Actinidia, Etna, Grace and Pierce had recently underwent dramatic change and became Pokémon. Actinidia, the Grass-Type Snivy. Etna, the Ice and Rock-Type Amaura. Grace, the Fighting-Type Riolu. Pierce, the Steel and Rock-Type Aron. The four of them had recently exited their hotel rooms to find a group of Dark and Fire-Type Houndour in the midst of devouring a six year old girl. With a bright orange glow lighting the entire hotel from the windows leading outside, what will the groups next move be?

	Etna: 	"Have you all finished gathering whatever you're bringing from your rooms?"
	Grace Leonhardt: 	Coming out in a rather improvised set of clothes and the sarena bag, she'll hod her head. "Y-Yeah I think I'm good."
	Pierce Mars Oswell: 	Pierce came a bit shambling out, wearing just a single small plate from his former cosplay over his back (though it blended in well enough with his natural armor that he was pondering just discarding it later anyway), and a locket around his neck engraved with a ♂ on the front of it. He said nothing, but nodded.
	Actinidia: 	Actinidia found that none of her clothes fit. She didn't bring any of her expensive toys, but still had her phone and wallet (probably). Not waiting to confirm whether the phone worked or not, Actinidia would use a pillow case to gather all the little soaps and shampoo bottles from her room and exit.
	Actinidia: 	Also a towel and hand towel.
	Grace Leonhardt: 	"So uh... Question? Uh... where are we going?"
	Etna: 	Etna, meanwhile, has been trying to deal with the facts of life-changing crisis, murder, child-killers, and the fact that the building is probably on fire. A series of crises that she doesn't really have time for, and will have to keep dealing with them later. "Alright. Let's get going downstairs. I don't know if any of you are tall enough to see the windows still, but the outside looks kind of... orange and bright. Like fire? And I don't want to be on fire."
	Etna: 	"So we're going outside first."
	Actinidia: 	"We should find others. Like minded survivalists. We don't know what happened, how long it will remain or how far it spread." Actinidia allowed herself a little shrug, "We need food to eat, a place to eat it. Same as normal living. The only difference is we might need to defend ourselves from monsters."

	Actinidia: 	Actinidia hoisted her pillowcase bag over her shoulder and followed.

	Etna: 	"I believe I promised you knowledge of Pokemon, as a measure of trust. So. Pokemon have... I think it was 18 different aspects they can be attuned to, by their form, attuning to 2 at most. You are Bug/Poison, which means that you're strong against leafy enemies, weak against shiny metal ones, rocky ones, and those that wield fire."
	Etna: 	"As you might've noticed, you have access to a new form of energy, too. It can attune to any number of these apects, though there may be a limit based on your form as well."
	Actinidia: 	"You might be able to learn some kind of healing. I feel like the kind I know is tied more to me being a plant than me being green." Actinidia put some thought into it before she continued, "But there are many ways to help people heal, even without these kinds of techniques. If you find a box of bandages, cotton and other things, you can use them to cover wounds and help them heal."
	Abdua: 	Abdua takes a moment to memorize the quickly spat explanation, "Hm. So there are advantages and disadvantages based entirely on the makeup of our new forms? Which then influences our application? Interesting."
	Abdua: 	"We'll need to experiment then and find what is most effective. Surara, order the younger ones to experiment with applications and pass on the results."

	Etna: 	"Well, Bug and Fighting both resist each other's aspects. You might find others talking about these aspects in their more common term, Type. Not all humans will know about it, though."

	Jeenas: 	"Hopefully we'll still be around in the future. We're not the only ones fighting for control over this domain. But thus far, we've had the upper hand."

	Grace Leonhardt: 	"Heads up, there were uh... fire dogs up a few floors that you'd do poorly against on the typing matchup. Be careful with them."

