- Side Session Begin
- =====================================
- It has been only a half hour since the group decided to turn in for the night. Most of the ponies were now asleep, as well as all the villagers, except for the night watch.
- Dirge is trying to get comfortable, having to use the thin mat that he had. Fucking Egg, how did zebras sleep like this? They were bony enough as it is, how can they handle sleeping on thin layers of...was this bamboo?
- [4/4/2014 11:14:58 PM] Punished Snake: Dirge for some time heard Aark's muffled, distant voice converse with Darlings own.
- [4/4/2014 11:15:20 PM] Punished Snake: Untill, after some time, the odd due must have settled down.
- [4/4/2014 11:16:59 PM] Dusk: Dirge turns his head away from the door, lying on his side to try and sleep. His wing was a bit stiff, but it wasn't the reason he was finding trouble sleeping. He knew he almost lost it, back when they were fighting the boars. He had no reason to do...that.
- [4/4/2014 11:20:04 PM] Punished Snake: Shuffling is heard outside of his tent after more than an hour.
- [4/4/2014 11:21:53 PM] Dusk: Dirge is now finally asleep. It had taken awhile, and some thoughts of home, but his mind was finally clear. He snores rather...oddly. More like a growling of a beast rather than snoring.
- [4/4/2014 11:29:57 PM] Punished Snake: Darling meanwhile has dared to leave the spot she was told to sleep. She walks through the vilage, very quietly, conflicted. She had trouble sleeping, having had a almost-fight with Aark, but she's racked with guilt that she so much has gotten up and left without telling him...
- [4/4/2014 11:32:35 PM] Dusk: Dirge snorts softly in his sleep, his talon twitching as he rolls over to..."Gah!" He snaps awake, feeling a slight twinge in his wing. "Stupid fucking...verdammt..." He shakes his head, trying to find that peaceful slumber he was just enjoying.
- [4/4/2014 11:36:31 PM] Punished Snake: This shout makes Darling jump.
- [4/4/2014 11:36:37 PM] Punished Snake: "Huh?"
- [4/4/2014 11:37:42 PM] Dusk: Dirge grumbles to himself. This was going to be a long night, if this keeps up. He looks up to the cieling, trying to will himself into a slumber. "Damn...been a crazy night..."
- [4/4/2014 11:41:29 PM] Punished Snake: "Misser....Dirge..?"
- [4/4/2014 11:42:06 PM] Dusk: "Hm?" Dirge turns his head over to the door of the hut. "Darlin? What are you doing up so late, Fohlen?"
- [4/4/2014 11:47:46 PM] Punished Snake: "Whassat word mean?"
- [4/4/2014 11:48:27 PM] Punished Snake: "Oh, and uhm.." She nervously shuffles. "I couldent sleep.. I was a little upset with pap-... Aark."
- [4/4/2014 11:50:46 PM] Dusk: Dirge sighs as he slowly gets up from his mat. "Like I told you once, it means 'foal.' And...I see what you mean. Aark...he can be a bit of...a stubborn pony." He wanted to say something else, but fatherly instincts kicked in.
- [4/4/2014 11:52:00 PM] Punished Snake: She shuffles uncomfortably, looking equal parts nervous, gulty, and scared of repercussions. "I should.....Go back.... Before he wakes up..."
- [4/4/2014 11:54:56 PM] Dusk: Dirge shakes his head solemnly. "He was tired when we came in. Stressed, wanting booze and chems. Not to mention...he's not feeling too well, I imagine."
- [4/4/2014 11:57:23 PM] Punished Snake: She shuffles in place. "No. He's been on edge....But still...I shouldn't be talking to you.."
- [4/4/2014 11:59:50 PM] Dusk: Dirge shrugs as he lies back down. "What is he going to do to you? Yell at you, because he's got nothing better to do? Look, he may try and care for you, but he has a lot to learn as a father-figure."
- [4/5/2014 12:01:33 AM] Punished Snake: She looks to his direction. "He's not my father.. He makes....that clear.."
