  1. It is here, when time freezes. When the world's constant pulse would slowly become piano. There was no way to tell when everything would freeze over once more - when everything would suddenly vanish and all life as we know it, would be over. But that's the exact thing that she had been fighting against. The empire - the bettering of others. Is it possible for her to even do such a thing..? To overcome the odds of actually being weak and become something more? Something powerfully demanding that will never accept a "no" or an "I cant" as a way..?
  2.
  3. She is found within the middle of lake while the ice slowly spreads it's webbing across the surface. This place was going to be their battlefield - this place was going to be the one where she would be able to break the boundaries that held her down as a human. As someone with the most potential, but the strongest cap upon both strength and wisdom. It seemed to be quite daunting...But even she knew that she would make it..
  4.
  5. "Hey Erhard! You wanna spar? I've been working on something and I think that it would be pretty cool if you could help me with it." She had seen his surge. She had saw the things that he was able to do with it - and she was merely mimicking the process - becoming one with her element. Becoming lost within the tide of battle... "Come! If you lose, I'll take your sash!"
  6. (Jhené)
  7. There goes my heart again
  8.
  9.
  10. It was nothing more a bit into the abyss, where silks shaded like the autumn season would wrap around his figure and drag him deeper into the feeling of; Love. There might never be a limit to the things he'd do to ensure the lovers protection and with a victory securing his mind at ease. He felt unstoppable. As though anything were possible now, because of the nature of their relations. He was right to think this, that fighting for another; beside them. It made him stronger, to display his limits before her.
  11.
  12. His steps were subtle and quiet, the hammer slung around his back whilst his gauntlet would stay fashioned around his waist. A delightful illumination to the forest that peered beyond the lake to notice a single individual dancing upon the hardening surface. "Of course!" Cupping a handle into a circular shape as he shouted. Steps would become pit patters toward the surface of the lake.
  13.
  14. A gaze to look over the surface before attempting to take a step, "You're getting better at control as well. . . I can't wait to see what you've come up with." He mentioned. Her experience over the frozen arts was increasing and while being mostly a spectator towards her development. He always enjoyed the moments where he could aid her in more than shouts and pointing.
  15.
  16. "If you want my sash, all you must do is ask. . . My Queen.~" He teased before taking a few steps toward the center. His gaze shifted throughout the surface, though worry was little as he knew she was well trained. "I'll use this time to practice my, Eye as well."
  17. (Erhard Nevin)
  18. Maybe I love you a little too much. To risk it all. Even now, when she watched him barely win against Ulfdyr, she couldn't help but to bring a hand over her heart. She had realized that it would best learn how to control yourself and your power - otherwise you could become unrelentless and too powerful like Ulfdyr. She had known though, that if the wrath sin had been better with his aiming and timing, that her lover wouldn't have stood a chance. Not to mention the feeling that he had caused inside of her. The moment when wrath would reach within her mind and pull her closer to him. The moment, when she wanted to do nothing more than rip his throat out from where he stood. Ulfdyr was lucky that Jhene wasn't the opponent. He was lucky that she wasn't going to destroy him where he had fallen...But instead, she merely stayed quiet and restrained herself..
  19.
  20. "I've always had control...Erhard. It was my lack of control that would make me lose to people like you and the others. But now that I've learned a few things, I think I'll give you more of a challenge. " she adds while gently moving across the ice - appearing weightless. "Or maybe, I'll just beat you without you even touching me...Sounds pretty flawless, right..?" she murmurs while beginning to laugh lightly. Only to quirk an eyebrow at his next statement..
  21.
  22. "Mmn...How about this, Erhard. I want you to beat up someone who is pretty low and take their sash. I want to watch you do it ~ Is that good enough?" she adds while slamming her staff into the ice - creating cracks within it's surface. "Either way, enough talk...I-I'll need to warm up before I freeze to death."
  23. (Jhené)
  24. Reaching for the mighty weapon he used to battle against the sin, a quick action would send an edge of the mallet against the hardened surface, cracks forming in its wake. Lips postured into a smile as they parted with words mixed in emotion. "Oh, is this what my queen wants? Well, as your servant-king. I'll have to decline. . ." Raising the mighty weapon up to point in her general direction. "You'll be fighting for your -own- sashes. My queen. Prove to your people you too can be a star in the night." He'd tease with growing eager to witness the ace in the hole she'd been practicing.
  25.
  26. "Let me show you, Jhene. . . What'll come in the future. Look into my. . . Eye." Exhaling to see white clouds replacing the emptiness of his breath. Quietly the gatherings of mana would gather within. His body beginning to glow a faint ivory sense. Tightening his gaze as he processed the mana through his body.
  27.
