You gain a bonus to diplomatic and courtier actions, and the Ashikaga's favor gives you much leeway in your doings. However, if anyone happens to discover the well-buried truth of Katatake's deeds and ambitions, it would surely be ruinous. And, after all, it is not the best time to be an utterly loyal vassal to the Ashikaga…

- 1. This business with the Imagawa would be fortuitous, were we not in our current situation. Our resources are directed towards fighting the Inaba, and it would be foolish to pick a fight with the Imagawa, if we had a choice. However, it is not up to us. We are, at least to our peers, loyal servants of the Shogun, and we must behave as such. My proclaimation reads as follows: "It is the opinion of myself, Yamato Katatage, loyal servant of the Shogun, and my court, that the actions of the Imagawa are simply foolish. They are fools, if they refuse to give the Shogun the respect his office deserves, especially when to do so is so easy a thing. I would like to condemn this breach of etiquette, and request that the Imagawa apologize, and pay tribute to the Shogun."
- 2/3. On to the matter at hand. The Inaba forces are well-entrenched, and don't seem to be willing to move. This isn't of much concern to me. I can dislodge them from this position. First, I want all non-essential personnel to begin chopping branches off of trees, and killing birds to make simple arrows. Quality doesn't matter as much as quantity right now, and they needn't even have heads. These are for the archers to set alight, and fire into the enemy encampments. The fire will force them out,and they will have three options: Flee to the capital, yield, or fight. If they flee, we can take the camp as a fallback position, and loot the provisions. If they surrender, then the war is almost over as soon as it's begun. If they fight, we will almost certainly win. I have faith into tactics. [get the army into formation, and shoot simple fire arrows into the enemy camp to force them out.]