- [4/5/2014 12:03:03 AM] Punished Snake: "He says he's 'Not here to coddle anypony' and that 'He cant be what I want him to be..' He's....just like that."
- [4/5/2014 12:06:43 AM] Dusk: "Then..." Dirge mulls over what he is about to say. The last thing he wants is the two of them to turn on each other. "Darlin, he may not coddle you, but he is looking out for your safety, in his own way. A bit gruff about it, but he does seem to care about you." A faint smile creeps across his face. "If he gives you too much lip about something, just stand your ground. And if he hits you...I'll hit him back."
- [4/5/2014 12:09:17 AM] Punished Snake: "Huh?" She tilts her head.
- [4/5/2014 12:10:21 AM] Punished Snake: "Hits me? Like before we got on the boat?"
- [4/5/2014 12:10:51 AM] Dusk: "Wait...he what??" Dirge stiffens up slightly. How did he miss this?
- [4/5/2014 12:12:32 AM] Punished Snake: She just looks a bit confused. "What's stand your ground mean?" She is still a younger filly, some things she understands differently, or not at all.
- [4/5/2014 12:14:53 AM] Dusk: "Hmmm...it means that if he tries to be mean to you, then you don't let him get away with it. Tell him, very firmly, that what he is doing is making you sad, and that you don't like it. If he tells you to do something that you really don't want to do, then tell him you don't want to, and ask why."
- [4/5/2014 12:15:48 AM] Punished Snake: "Oh.....no....things dont work like that.."
- [4/5/2014 12:15:51 AM] Punished Snake: "He says."
- [4/5/2014 12:18:38 AM] Punished Snake: She looks nervous again. "I shoulden't be talking to you.....I'm supposed to hit you with this if you try talking to me 'bout stuff like this.."
- She holds up a stun baton.
- [4/5/2014 12:19:16 AM] Dusk: "Heh...you think that's a good idea? He sounds paranoid, Darlin. And you shouldn't suffer for it."
- [4/5/2014 12:21:41 AM] Punished Snake: "..." She looks like she has NO idea what to do.
- [4/5/2014 12:25:14 AM] Dusk: "Hmm..." Dirge sighs, opening up his good wing to preen it. "You're here for a reason, Darlin. You may not know it, yourself, but something made you want to get up." He then shuts his wing again. "Look...you're welcome to stay and talk. About anything you want."
- [4/5/2014 12:26:22 AM] Punished Snake: "..."
- [4/5/2014 12:27:16 AM] Dusk: "Just going to stand there? You might as well take a seat, fohlen."
- [4/5/2014 12:29:08 AM] Punished Snake: "Uhm.. O- Okay.. I guess....But- I really shouldn't..."
- [4/5/2014 12:32:05 AM] Dusk: "Why? Because Aark said so?" Dirge laughs softly, offering his left wing for the filly to snuggle into. "I know that look, Darlin."
- [4/5/2014 12:35:38 AM | Edited 12:36:46 AM] Punished Snake: "You do? But, he's been tking care of me for a long long time now. And, he says it's the rules and precations that have kept us alive and together."
- [4/5/2014 12:40:23 AM] Dusk: "Keeping you alive, and raising you, are two very different things. He needs to teach you things, how to behave, and..." He mentally faceclaws. Aark was the last pony she needed to take life lessons from.
- [4/5/2014 12:41:37 AM] Punished Snake: "...I'm cold.." She sivvers a bit in the brisk nigt air.
- [4/5/2014 12:42:39 AM] Dusk: Dirge nods as he keeps his wing open. "I'm not going to bite, Darlin."
- [4/5/2014 12:44:14 AM] Punished Snake: "You're a little scary......But so is Aark when he get mad." She walks into his wing, craving the psycial affections any young pony needs to grow.
- [4/5/2014 12:47:36 AM] Dusk: Dirge sighs as he lets his wing curl about the filly, letting her snuggle into the warm feathers. "Most ponies think we're scary. It's a part of life for me."
