you have such a strong hold on this domain, having one of yours traveling alongside us while we search around would give you access to all sorts of information. In addition, our perspective as former humans would give us an advantage on exploring and exploiting our former empire's technology."
  435. Etna: "Kid is a term for hatchlings and younglings."
  436. Actinidia: "And we would benefit from the extra protection of an additional companion."
  437. Grace Leonhardt: "Right, um... It was about ye tall, pink skin, wor clothing?"
  438. Abdua: (( I'm going to imagine Grace is using her paw to distinguish the height ))
  439. Grace Leonhardt: (Roight)
  440. Abdua: "Kelothing? Hm, I am going to guess you're referring to a giant."
  441. Grace Leonhardt: "Oh uh, right, a young giant."
  442. Abdua: "Those that didn't turn seem to be the younger, more fragile ones. If any remained, they were likely hunted as prey by the others in the domain. We were not successful in capturing any ourselves. Many did flee the domain near the beginning."
  443. Abdua: "As for a compannion to follow and acquire knowledge outside the domain..." Abdua contemplates.
  444. Jeenas: "Oh! I'd like to go!"
  445. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Oh my god, that means there's a bunch of children running around outside... Oh my god..."
  446. * Pierce Mars Oswell racked his head and shook it a bit in disbelief.
  447. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will hide her mouth behind her hands, and her ears reflexivly fold back. "Oh God..."
  448. Etna: "Yeah. We need to gather up supplies and get out there. Transformed or not, they're still kids and they're probably very scared right now."
  449. Abdua: "Denied. You are a male and must remain. I'll spare a female. Jeenas, go retrieve one of my youngest female descendents."
  450. Etna: "Thank you again, Abdua."
  451. * Etna is going to go scavenge.
  452. Jeenas: Jeenas pouts and skitters off to the hallway.
  453. Avara: oh. how long does that speed penalty last?
  454. Actinidia: "We will see you again, Jeenas." Actinidia gave him a smile.
  455. Narrator: An hour.
  456. Narrator: Clear Body is beautiful.
  457. DNA: Dohohoho
  458. Actinidia: Actinidia found a bag with surprisingly appropriate items!
  459. * Pierce Mars Oswell glanced over. "Hey, Grace? You all right?"
  460. Avara: game started at 0230, we got into a fight right after, and the penalty came first round. so ~0331?
  461. Narrator: Mmhm.
  462. Avara: noted.
  463. Narrator: I'm keeping track of time, weather and npc interactions, deaths and combat. No worries.
  464. Etna: (( care to describe the loot find, or do we just stumble on 4 extremely convenient packs? ))
  465. Narrator: (( You stumble upon them. They're just lying there. ))
  466. Grace Leonhardt: "I uh... I don't really know how to process children just lost like this ene masse. I'm just... I donno, I pray that there isn't mre cases like... you know..." She'll deflate a bit refering to upstairs.
  467. Pierce Mars Oswell: Pierce went quiet. "...I know." He looked at the ground.
  468. Etna: "Huh. Convenient..." Etna noses through the contents of a pack, and pulls out some padding material that looks like it'd drape well over her body. She then tries to get it on firmly.
  469. Jeenas: Jeenas returns with an incredibly small Spinarak.
  470. Pierce Mars Oswell: "......I don't know either. But I can't save them if I don't do anything." His voice trailed off.
  471. Jeenas: "I found one!"
  472. Spinarak (Diminutive): Spinarak (Diminutive) looks around, "...Were we not ordered to capture the strange ones?"
  473. Abdua: Abdua facepalms as best a six-legged spider could, "Of all the..."
  474. * Pierce Mars Oswell hobbles on over to the pack near Etna.
  475. Abdua: "No, no. This could work. She could grow from such exploration..."
  476. * Etna equips Light Padded Clothes and delicately slings the backpack around her neck.
  477. Spinarak (Diminutive): "Geh?"
  478. Abdua: "We have made friendlies with the former giants in the room."
  479. Actinidia: Actinidia approached, wearing a vest, hat and cape now. "Hello little one. I am Actinidia."
  480. Spinarak (Diminutive): "Ah, yes. The storied giants..." Spinarak (Diminutive) rolls her eyes, "I just see a bunch of weirdos. So, what's the dilemma?"
