[12:34:04 ][Kain] You guys saved the Sun Shrine from being captured by a forward group from the Glutton's forces, assisted the elven armies fighting off the Qu at two different major battle sites, and defeated Reaper Jiub, though were unable to confirm the kill.
[12:34:20 ][Kain] You also gained a bit of insight to the nature of the adamantine soldiers the Glutton created.
[12:34:39 ][Kain] However... it seems he may have captured the shrine of Metal during the chaos of the battles.

[12:35:11 ][Kain] What he'll be able to do with that power and his solid Adamantine soldiers is unknown, but the thought certainly isn't nice.
[12:35:56 ][Kain] For now, the group has fallen back to the capital city Elvaana, to regroup and plan, take baths, and rest off the fights.
[12:36:30 ][Kain] Noah has parked the Stray just outside of the city and will be occupied for a while fixing the damages sustained.
[12:37:21 ][Kain] King Zephyr has returned to his throne room, now holding war council with those of his advisors that remain in the city - however, the council is open for any of you to enter if you wish.
[12:37:56 ]* Theta , for one, is enjoying a nice taco at the moment.  Though he was unaware the Glutton already had the Metal Shrine so is a bit less antsy than he should be.

[12:47:28 ][Kain] Zephyr's throne has moved closer to the center of the room, where it sits at a round table where a few of the shamans sit, along with some important-looking people you suppose are more mundane advisors. All pretense of playfulness has vanished from Zephyr's form as he looks over a map of the region on the table. Generals Beatrix and Steiner have joined you for the moment, as have Elizabeth,

However, they still have the Shrine of Wind, and that small quake that passed through might have been the Metal Shrine being activated. No visual confirmation of that's been made yet. We currently hold the capital and Tir na Antae, with
[12:53:09 ][King_Zephyr] no occupational forces in Tir na Dam, though it doesn't have much tactical advantage for them to take, either. We're currently sending people into Tir na Claidib, with little worry of there being interference due to our armies separating the Glutton's forces from it."

[13:05:18 ][Amaryllis] "How much advance warning will we have if he fields an army heading towards Tir na dam?"
[13:05:40 ][Amaryllis] "Do we have someone on a Beacon at all times to watch for movements from his side?"
[13:05:52 ][King_Zephyr] "Should be plenty. The fields are open around the wind shrine, there shouldn't be any way he could hide troop movements that way."

[13:06:16 ][Theta] "Either he's not showing his full hand...or, yes, he's an idiot.  Who can say?"
[13:06:50 ][Amaryllis] "I don't believe he has anywhere he can retreat to. Durandal was taken from him, and his allies are sky pirates, not nations or even cities."
[13:07:46 ][Lenore] "We've got to prepare for some kind of ace up his sleeve!  He's probably just trying to get us to lower our guards!"
[13:08:42 ][Amaryllis] "We cannot know what else he has yet to show, so our best move now is probably to secure the metal shrine while watching for further moves."
[13:09:04 ][Amaryllis] "If we could infiltrate his encampments and find out more, that would be ideal."
[13:12:32 ][King_Zephyr] Beatrix: "I'm not used to playing the waiting game in war. If you want to gather intel, that's fine, but I'd rather have an enemy in front of me. I'll go to this 'Metal Shrine' if need be."
[13:13:37 ][King_Zephyr] Steiner just politely keeps quiet after having his question answered by a shaman next to him.
[13:14:38 ][King_Zephyr] Zephyr convenes with an advisor at his side for a moment, frowning and obviously not liking what's being whispered to him. He shakes his head.
[13:16:33 ][Theta] "Can't really disagree about the Metal Shrine.  Given he is turning your people into golems made of metal...well."
[13:16:56 ][Theta] "It's pretty pertinent?"
[13:18:00 ]* King_Zephyr looks up. "One thing's clear, at least. We should probably go ahead and take the rest of the shrines available to us at the moment, and go for the maximum advantage possible. Recovering the metal and wind shrines are also a high priority."
[13:18:33 ][King_Zephyr] "And then after that... we just close in on him, yeah?"
[13:18:53 ][Theta] "Well, the sun was safe last I saw it, but we did evacuate the city...so..."
[13:19:21 ]* King_Zephyr nods. "Thank you for checking in on it."
[13:19:32 ][Amaryllis] "We have enough cities under our control to use the capital's weapon now, yes? Just how far can it fire?"
[13:20:07 ][Lenore] "Mmmm, I agree!  Getting as many shrines over them as possible would be a great advantage, and really at this point we can only get MORE of an advantage.  We need to stack our cards~!"
[13:20:38 ][King_Zephyr] "Anywhere within the no-fly radius of the capital. We actually just need to send a Wind Shaman to Dam to finish it, but with that defense up we won't have to worry about attacks on the capital at all."