- [4/5/2014 12:49:10 AM] Punished Snake: "That's what Aark says. That if he's scary, Ponies will leave us alone."
- [4/5/2014 12:51:18 AM] Dusk: "Ah, but I don't try to be scary. It just happens." The griffon then looks down at Darlin, smiling warmly. "I never liked it when young ones run away, thinking I'm after them."
- [4/5/2014 12:56:19 AM] Punished Snake: "I'm not scared!"
- [4/5/2014 12:58:03 AM] Dusk: "Then you're a very brave filly." Dirge chortles, hugging Darlin closer and starting to purr. This was just what he needed, a fond reminder of his own daughter, back home.
- [4/5/2014 12:59:27 AM] Punished Snake: She jolts a bit, and seems stiff, as if unused to being touched.
- [4/5/2014 1:01:10 AM] Dusk: "Easy, now. I'm not going to hurt you." Dirge then shifts his wing about, making sure Darlin had only her head poking out of his massive wing. "There is no reason for me to hurt you."
- [4/5/2014 1:03:51 AM] Punished Snake: "I.. I know, because we're on the same team.." Her unused to this may be because of how unannative Aark must be.
- [4/5/2014 1:04:49 AM] Dusk: "Even if you weren't, I wouldnt have hurt you. It's not something a good griffon would do."
- [4/5/2014 1:06:27 AM] Punished Snake: "But, I've seen a r- REALLY bad Gryphon, a really scary one! He was hunting us for almost a year.."
- [4/5/2014 1:07:33 AM] Dusk: "Any reason why he was hunting you both? And are you sure it wasn't just for...Aark?"
- [4/5/2014 1:13:24 AM] Punished Snake: "Aark says that's just the way everyone is. That's why we have to stay away from them... Becuse I'm something different."
- [4/5/2014 1:15:11 AM] Dusk: "Hrrmmm..." Dirge takes a moment to chew on these thoughts. "You mean like all the mean ponies, who only want to hurt others?"
- [4/5/2014 1:18:32 AM] Punished Snake: "Aark says we stay away from everyone, because it's 'Me and him against the world.' And that 'the world is nothing but rot.'.."
- [4/5/2014 1:19:38 AM] Dusk: "Heh...he has a point. The world isn't a very nice place. But I know from experience that not everything in it is bad. Just a very big part of it."
- [4/5/2014 1:21:03 AM] Punished Snake: She shrugs. "He dosent like when I ask about others... I just wanna see more ponies my age! I just want filly and colt friends, I can talk to and play with..."
- [4/5/2014 1:22:34 AM] Punished Snake: "One time, we was walking through a town, and I saw a little colt... Maybe younger than me, he was all beatded up, and real thin from starving...... I wanted to take him with us.. But Aark said no..."
- [4/5/2014 1:22:37 AM] Dusk: "The let him know. Aark is wrong about keeping you away from all other ponies. If I had the chance, I..." He sighs; no harm in telling her. "I would have gladly let you play with my daughter."
- [4/5/2014 1:23:16 AM] Punished Snake: "I begged him and begged him, but he yelled at me, and said he's not here to save lives... Just, to watch out for me.."
- [4/5/2014 1:24:12 AM] Punished Snake: Then she blinks, and looks around, expecting to see her. "You have a dough- dauu- a filly??"
- [4/5/2014 1:25:17 AM] Dusk: Dirge shakes his head in disbelief. "I don't know what to say about that, Darlin. It isn't what a...well, a fairly normal pony would do."
- [4/5/2014 1:29:54 AM] Punished Snake: "Aark says we stay together, and that's all that matters."
- [4/5/2014 1:32:01 AM] Dusk: Dirge sighs. This poor filly, she's ben through a lot, it seems. "He sounds like he has a one-track mind. What was it like, before you met him?"
- [4/5/2014 1:40:59 AM] Punished Snake: "I don't remember much, I was real little..."
- [4/5/2014 1:41:22 AM] Punished Snake: "I think.....I remember a blue sky somewhere, and a song...."
- [4/5/2014 1:41:38 AM] Punished Snake: "But that's silly.... The sky isn't blue..."
