  13.
  14. The paradise world of Accha, a jewel rested gently in the nape of the Segementum's crown. An oddity, as far as paradise worlds are concerned, as it is frozen to it's core and locked in a face-forward dance with a distant yellow sun. She spins in tandem with her stride, the sun-ward face catching just enough sunlight for the various composite ices of the planet's crust to melt or sublimation, a thin but breathable atmosphere forever rising from the surface, blowing to the twilight boundary, and falling as razor snows. this forms a distinct and deadly boundary between night and day upon Accha, and one it's inhabitants believe to be a gift from the emperor, a divine defensive line from the Eternal Cold that hungers on the other side.
  15.
  16. Another peculiarity of this world is it's surface's never ending march to the center of the sun-ward face. As the ice and snow turns to gas, new icebergs and glaciers push into the space. The twilight lands are marked by the razor snows that pile, pile and pile, forming mountains of ice that reach to the sky and slide either way, either to the sun-ward lowlands or the shattered face of the ever-dark. All of this constant churning of material means that no stationary formation could exist for long, save for at the very heart of the sun-ward side's face, where a single hive rests, crystalline in composition, an homage to the planet it claims.
  17.
  18. Acca, frozen, ever changing, One of her cheeks forever turned form the warmth of the sun. Granted, It's ices are multi-colored and fantastically stratified, it's ever-lasting compression and cycle of the razor snows. In equal parts enchanting, and deadly it is truly A peculiar would to call "Paradise" one would think.
  19.
  20. Peace, Peace is the key to this Crystal orb's prestigious classification. For three hundred years Accha has danced about it's star with only minor worker's riots and the occasional witch hunt sparking up to disturb the Traveler-oriented lifestyle of the Acchains.
  21.
  22. It's PDF has grown slow and complacent, content to style themselves of their grandfather's grandfathers, the tenacious men who scoured the Praryya jami[the lands within 100 miles of the twilight boundary] free of the Ork hoards that once raided and pillaged.
  23.
  24. Her surface is dotted by Crawler-resort herds, rolling against the marching ices, melting tunnels when faced with cliffs, forging ice bridges when faced with crags. These rolling towns are composed of 20-35 land trains, lead by Tech-priest mayors who lead the towns and operate the archaic ice-molding technology that allow the herds to exist. These Crawler trains are segregated communities, The lowest decks are given over to the tech-priests, the middle floors are worker habs and small hydroponic farms, while the upper floors are host to the heights of luxury. Each and every car is capped with specially treated crystal domes. the floors within are made up of specialized suits, small libraries, and well pointed meeting spaces for Imperial men and women of power to meet and mingle as they watch the rainbow tinted spire-scapes march by. Nobles the sector over send their children to Accha so they can meet and mingle, hopefully forge new friendships that will tie this struggling sector closer together.
  25.
  26. The Sparkling towers of her Capital of Kpaanhkat Rell Tite, Kpaa to it's visitors, is circled by a grand wall, another marvel of the local Admech Cult's Ice shaping archano-tech. The wall is more of a massive inlet for an immense terraforming device designed during the dark age of technology. It's lower half is a yawning maw, swallowing the sun-thinned glaciers whole, it's internal spaces stuffed with laser arrays that blast the ices apart, freeing gases to thicken the capital's atmosphere further while titanic grates allow fluids to wash downwards to filtration devices that pull a double duty. Specific elements and compounds are pulled from the slurry while pure water is pumped inwards towards the Capitol City. This wonder of engineering and design is yet another facet of the Gem of the Sector, another wonder that pulls tech-priests from all around the segmentum, The pilgrimage of Harmonic Quartz.
  27.
  28. The Ring of Resonance is the name of the local Admech cult, and it's roots are sunk deeply into every facet of the planet's continued prosperity. It's Disciples guide the Crawler herds, It's leaders both defend Kpaanhkat Rell Tite from he crushing ices, and supplies it with air, water and industrial materials. By all rights this planet should be Controlled in full by the Ring of Resonance, Her heart beats at their command. Yet the arch-magos stays to the right side of the planetary governor, content to keep this crystal clockwork ticking. His arms ever spread to the many faces of the Imperium, from administrator, to the ecclesiarchy and every organization in between. His voice is ringing, an array of crystals in his vox-caster humming each word out as he makes his little moves and facilitates the many talks and meetings between the many minds of the sector.