[13:21:55 ][King_Zephyr] "Is there anyyyy other trump card this guy might have?"

[13:25:33 ]* Amaryllis frowns. "We shouldn't discount anything right now. If he grows desperate, he may corrupt her into a Dark Eidolon as well."
[13:26:30 ][King_Zephyr] Beatrix: "It's not wise to underestimate Atomos, especially if it's been augmented somehow. The damage we inflicted on Lindblum was..." she frowns, remembering the debacle.

[13:30:38 ][Amaryllis] "That is why I think while we take the offensive on the shrines we should also be seeking more information. What could you see of the defenses of the Glutton's bases through the Beacon? How is he moving in his supplies? Teleportation?"
[13:30:53 ][King_Zephyr] Steiner: "In any case... I humbly suggest leading an attack on both shrines at once. I'd be happy to lead forces against the Shrine of Wind. I have a little experience with wind shrines."
[13:33:30 ][King_Zephyr] "He seems to have been moving in supplies via those flying ships your people have. For Tir na Bind in particular, it doesn't -seem- that well defended, but he has a large number of troops stationed there. ...Both his own and of my people."

[13:50:09 ][King_Zephyr] "None, until we get people there. Caltris should be almost to the Lightning Shrine, but it'll take longer for the others to reach their respective places."
[13:50:22 ]* Amaryllis shrugs. "I would like to make arrangements to deal with the Glutton's supply line as soon as possible, but there should be time while we are waiting for Renegade to arrive."
[13:51:16 ][Amaryllis] "Even with teleportation and the faster chocobos? Well, in that case, what can we expect once the lightning shrine is taken?"
[13:51:25 ][King_Zephyr] "Lightning governs storms and electricity, Sun governs inner power and can enhance other shrines, especially Life and Metal. Stone could help create tunnels or reinforce the cities further against attack."

[14:17:30 ][King_Zephyr] Medly, the Shaman of Metal for the capital, Aspin, the Shaman of Sun for the capital, and Sorbet, the shaman of Life for the capital, have been following their king around on his orders, with Sorbet staying behind in Tir na Antae once the Life Shrine was activated.
[14:18:43 ][King_Zephyr] Elias, the Wind shaman of the capital, as well as the Stone and Lightning shamans here, whose names you don't know, were all here until recently. The Stone shaman was sent to the west just recently, as Zephyr mentioned. The Lightning Shaman here has remained.

We've taken most of the continent's cities and are well on the way to taking its shrines - sites of potent magical power. Either the Glutton has a trump card he's yet to show or he simply has nowhere he can retreat to now that Durandal is ours. But there is still the question of the supplies he has been bringing into the continent."

[16:58:16 ][Amaryllis] "Surely there's some way to monitor the paths taken by airships to the Revived Continent. The only ships flying that way are the Glutton's and ours."
[16:59:33 ][Cid] "I could have one of the ships in Durandal rerouted to patrol the suspected trade route and move to intercept - though that would leave Durandal slightly less defended."
[17:00:32 ][Amaryllis] "It would also clue him in. I had another idea. Do you suppose we could hire privateers or simply have merchant ships fly along part of the route?"
[17:01:11 ][Amaryllis] "They would have to be defended, of course, from sky pirates, but it wouldn't require anything more than normal security measures given that the Glutton needs his strongest forces on the continent itself."

There is a big chute going from the third floor all the way down to the ground floor, water going all down its length and feeding into a kiddie pool that's overflowing. Elena and Renegade seem to be arguing nearby.