- [4/5/2014 1:42:20 AM] Dusk: "A song...what kind of song?"
- [4/5/2014 1:43:59 AM] Punished Snake: She pauses, and hums a tune, the tune becomes soft words, sadly sung: "....You are my sunshine~
- My only sunshine~
- You make me happy, when skies are grey...
- You'll never know, dear, how much I love you~"
- [4/5/2014 1:44:20 AM] Punished Snake: "So please, don't take, my sunshine away.."
- [4/5/2014 1:47:12 AM] Dusk: "..." Dirge just sits there, keeping Darlin close as he looks ahead. The emotion...it struck a chord in his heart.
- [4/5/2014 1:47:48 AM] Punished Snake: The last verse is more spoken than sang, as she ends her melancholy song.
- [4/5/2014 1:50:21 AM] Dusk: "Darlin..." Dirge leans closer to the filly, keeping his wing about her. "Who taught you this song?" He already had an idea, but he wanted to make sure.
- [4/5/2014 1:51:59 AM] Punished Snake: "I dunno. I known it ever since I was really, really little.. And I don't remember so good from--"
- She yawns. Big 'ol yawn.
- [4/5/2014 1:54:11 AM] Dusk: Dirge nods as he raises his talon to place it over her head. "It's late for you. You should get some rest." He then leans back, taking Darlin with him as he settles onto his mat.
- [4/5/2014 1:56:19 AM] Punished Snake: She has another yawn, but then she shakes her head. "Shouldn't I.. Go back with Pap- Aark? He says I'm not ever supposed to leave his side unless he says.."
- [4/5/2014 1:58:15 AM] Dusk: "You're already disobeying him. And all he can do is yell at you. Which he shouldn't. And if you need someone to help you talk to him...you have a big, scary griffon at your side."
- [4/5/2014 1:59:55 AM] Punished Snake: "I dunno..." She sounds hesitant. "I supposed to zap anyone who says to leave from him. Because were supposed to be together.."
- [4/5/2014 2:03:31 AM] Dusk: "I'm not telling you to leave him. I'm saying that you're a big enough filly to make choices on your own. And...you wouldn't zap me, would you?"
- [4/5/2014 2:04:03 AM] Punished Snake: "I dunno... I don't think so.."
- [4/5/2014 2:04:25 AM] Punished Snake: ((Falling asleep...let's finish this tommrow.)
- [4/5/2014 2:04:48 AM] Dusk: (Okay)
- [4/5/2014 8:46:19 AM] Punished Snake: Again, she shuffles a bit. "Why do... You keep wanting me to.... go against him..?"
- [4/5/2014 8:47:26 AM] Dusk: "Because, he can't protect you forever. And what will happen to you when he can't?"
- [4/5/2014 8:48:14 AM] Punished Snake: Her eyes widen, and she shakes free of Dirge. "I- I . . Should go.."
- [4/5/2014 8:50:58 AM] Dusk: "Hmph...alright, then..." Dirge frowns as he unfurls his wing. He knew he struck a nerve, but the filly needed to know about reality. "And Darlin? I'm not asking you to turn against him. I'm asking you to take into consideration your own desires."
- [4/5/2014 8:53:51 AM] Punished Snake: "No- You're.. Telling me weird, scary things.. You sound just like Aark warned me about.... He always said.. folks would try and take me away from him! This is JUST like he said!"
- [4/5/2014 8:56:58 AM] Punished Snake: Her eyes widen again. "It's JUST like he said!"
- [4/5/2014 8:57:28 AM] Dusk: "Ehehehe...ahahaaha!!!" Dirge couldn't help himself, and he starts to burst out laughing. Yes, he felt bad for Darlin, but...wow, Aark was a bit more paranoid than he thought. "Oh, this is...ehehe...I'm sorry, Darlin. That's the dumbest thing I heard in awhile..."
- [4/5/2014 9:01:37 AM] Punished Snake: She looks nervous, almost scared of Dirge's laughng. Ears lain back, she ducks down a bit.