  28. <i><center><font color=grey>"Let my future be seen, let the quiet come. . . I. . . Am. . . The storm!"</font></center></i> His chant would bellow before emerald hues would open whilst electrical mana would ignite into a singular space meters above his head. At first a small ball before growing, lengthening before eventually. . . An eye would give shape. It blinked towards her direction before small electrical strings would connect with Erhards form.
  29.
  30. "This is my final technique. . . Eye of the storm!" He'd shout, leaping forward as he felt the mana channeling to and fro and he'd cascade her within the evergreen glow of his electrical might.
  31. (Erhard Nevin)
  32. His focus driven to perfect his technique, his movements were swift as he leapt around the lake with hammer grasped tightly within his hand. "Oh really!? All of them!" His voice loud enough to be heard as he bellowed laughter within his deep voice. Growing, maturing was what this young adult had done. His third-eye would blind rapidly with each blow landed against him at times it seemed to distort upon heavier hits that sent him back.
  33.
  34. "M-man, jhene has gotten stronger." He thought to himself, remembering her words throughout the process of their relationship. One day. . .That day might be sooner than expected, but Joyce when occurring. "You'll be getting the best treatment I can supply you, once I beat you up!" He shouted, lips parting to unveil his pearly whites. The woman before him might be soon adding another topic to her many titles given; rival. Yes, such a thing could be labeled if her powers would increase, her technique was something devastating as her magical prowess flung him back repeatedly.
  35.
  36. Yet, he still found the superior edge. His magical affinities gifted to empower him with the eye of the storm, though incomplete, he could near feel her attacks coming closer, though fully wasn't the world he could describe when dodging. Upon a single leap forward, he dropped his weight and swiped his foot out, sending her flat on her back as he looked down to her.
  37.
  38. "Your improving, love. . . Now rise as my queen and -make- me fight for your sashes!"
  39. (Erhard Nevin)
  40. Ping!
  41.
  42. The first attack is always the one that hurts the most. The hammer that strikes her easily shatters the barricade of ice that she had put around her form to soften the blow. But instead - there was nothing more than her hurting, her body being flung back, leaving nothing more than a trail of wispy energy within her wake. Her vision seemed to quickly tunnel then - the winds moving around her form, forcing trees and life around to suddenly being pulled back, leaving her, the frozen lake, and Erhard alone.. "E-erhard.." She holds upon her side, her teeth beginning to grit, grinding into each other as she picks herself off of the earthen floor..
  43.
  44. "I'll be sure to give you the best treatment that I can...Erhard." she murmurs. There would be nothing more than anger while ice would suddenly expand from her form. I can't lose..I-I can't lose anymore. Need more power. Need more.. The first sign of the new form would be nothing more than a icy halo that floats above her features - radiating with pure energy and ice while numbing all the pain that echoed through her limbs...Inflcting much more damage on herself than she thought, due to her not being able to control it well. But regardless, with the lack of speed...She was sure that she would make up for it within power..
  45.
  46. "Come to me~ please.." Almost as if she were begging to have another chance.
  47. (Jhené)
  48. The will to push forward when no one else would dare is what drove him so fond of her to begin with. Her desires to seek things anew and experience all the world had to offer. With their 'spar' his thoughts would course with what might become of her in the future. Would all her efforts pay off and bear fruit to something entirely new? Regardless, as he watched the gathering of her affinities shape into something anew. "T-that's amazing." He mumbled to himself. His gaze would close and through the third-eye would he witness the transformation through shades of mana, essence of life flowing collectively to her form.
  49.
  50. A sixth-sense that granted him much more than he expected. To become one with your mana, this was the symbolic nature to his storm; though not mastered in the sense of becoming an elemental he shared a few traits. "I'll be right there, love." He whispered, returning a sharp emerald glare as jewels would shine from the release of energy that busted from his form. The eye above his head would begin to channel the rest of its energy and dissipate from his figure, but what it would grant would be a burst of speed as he lunged forward.
  51.
  52. "I'll finish this; you're still rough around the edges!" He shouted as he dropped his hammer and a single limb would cock back only to release blow after blow against her form. Yet pulling back only to release the high density mana that sent numbing sensation throughout her form. Each shot that looked clean would only endow her body and restrict her movements.
  53.
  54. Eventually, she'd become frozen in place. Like a work of art.
  55.
  56. "I call this. . . Tempest Bite. Releasing the rest of my mana granted from the eye I can halt my enemy completely through continuous charge of electrical mana. It'll take a bit for it wear off." Explaining the move as he circled around her form, like an animal waiting to strike its meal.
  57.
  58. Eventually he was forced to sit and gather his mana once more, the eye's fatal condition was its bolster to contain his mana, but leave him dry once it's all over. "You did great, my queen. . . You can sit with me when you're all good." He'd mumble, closing his gaze as he meditated for his collection of mana.
  59. (Erhard Nevin)