  29.
  30. The RIng Of resonance has Four main duties. 1, Maintaining the Ring that it take's it's name from. 2, Leading and protecting the Crawler Herds. 3, Operating and maintianing the slew of research stations, power plants and the fleet of airships and flers that dart between the capital, it's herds, and the rest. And 4, Maintain the Twin Docks.
  31.
  32. The Twin Docks form the final piece of Accha's puzzling success. Though their fundamental technologies are no grander, archaic or powerful than the average around the sector, blindingly efficient layout and operation once again reaffirms the planet's claim to the title of Paradise. THough your average Imperial would only see a mess of instructions, overly-complicated checklists and a mess of red tape, the Admech and Administratum see a choreographed waltz of Shipping and information.
  33.
  34. The twins are spaced by thousands of kilometers, one seated firmly next to the heart of Kpaa, the other careening through the void in a swift orbit about the equator. It's passing marks the only obstruction of sunlight to the surface of Accha's habitable side, while gracing the ever-night with the dim reflected light of the distant star. With each pass a swarm of ships swerve up or down, and as it races away the skies are clear once more. Another Vibrant and visible pulse upon the living face of Accha.
  35.
  36. Though this Crystal-work clock seems to tick without issue, her face telling the spirit and ideas of the sector at large, a rot still remains in the tightest wound springs; Petty cults spring up with each orbit about the star, More often than not these cults are slaneshi in nature; The Service class working clansmen desperate for tastes of the luxury built upon their backs and lubricated with their sweat and sweet words as they spend their days serving lords and ladies from worlds unknown. Their workings are often subtle and meticulous, Excess and pleasure taken in the shadows between the decks of rolling tows, the elbows and nooks of Kpaa's glittering spires. While the ruling class is often adherent to the God-Emporer, if only to save face with their equals, broken servants spread the cloying words of chaos where they can. If it were not for the fact that Inquisitors took frequent trips to the planet, these cults would have long ago grown and thrown this Gem into the fires of war.
  37.
  38. Indeed, through petty cult or worker riot, the Day ward side of Accha seems situated to bask forever in the light of the God Emporer's grace. Upon the night-ward face, this Jewel'd lady dances to a different step. Basked in the dim glow of the Skyward Twin, Chaotic shapes take form. While there is no sun to melt and ease the movement of ice on ice, letting the landmasses slide and skate, the ground still marches. frigid friction, shattering faces, the night-ward face of the twilight mountains pushing down. the face of the night is shattered and reformed second to second, the air hardly thick enough to hold the sound of it all, yet man would still hear it. He would feel it if he were to stand upon that surface, in his being the shattering of worlds and reforming, each new face more chaotic than the last. Though countless eyes of countless followers of the Corpse Emperor gaze down, not a single one sees the truth of the evil churning below.
  39.
  40. to summerise:
  41. The capital is Kpaanhkat Rell Tite, it's points of interest are the many crystal spires, It's efficient orbital dock, and the Archanotech terraforming machine called the Ring of Resonance that circles the capital with a radius of 80 kilometers. The hive does not fill this space, and is a minor hive.
  42.
  43. It is also dotted in 'villages' of Crawler land trains that serve as mobile resorts and sanctuaries, servicing the imperial elite and acting as the playing field of the great game of sector politics, Where the Capitol of the sector would be the battleground of politics, where alliances forged in the serenity of the Ice Marches are put to the test. These Crawlers have Ice-shaping archanotech and are controlled by the Admech.
  44.
  45. The Twilight zone is ringed by Praryya jami, which then shift into the Ice Marches on the Sun-ward side, while they push into the Ever-night on the Dark side.
  46.
  47. The major faction of note[as of now, feel free to add more] Is the Ring of Resonance, Lead by the Arch-Magos Spaha Tikaros, A man who's voice box has been replaced with a set of harmonic crystals. His flock seems content to keep the wonders of this ice world clicking along while the sector's elite come from all over to rub shoulders and talk of trade, war and riches. Their sites and holdings are scattered around the planet, centering around the Ring. The AdMech of the sector and even some from around the segment-um partake in a pilgrimage to the Ring. This pilgrimage allows for the machine cult to mingle and mix, keeping ties strong in much a simmilar way as the Crawler resorts serve the Imperial organizations.
  48.
  49. This planet is a meeting place, Hushed discussions in crystal-bo