- [4/5/2014 9:04:23 AM] Dusk: Finally, the griffon settles down, his derision soon replaced by pity. "You're a good kid, Darlin. And I really hope that the both of you enjoy your lives together. It's just...there may be a time when Aark can't protect you, anymore. It could be over the years, it could be next week." He knows that this is going to hurt, but...she needs to know.
- [4/5/2014 9:06:46 AM] Punished Snake: She looks at her hooves. "He told me once.. He said I have to be tough for 'the day I'll walk alone.' He says things won't get easier, or better... But he did say ponies wont like that we're together. He said towns, lawponies, or other folks will try and take me away..."
- She's settleing down a little, but looks a bit upset. A few tears start to accumulate.
- [4/5/2014 9:11:23 AM] Dusk: Dirge looks a bit forlorn, leaning over to wipe her tears away with a claw. "Please...don't be sad, Darlin. You're not in Equestria, anymore. Nobody here wants to take you away from him. I certainly don't want to do that. It's just...you're going to need to prepare for that day, by being a bit more independant. And that doesn't mean you have to leave him, got it? He...verdammt, he needs you, Darlin."
- [4/5/2014 9:21:28 AM] Punished Snake: "I guess.... I just... I don't know.."
- [4/5/2014 9:23:31 AM] Punished Snake: "Sometimes I think I--
- Aark throws open the door to the hut, weapons trained on Dirge. "Get away from her, NOW, 'fore I scatter yer skull across the inside a this place. Darlin. Here, now."
- [4/5/2014 9:25:12 AM] Punished Snake: Darling looks wide eyed. "S- Sorry, A- Aark, I ju-"
- "Now."
- She dashes over to stand in Aarks shadow, as he aims his rifles at Dirge.
- [4/5/2014 9:27:13 AM] Dusk: Dirge growls as he keeps his talon up in the air. Aark had the drop on him, and the last thing the village needed was a murder on their hooves. "The griffon that was after you. Was he a merc, just like me?"
- [4/5/2014 9:30:45 AM] Punished Snake: Aark talks through grit teeth. "Shut the fuck up. I see you around Darling again, things are gonna get fuckin' ugly. I make that clear? You stay away from her, don't look at her. Some'un tells you to do something regarding her you just say you don't wanna, tell ME. Are we clear?"
- Darling looks nervous, and a little guilty, and VERY tired.
- [4/5/2014 9:36:09 AM] Dusk: Dirge curls his lips in a frown, his arm still up. "You really think this is the best way to raise her?" It was obvious he wasn't going to answer the question. "You're being overly protective, and she's suffering for it. I'll make sure that nothing bad happens to her, but you need to give her some room, before you drive her away, yourself."
- [4/5/2014 9:40:58 AM] Punished Snake: Aark spits at Dirge's feet. "Yer brain is cooked 'side yer skull.. You dun' unnerstand how things work..."
- [4/5/2014 9:41:30 AM] Punished Snake: "Darlin'. Back t' camp."
- "But Aark I- He.."
- "NOW."
- [4/5/2014 9:41:57 AM] Punished Snake: Darlings ears go back, and she slumps, walking back to camp, looking rather upset.
- [4/5/2014 9:42:20 AM] Punished Snake: This whole time, Aark has not taken eyes, or weapon aim off of Dirge.
- [4/5/2014 9:45:30 AM] Dusk: "Are you done holding me up, AarK? Because I'm getting tired of keeping my damned arm up." Dirge grumbles under his breath. "And I understand just fine. You two are on the run, from something, I don't know what. I don't care. You do need to understand something, though. She is a foal, which means she has needs, which you aren't providing."
- [4/5/2014 9:48:13 AM] Punished Snake: He sighs. The bird had a pont. This wasn't a hold-up. The guns from the battle saddle go down. "And no. Y' dun' unnerstan'.."
- [4/5/2014 9:48:58 AM] Punished Snake: "I ain't askin' ya to. We don't need pity, or your blessings. I just need you not t' fuck with 'er head.. She's impressionable."
