  20. Size - kind of opinion
  21. Age - kind of opinion, and changes
  22. Shape - not opinion, but can change
  23. Condition - not opinion, but can change
  24. Color - not opinion, but can change
  25. Origin - can’t change
  26. Material - can’t change
  27. ---
  28. Remember: before any adjectives, we put determiners (quantifiers, possessives, articles)
  29. after adjectives, we put noun modifiers (for compound nouns)
  30. after all the adjective and noun modifiers, we put the head noun
  31. after the head noun, we put modifying (prepositional or participle) phrases
  32.

  34. the old broken TV sitting in the garage

  36. Participle modifiers = adjectives formed from the participles of verbs
  37. present participle: verb(ing) form - boring, interesting, surprising, tiring
  38. past participle: “third” form - bored, interested, surprised, tired

  40. Most of these are opinions, and some conditions (such as “broken”)
  41.  
  42. The boring teacher’s students don’t like him. They feel bored.
  43. The bored teacher doesn’t like his students. They are boring.

  45. The end of the movie was very surprising.
  46. I was surprised by the end of the movie.
