  2. [18:35] <Gamesmaster> It is 06:55 hours, 5th October, 3067. After proceeding to the Communications and Security Room with the Captured battlearmour, the secondary team encountered difficulties with one of the ships cargo elevators.
  3. [18:35] <Gamesmaster> Impatient, Dorn took flight, activating the BAs jump jets and sailing onto the upper levels. Via shock and awe, surprised security personnel were soon overcome by the gout of flame erupting from the battlearmours mounted flamer.
  4. [18:35] <Gamesmaster> It was only when the flames died down it was noticed the Stephan had accompanied the battlearmour on its flight, and was lying in flames at its feet. Thinking quickly, Dorn put out the inferno with the suits moutned extinguisher,
  5. [18:35] <Gamesmaster> before Vane supplied medical aid to the unconcious trueborn. Attempting to compose themselves, the team, consisting of vane, linus, dorn and hopefully stephan!

  7. [18:37] <Gamesmaster> Meanwhile, the remaining group have met up with the Command star, who have approached the bridge and come across a locked bulkhead door, that is covered by an automated sentry gun.
  8. [18:38] <Gamesmaster> They are awaiting confirmation from team 2 of when to proceed, wary of proceeding with the ships security systems still active, and an unknown number of enemy personnel hiding beyond it.

  30. [18:45] * Jacob_Dorn stomps off down the coridor to investigate what the now chargrilled security scrubs was guarding.
  31. [18:46] <^Vane^> Seems he is too far gone right now. We will have to try and remember to pick him up on the way back.

  34. [18:46] * ^Vane^ packs up the medkit, hoists his weapon and follows Dorn.

  36. [18:47] <Gamesmaster> it doesnt take long until you get to the end of the short, bbqed corridor. ahead is a door, seemginly open, darkness ahead. To the right however, is a set of stairs, just wide enough for you to venture up at the top is another, locked door, illuminated in a red light
  37. [18:48] <Gamesmaster> The doors are marked 'Communications'
  38. [18:48] <Linus_Svenssen> Looks interesting
  39. [18:48] <Jacob_Dorn> Up to red or forward into darkness.
  40. [18:49] * ^Vane^ examines the door up the stairs for signs.
  41. [18:49] <Linus_Svenssen> Guessing it’ll be locked, but I can see about that.
  42. [18:49] <Gamesmaster> *On futher inspection, Vane sees that it addition to the Communications sign, there is also one marked 'Security'
  43. [18:49] <Gamesmaster> *Another reads : Authorised Personnel Only*
  44. [18:50] * Linus_Svenssen heads cautiously up the stairs to examine the door
  45. [18:50] * ^Vane^ follows Linus.
  46. [18:51] <^Vane^> See if you can get it open, stealthily.
  47. [18:51] * Jacob_Dorn performs a quick systens check on his BA
  48. [18:52] * Linus_Svenssen scratches head
  49. [18:52] <^Vane^> **Dorn, can you get the suit up the stairs**
  50. [18:52] <Linus_Svenssen> looks like it’s locked down
  51. [18:52] * Linus_Svenssen looks for a control panel
  52. [18:52] <^Vane^> Can you unlock it down?
  53. [18:52] <Jacob_Dorn> **I can yes but It will be quite tight**

  76. [19:05] * Jacob_Dorn braces himself in the BA and procesed to smash the door with uts powerclaw
  77. [19:07] <Gamesmaster> *With a gigantic tearing noise, the door folds inwards with the first blow. With a second up blow, the door flies clean off its hinges, backwards into a room now revealed as light pours down onto the cadets below*
  78. [19:08] <Gamesmaster> *There is a scream as a the door collides with one of the ships crewman beyond it, smashing him backwards over a table and through a glass holoprojector table

  82. [19:08] <Gamesmaster> *Three personnel bolt form their chairs and run for cover, as a fourth peeks out quickly from the door terror on his face*

  96. [19:16] <Gamesmaster> *The room is covered in bank after bank of computers, holotables, and other electrical equipment. Three large glass holo displays dominate the far wall. One of them is inoperative, one of the personnel lies unconcious, wedged amongst the