- [4/5/2014 9:51:26 AM] Dusk: "And I'm saying, as a father, that she needs a guide and a father-figure, if she wants to last as a mare. And no, I'm not giving you pity, I'm giving you some advice."
- [4/5/2014 9:51:51 AM] Dusk: (Back in a bit, go ahead and post)
- [4/5/2014 9:55:41 AM] Punished Snake: "I dun' need advice, eggshell.. ah am keepin' 'er ALIVE. an' SAFE. Tha's tha'. An' it's been hard enough over our time. You may see overly-protective, I see 'effective' Our rules, our way of doin' shit has kept us alive. Sumtimes just barely...JUST barely."
- [4/5/2014 10:06:18 AM] Dusk: "I understand, Aark. You want to keep her safe, and for that...you're doing a great job." Dirge is now relaxing a bit, his back pressed against the mud wall. "You mind if I ask what you're running from? Must have pissed off a lot of ponies to have them chase you over the years."
- [4/5/2014 10:08:21 AM] Punished Snake: He lights a cigarette, and exhales a ring of smoke, looking at the puff. "Why're ya assumin' we're runnin?"
- [4/5/2014 10:09:48 AM] Dusk: "A griffon was after you two, for over a year. My guess is, someone put a bounty on your head. Slavers don't chase one pair for that long, and raiders...well, not sure what his motivation was, apart from caps."
- [4/5/2014 10:10:40 AM] Punished Snake: "Gryphon..? Oh. Him. Heh. Almost f'got about him."
- [4/5/2014 10:11:31 AM | Edited 10:11:39 AM] Punished Snake: "Dun' worry about him... Removed his beak with a trenchgun, with th' resta his face too."
- [4/5/2014 10:11:54 AM] Punished Snake: Another exhale of smoke.
- [4/5/2014 10:14:34 AM] Dusk: "Still, it sounded like you two are are always running from something. Trying to stay safe, leaving colts behind to die, that sort of thing." Dirge is no longer defensive, and he idly taps a claw on the mat.
- [4/5/2014 10:17:55 AM] Punished Snake: "Sometime's runnin'. Always surviving.. Y' haven't spent much real time in th' wastland, have ya? As ah said, we ain't ALWAYS runnin'.....But it's always a fight t' survive. Always movin'. Always thinkin'. Where's the next meal comin from? Were we lay our head down? How we get past a town? What do I tell her when she.....asks questions? always thinkin'. Always movin'. Gotta keep shootin', keep killin'... Jus' t' keep livin' another day."
- [4/5/2014 10:20:15 AM] Punished Snake: "....And I see she brought up tha' fuckin' colt again... She can't go a few weeks without remindin' me. Don't try an' guilt trip me, hotwing. It won't work.."
- [4/5/2014 10:23:38 AM] Dusk: "Wasn't my intent, Aark. She just mentioned it, that's all." Dirge shrugs to himself. "I've spent plenty of time in the wastes, just not to simply survive. I'm always hunting, finding my mark to get caps for my family. Problem is..." He motions to his stump of a right arm. "I'm a wounded bird. even if I can fight, boss can't take me back as a mercenary, not when there are others more than willing to take my place."
- [4/5/2014 10:24:24 AM | Edited 10:25:32 AM] Punished Snake: "Mercs are a dime a dozen. Filthy work. Lowlife work."
- [4/5/2014 10:27:37 AM] Dusk: "They always say that, up to the point where they offer up a sackful of caps to see someone dead." Dirge seems oddly calm at the insinuated insult. "Then...we're a tool. A bloodied tool, that demands ink, blood, and caps."
- [4/5/2014 10:28:31 AM] Punished Snake: He spits on the ground, althouh not at Dirge's feet.
- [4/5/2014 10:30:16 AM | Edited 10:30:22 AM] Punished Snake: "It's a shit way 't make a livin'. Blood fer caps." But then he makes eye contact with Dirge. "But ah was always more used to blood for blood, violence an' slaughter... Dancin' at the dusk of th' apoclaypse.." Aarks way of dropping a hint at his old 'career'.
