  1. Mantis received both a rework and a buff at the same time, and a bit of a change up.
  2. Stat array is now 4+ dex, -2 int (Previously con, bugs are pretty hardy!)
  3. Additionally, a Mantis can ignore 10 feet of falling before taking damage (previously was on permenent feather fall) (Assumed that mostly this was because Mantises can fly, albeit, a bit clumsy) Gains a (yet undetermined) bonus to acrobats

  5. A mantis will receive an encumbered penalty for wearing armor unless specifically designed for it. (She already has +2 nat armor and high dexterity, and that big booty thorax will get in the way)

  7. Mantises will recive a -6 penalty to hit for using manufactured weapons unless specifically crafted for them. (already great scythes)

  9. Burst of Speed
  10. This one was weird to work with, on paper it's a cute thought, until you look deeper it becomes very...unusable.

  12. Once a day, a Mantis may activate Burst of Speed to gain +30 base speed for one round, Ignore difficult terrain, a bonus to flight checks, and +2 to all attack rolls. (Previously had: Flight (Poor) for one round)

  14. Granting Fly with poor maneuverability for 1 round / 5 seconds is weird. 5 seconds of flight where you need to make a high DC fly check to pull it off. Having free move and some bonus to acrobats to move around work with it to help make this ability more usable.
