Umaru The Pirate! *featuring: Luluco and friends*

															Chapter one

Umaru rapidly clicked her mouse as she browsed the popular online game distribution site “Vapor”. Going from one game to another with one hand and taking an occasional sip of cola with the other. Umaru had a long weekend ahead of her and she needed the PERFECT game to spend it on!
	After a few minutes of browsing Umaru found a game that really caught her eye, Space Exploration Isolation. It was a single player game where you explore planets and galaxies while customizing your ship and space station. Umaru’s face lit up as she watched the trailer, this was definitely the game she was looking for.
	But soon her eyes started to water once she saw that the game was $40!
	“I don’t have that much money!” Umaru cried out, but she quickly composed herself. “It’s alright, plenty of other games here” She chuckled, and continued browsing.
	Umaru became devastated at what she saw. Game after game, the cool looking ones at least, were at least $20 or more! Umaru was gonna cry, she needed to find a way to pay for a game, one game, ANY game! And she knew there was only one way to do that.
	“ONI-CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!”
	Umaru’s older brother, Taihei, could hear Umaru screaming him as she rushed downstairs from her room. Hesitantly he asked her “What's-”
	“HEEEEEEEEEELP MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!” Taihei winced as his sister’s ear bleeding screech got closer and closer. Once she made it into the living room, Umaru quickly jumped into Taihei’s lap. Taihei looked at Umaru’s face and saw that she was at the verge of crying.
	“What’s wrong sister?” he asked uninterrupted.
	“W-well, there’s a game that I really Really wanna get-”
	“Of course it’s about a game, it’s ALWAYS about a game!” Taihei thought to himself.
	“Bu-but I don’t have enough money for it!” Umaru sniffed her nose “Please buy it for me Oni-chan! PLEASE!!!!!” she cried as a few tears ran down her face.
	Taihei could feel his ears ringing as if they were about to explode at any moment! The same feeling he had for 16 years! He couldn’t take it anymore, he was tired of the yelling and the screaming. So Taihei thought for a moment and told his sister:
	“Why don’t you just get it...For free?”
	“Fr-free?” Umaru’s face lit up again, could she really get these games for free?

														Chapter 2

Luluco couldn’t wait for Chief Over Justice to give them their next assignment. Luluco is a proud member of the Space Patrol, an intergalactic police force. The Ogikubo branch in Japan consisted of her, her best friend Midori and her love interest Nova.
	Midori and Nova were also waiting around in the station. Midori was checking her social media page from her phone, Nova was just standing around without a care in the world, as usual, and Luluco was nearby, trying to think of something interesting to talk about with him. Suddenly the alarm went off, Luluco and Nova were ready for their incoming orders. Midori stayed glued to her phone. The secretary rolled in Chief Over Justice and his signature desk.
	“Good, you kids are already here!” said the chief.
	“What is it sir,” asked Luluco,” was it some kind of burglary?”
	Over Justice’s flames grew a bit brighter,” No...”
	“Some kind of street gang causing trouble??”
	The chief’s flames got slightly bigger,” Worse…”
	Luluco gasped. “Some kind of evil multi-planetary tyrant is coming to Earth to enslave us all???”
	Nova let out a simple, “Oh dear…”
	“NO! Even worse!!” The chief’s flames grew even more intense, but the secretary was there to put it out before it smoked the room. Luluco was still terrified however, what could possibly be worse? “I called you three here to stop…”
 Luluco was shaking, Midori was starting to gain interest in what was happening, and Nova didn’t bother to move the strand of hair on his face, he didn’t mind.
“An internet pirate.”
 Luluco went hysterical and started screaming, until she realized what he said and gave a disappointed ”Oh”
Feeling a bit of pleasure in her friend’s disappointment, Midori curiously asked, “ So what exactly were they pirating? Movies, songs--?”
“VIDEO GAMES!” yelled the chief. The secretary had to put of the sudden flames again, but he continued,” The scum pirated that new game that came out!”
Nova was a bit confused, “Just one game? This sounds like a waste of our time Chief”
“Yeah what gives?” asked Midori.
“There’s no time to answer pointless questions! Pirating is illegal here, which makes this person a criminal! If we don’t stop them now who know what else they will do later!”
“But-”
“GOOOOOOO! For justice!!”