- [4/5/2014 10:37:36 AM] Dusk: "We have our ways to survive, Aark. It isn't pretty, but it keeps us alive." Dirge ponders for a moment. "Sounded like you were a part of a family, a very violent one. Heh...dancing at the dusk of the apocalypse. I'll have to remember that one."
- [4/5/2014 10:39:03 AM] Punished Snake: "It wasn't a family. They were a source of violent, an' oft sexual entertainment. Hard booze, bad chems and.. Well. At the time? Fun."
- [4/5/2014 10:42:09 AM] Dusk: "Then they were raiders. Or some sort of deviant group." Dirge smirks, but not at Aark. "They were the bread and butter of my paydays. To steal a phrase from you, a dime a dozen."
- [4/5/2014 10:45:49 AM] Punished Snake: "C'n says the same. We got most of out weapons an' gear from mercs who thought we'd be easy pickin's.. Mercs who think they're tuff."
- [4/5/2014 10:46:48 AM] Punished Snake: "An' yeah.. Some called us raiders. But not like we had a name get it..... Remember the village of Gale? Pegasus settlement? Er- used to be.."
- [4/5/2014 10:47:36 AM] Dusk: "Yeah, we get a lot of those. Think they're invincible because they got a good gun and a nice set of armor." Dirge pauses as he listens to the preamble of a story. "Yeah...a little bit. They got hit, hard."
- [4/5/2014 10:49:05 AM] Punished Snake: "That was us.. My idea." This is said.... Starkly, with a rugged, hard-to-read voice.
- [4/5/2014 10:51:46 AM] Punished Snake: "Y' dun wanna know why I chose that town.. Ya really dun wanna know.."
- [4/5/2014 10:54:48 AM] Dusk: "Not going to push you, then. Not exactly the shining example of good, myself." Dirge leans back and looks up at the cieling; he knew that it was a touchy subject. "When you're out in the Wastes, you get bored. You end up...doing things to your marks, especially if they had given you a hard time when you hunt them down."
- [4/5/2014 10:57:16 AM] Punished Snake: "I'll tell ya we didn't raid the town for its equipment or gear..."
- [4/5/2014 10:58:08 AM] Dusk: "You wanted a good time. By any means possible..."
- [4/5/2014 11:03:06 AM] Punished Snake: He leans foward, and grimly whispers. "Ah hate unicorns... But I love ruttin' pegasai.. Best time there is, hooves down."
- [4/5/2014 11:06:56 AM] Dusk: "..." Dirge feels a bit unnerved by that last comment. "You were one horny bastard, then." He said this with no emotion.
- [4/5/2014 11:11:16 AM] Punished Snake: "It was less about tha' more about the sheer thrill. The 'why th' fuck not' factor.." He too, is emotionless.
- [4/5/2014 11:11:52 AM] Punished Snake: "We had our fill. Killed some. Left others... Did what we did, an' moved on.."
- [4/5/2014 11:14:16 AM] Dusk: "You did it for its' own sake. Just wanted to have some fun, and feel something from it. I guess it didn't matter how you got your jollies, so long as you felt something."
- [4/5/2014 11:17:54 AM] Punished Snake: "What we mostly felt.. Rage, bloodlust. The usual you'd expect from scum like us. There was no real rime, or reason... We thought the world was dyin. Ponies just glowin' embers of this snuffed out candle.. And we just decided if'n were all dyin...."
- [4/5/2014 11:18:09 AM] Punished Snake: "Why the fuck not have us some fun?"
- [4/5/2014 11:29:40 AM] Dusk: (I have to move. Place is clsign down)
- [4/5/2014 11:30:32 AM] Punished Snake: (Okay)
- [4/5/2014 2:13:21 PM] Dusk: (Back)
- [4/5/2014 2:18:03 PM] Punished Snake: (WB)
- [4/5/2014 2:19:43 PM] Dusk: Dirge nods in understanding, not at all fazed by this revelation. "Can't say that I blame you. The world WAS dying, and it's still very weak. Sadly, ponies are still assholes, and the zebras aren't much different, it seems."