	Abdua: 	"Oh, we're aware of those. We've killed most of them and forced them to retreat into the upper levels."
	Abdua: 	"Unlike us, however, they cannot cling to walls it seems. So that has been an advantage of ours."
	Etna: 	"The forms we used to wear. Tall, two-legged, with two limbs used to grab things. The term for that kind of being is Human."
	Abdua: 	Abdua chitters joyfully, "Flinging them from the domain with our thread has made easy work of most of them."
	Abdua: 	"Ah, the giants again? We were not allies almost half a sun ago."
	Etna: 	"Right."
	Abdua: 	"How funny that we would speak so friendly."
	Etna: 	"Times change. Humans define ourselves, if nothing else, by adaptability."
All the Spinarak chitter together, almost in laughter.
* Etna does her level best to shrug at the laughter.
	Actinidia: 	"Humans put a lot of value on speaking."
	Etna: 	"Times change. Circumstances change. I don't mind being humbled if it means my friends and I can survive."
	Abdua: 	"If the domain becomes solidly ours, you may return at a later date and find refuge. We will remember you for nearly 20 suns, that much I can promise. After that, we may forget."
	Grace Leonhardt: 	"Hey uh... do you have any idea about the kid that was upstairs by the way...?"
	Abdua: 	"Ked?" Abdua tilts her head.
	Etna: 	"Your memory, and lifespan, may be well increased. The nature of Pokemon in this regard is unknown. And Pokemon may have a limit to the applications they can learn for their energy." Etna bows her head respectfully.
	Actinidia: 	"I have a proposal, Lady Abdua. Perhaps one of your own could travel with us? Since you have such a strong hold on this domain, having one of yours traveling alongside us while we search around would give you access to all sorts of information. In addition, our perspective as former humans would give us an advantage on exploring and exploiting our former empire's technology."
	Etna: 	"Kid is a term for hatchlings and younglings."
	Actinidia: 	"And we would benefit from the extra protection of an additional companion."
	Grace Leonhardt: 	"Right, um... It was about ye tall, pink skin, wor clothing?"

	Abdua: 	"Kelothing? Hm, I am going to guess you're referring to a giant."

	Abdua: 	"Those that didn't turn seem to be the younger, more fragile ones. If any remained, they were likely hunted as prey by the others in the domain. We were not successful in capturing any ourselves. Many did flee the domain near the beginning."
	Abdua: 	"As for a compannion to follow and acquire knowledge outside the domain..." Abdua contemplates.
	Jeenas: 	"Oh! I'd like to go!"
	Pierce Mars Oswell: 	"Oh my god, that means there's a bunch of children running around outside... Oh my god..."
* Pierce Mars Oswell racked his head and shook it a bit in disbelief.
	Grace Leonhardt: 	Grace will hide her mouth behind her hands, and her ears reflexivly fold back. "Oh God..."
	Etna: 	"Yeah. We need to gather up supplies and get out there. Transformed or not, they're still kids and they're probably very scared right now."
	Abdua: 	"Denied. You are a male and must remain. I'll spare a female. Jeenas, go retrieve one of my youngest female descendents."

	Etna: 	"Huh. Convenient..." Etna noses through the contents of a pack, and pulls out some padding material that looks like it'd drape well over her body. She then tries to get it on firmly.
	Jeenas: 	Jeenas returns with an incredibly small Spinarak.
	Pierce Mars Oswell: 	"......I don't know either. But I can't save them if I don't do anything." His voice trailed off.
	Jeenas: 	"I found one!"
	Spinarak (Diminutive): 	Spinarak (Diminutive) looks around, "...Were we not ordered to capture the strange ones?"
	Abdua: 	Abdua facepalms as best a six-legged spider could, "Of all the..."

	Abdua: 	"Thus, as we learn from our interactions with these new friendlies, you're ordered to travel with them for at least 30 suns and then return."
	Pierce Mars Oswell: 	"I can carry all this; size is the issue. I'll be okay."

	Actinidia: 	Actinidia smiles. "I'll have her returned before 50 suns."
	Abdua: 	"Your tenacity will serve you well in your pursuit of knowledge. This may have been the best choice."
	Pierce Mars Oswell: 	"I wouldn't think lack of long-term memory is something you'd pride yourself on..."
	Etna: 	"Children seem to be the same no matter how they originate." Etna makes a final adjustment on the shield. "There you go, Pierce."
	Uraruren: 	"Tch, I have to follow your decree, mother." Uraruren looks around at everyone, "But that doesn't mean I have to like it! I may just come back early!"
	Abdua: 	"Come back without something useful and you'll be exiled. Don't fool yourself."
	Uraruren: 	"Ghh!" Uraruren cringes.
	Abdua: 	"Is this to your satisfaction, new friendlies?"
	Etna: 	"Yeah, I think this'll work out."
	Grace Leonhardt: 	"Uh... Y-Yeah, it should."
	Actinidia: 	Actinidia laughed, "Very much so. I look forward to our alliance"
