  1. Introduction: This team is made around Mega-Gardevoir, seemed like a fun mega to build around. The team lures Pokemon that threaten Gardevoir so she can make better use of her wallbreaking abilities.
  2. The team: Gardevoir-Mega/Heatran/Rotom-Wash/Amoonguss/Tyranitar/Latias
  3. Teambuilding process:
  4. [Gardevoir]
  5. Gard is the mon the team is built around. Gr8 wallbreaker etc. etc.
  6.
  7. [Gardevoir +Heatran]
  8. Added Heatran because it helps with the steels that Garde has problems with, resist both of her STABs (Ferro, Rachi, Skarm, Sciz, Bronzong). Also provides stealth rocks. The combination of Taunt + Toxic + Rocks from these two give stall trouble. Meaning you have to keep Gardevoir healthy.
  9. [Gardevoir Heatran + Rotom]
  10. Added Rotom bc these 2 lose to ground stuff and an immunity to ground is appreciated. I also needed a physical wall. First member of my defensive core. Also works with Garde since volt switch allows me to bring her in safely.
  11. [Gardevoir Heatran Rotom-Wash + Amoonguss]
  12. Ok, so I had one water type and a fire type, added Amoonguss to complete the F/W/G core. Amoonguss is my specially defensive wall that does pair up well w/ Rotom and also a status absorber.
  13. [Gardevoir Heatran Rotom-W Amoonguss + Heatran]
  14. Team needed more speed and a physical hitter. Scarftar adds more offensive pressure & speed to the team and also does well against offensive threats. (1v1)
  15. [Gardevoir Heatran Rotom-W Amoonguss Tyranitar + Latias]
  16. Finally, added Latias for defog support, crucial for balance teams and also healing wish support, allows me to bring Garde back to full, since most of the times, it is my wincon.