- [4/5/2014 2:23:22 PM] Punished Snake: He grunts in thought, and spits again. Disgusting habit. "WAS dyin? Mh. World is in it's last breath before the plunge. Them songs ya hear whenm yer passin' over, that odd, warm feelin'. SOme say it's an embrace. I think it's just lettin' go.......Our world is gone. Ain't no solar princesses could stop that, ain't no elements of no harmony stop it.. But if that filly I call Darlin' ain't th' word of hope, then hope never spoke..."
- [4/5/2014 2:25:23 PM] Dusk: Dirge shakes his head. "I'm not giving up on it, not until it dies on me, for sure. Until then...I have a wife and daughter to look forward to, and Egg be damned if I don't try."
- [4/5/2014 2:26:37 PM] Punished Snake: He gives a stalwart expression. "Then either stay, an' do yer tartarus taken job, or go home to 'em.. Just leave Darlin' outta whatever plan ya got.."
- [4/5/2014 2:26:52 PM] Punished Snake: (Aark will speak to interupt Dirge's next line.)
- [4/5/2014 2:28:59 PM] Dusk: Dirge rolls his eyes at Aark. "What makes you think I'm..."
- [4/5/2014 2:29:23 PM] Punished Snake: "OFF. LIMITS."
- [4/5/2014 2:29:34 PM] Punished Snake: "End a' story."
- [4/5/2014 2:31:48 PM] Dusk: "Fine, she's off limits. And you make sure you help this group out. Last thing we need is an undisciplined group thinking that their way is best."
- [4/5/2014 2:34:35 PM] Punished Snake: "I can be ina team... You tell the others: Bullets fly, I'm THERE. We need a stallion, I'm first up. Other th'n that...p'tend she's ain't here. And act like I'm dead.. I ain't your friend. I an't th' kind ya want as a friend...."
- [4/5/2014 2:36:25 PM] Dusk: "Never asked for a friend, anyways. So long as we come to an agreement, I won't be on your ass. Besides..." Dirge smirks. "I'd rather have you over the alicorn, any day. At least you have a brain, and can use it."
- [4/5/2014 2:40:53 PM] Punished Snake: A pause. Then a chuckle. "Heh. You've already proven more capable then tha' freak.. And uh. Next time were in civilization, steda' Ooga-Booga lan'... I wont ferget about tha' drink ya owe me.."
- [4/5/2014 2:42:29 PM] Dusk: Dirge laughs as he offers a claw to Aark. "The shit here is probably weak, anyways. Or poisoned. But I'll be sure to find you a bottle of Wild Pegasus."
- [4/5/2014 2:43:58 PM] Punished Snake: Aark can't give that chance up. He takes the claw. "Sure.. Soun's good."
- [4/5/2014 2:45:04 PM] Dusk: "Now, you have a filly to look after. Make sure she sleeps well, tonight. She's had a rough day."
- [4/5/2014 2:45:40 PM] Punished Snake: "She usually sleeps real good. Even' hard t' wake sumtimes.."
- [4/5/2014 2:46:16 PM] Punished Snake: He grubles under his breath, he does that a LOT, as if he's unused to proper conversations. And then starts to leave the hut.
- [4/5/2014 2:46:59 PM] Dusk: Dirge shrugs as he settles back into bed. "By the way, how do you want your meat cooked?"
- [4/5/2014 2:50:48 PM] Punished Snake: "Mn. Blue rare. But Darlin' won't eat meat."
- [4/5/2014 2:51:40 PM] Dusk: "You got it. I'll cook it up in the morning." Dirge shuts his eyes. "Take care, Aark. And don't you fucking die on me."
- [4/5/2014 2:56:12 PM] Punished Snake: He pauses. "Mn." An affirmative grunt.
- [4/5/2014 2:56:29 PM] Punished Snake: Then he goes back to his spot to find Darling.