  481. Avara: someone was just hatched today.
  482. Grace Leonhardt: "S-Stored giants...?"
  483. Avara: storied, with an i.
  484. Spinarak (Diminutive): Spinarak (Diminutive) looks up at Actinidia, "...Oh, you have a name. I'm Uraruren. I'm going to be clutch leader one day!" Spinarak (Diminutive) stands proudly.
  485. Spinarak (Diminutive): Spinarak (Diminutive)'s name has been discovered!
  486. Etna: "Did you find something good too, Pierce?"
  487. Abdua: "As unlearned and young as you are, Uraruren, you're far from a clutch lead."
  488. Pierce Mars Oswell: "I found some good stuff yeah. Like this spiked buckler, which I...guess I'll be wearing over my back or something."
  489. Abdua: "Thus, as we learn from our interactions with these new friendlies, you're ordered to travel with them for at least 30 suns and then return."
  490. Pierce Mars Oswell: "I can carry all this; size is the issue. I'll be okay."
  491. Uraruren: "For what?!"
  492. * Etna will help Pierce get the shield on.
  493. Actinidia: "At least 30? You said you aren't sure if you will remember us in 20 suns."
  494. Abdua: "It is my royal decree. You may return sooner if you learn something of significant value."
  495. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Ah. Thank you."
  496. Abdua: Abdua chitters gleefully at Actinidia, "Indeed. But that's because you aren't one of us. Uraruren is my daughter. We'll recognize her even after 50 suns!"
  497. Abdua: "But perhaps not longer after that."
  498. Uraruren: "If I recognize you after 50 suns...old bitch..."
  499. Actinidia: Actinidia smiles. "I'll have her returned before 50 suns."
  500. Abdua: "Your tenacity will serve you well in your pursuit of knowledge. This may have been the best choice."
  501. Pierce Mars Oswell: "I wouldn't think lack of long-term memory is something you'd pride yourself on..."
  502. Etna: "Children seem to be the same no matter how they originate." Etna makes a final adjustment on the shield. "There you go, Pierce."
  503. Uraruren: "Tch, I have to follow your decree, mother." Uraruren looks around at everyone, "But that doesn't mean I have to like it! I may just come back early!"
  504. Abdua: "Come back without something useful and you'll be exiled. Don't fool yourself."
  505. Uraruren: "Ghh!" Uraruren cringes.
  506. Abdua: "Is this to your satisfaction, new friendlies?"
  507. Etna: "Yeah, I think this'll work out."
  508. Grace Leonhardt: "Uh... Y-Yeah, it should."
  509. Actinidia: Actinidia laughed, "Very much so. I look forward to our alliance"
  510. Etna: "I hope you have good luck getting your knowledge, Abdua."
  511. Abdua: "We must. The survival of us all depends on it."
  512. Etna: "Act, Grace, have you found anything to bring along the way?"
  513. * Etna nods at the two packs remaining.
  514. Actinidia: "Now, did everyone gather everything they could find?" (Did you pick up the traveler's bag with your stuff in it?)
  515. Avara: etna and pierce have grabbed packs.
  516. Actinidia: So did act, she is wearing her things
  517. Avara: ok
  518. Avara: Grace?
  519. Grace Leonhardt: Yeah?
  520. * Etna nudges the remaining pack on the ground towards Grace.
  521. Grace Leonhardt: (Rioght, got sidetracked myself to the point of forrgetting to scavange. >.)
  522. Avara: no worries.
  523. Avara: we're a team. we watch out for each other.
  524. Uraruren: Uraruren watches as everyone picks up a bag, "I'm glad I always carry my things with me." Uraruren pats her two leather pouches wrapped around her like backpacks.
  525. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will look around and see the package nearby, and try to see if there's anything of worth taking.
  526. Narrator: You can click the bag to see what's inside.
  527. You have disconnected.
  528. DNA: From the previous Spinarak encounter, we receive 300 EXP each.