  98. [19:16] * Linus_Svenssen enters and eyeballs the english-speaker

  114. [19:21] <Gamesmaster> *The computer comes to life, the interface coming up plain as day. Unlike the other interfaces on the other part of the ship, this one appears to be in English. The theming appears different.. the midnight star logos absent*
  115. [19:22] <Gamesmaster> *It appears to allow access to both security and communications functions - it appears that a message was half written on the terminal before you took control of it, but it is composed of unreadable moonspeak*

  132. [19:30] <Jacob_Dorn> Got that thermal readout?
  133. [19:30] * ^Vane^ goes to the wrecked screen and looks for cables to tie the techs with.
  134. [19:30] <Dierson_Pyre> **Good work Team 2, await further orders**

  146. [19:34] <Linus_Svenssen> Other than that, there’s one or two heat signals around the ship, though I’d assume they’re just individuals.

  156. [19:37] * Jacob_Dorn aproaches the sparking terminal and plunges the BA powerclaw into it in hopes of pulling out a powersorce

  159. [19:39] <Gamesmaster> **Aff, make best speed, we will meet up at the approach and consider our options**

You can see Zenobia pacing backwards and forwards a look of impatience on her first. When she sees Team 2 approach she mutters something under her breath,and tunrs back to DeVEga*

  245. [20:06] <Gamesmaster> Stephan barely stands, propped up against the Inner Sphere Standard BA
  246. [20:07] <Gamesmaster> "What happened to the Cadet?" she asks.
  247. [20:07] <Dierson_Pyre> Aff, Dorn procured it and then burnt Stephan to the ground
  248. [20:07] <Dierson_Pyre> in the process succeeded in securing their objective
  249. [20:07] * Stephan growls, hal in pain, half in anger
  250. [20:07] <Jacob_Dorn> Encounterd in Engineering then utilized.

  253. [20:08] <Gamesmaster> "You should watch your fire" she says to Dorn. "But it is an asset we can use if what Cadet Linus says is correct. We have been nothing but bogged down via their dishonourable tricks since we set foot on this ship."

  356. [20:36] <Dierson_Pyre> Moves in and throws HE at 20 mm cannon emplacement
  357. [20:37] <Gamesmaster> *Two of them fiddling with the autocannon look up suddenly as they go tense at the sight of all three claws bursting foward*
  358. [20:42] * Jacob_Dorn moves up behind Dierson moving clear to get a clear shot then sprays a burs from teh BA's MG across the enemy line.
  359. [20:43] <Gamesmaster> *Diersons grenade sails through the air, landing amongst the troopers. It explodes, sending four of them to their feet.*
  360. [20:44] * Remus does the absolutely tacticool thing from his UNCONVENTIONAL POSITION and unloads his shotgun, WITH A CLEAR SHOT MIND YOU, and goes for the gold.
  361. [20:44] <Gamesmaster> *They are thrown upwards into the air, colliding with the back wa ll*
  362. [20:48] <Gamesmaster> *The left trooper manning the portable gun falls backwards, grabbing at his helmet. He falls out of sight*
  363. [20:51] * ^Vane^ moves up along Pyre, throws a HE grenade at the tightest group of enemies.
  364. [20:53] <Gamesmaster> *Vanes grenade goes off infront of the Autocannon, showering all the troopers with additional shrapnel. The other trooper is dislodged ducking for cover and grabs at his shoulder*
  365. [20:56] * Biorn grabs a remote detonating satchel of C8 and tosses through the door, beyond the hardpoint screaming at the top of his voice "C8 kamphundr! Stand down or make my day"
  366. [20:59] <Gamesmaster> *The satchel sails over the emplacement, and lands behind it, somewhere amongst the enemy troopers. The exact location cannot be determined, due to the smoke from the multiple grenade impacts*
  367. [21:00] * Remus yells at the top of his lungs, "Learn to aim guns people! Seriously! Hahaha!"
  368. [21:01] * Ridian unloads shotgun around the battle armour
  369. [21:02] <Gamesmaster> *The rounds go deep into the smoke. Ridian can see a figure stumble as he was attempting to get up, knocked back to the floor*
  370. [21:06] * Linus_Svenssen fires his auto-pistol into the smoke
  371. [21:06] <Gamesmaster> *Linus's round goes true into the same figure that Ridian had hit, and the man grabs at his torso*
  372. [21:20] <Gamesmaster> *The rounds of Dorns machine gun roar out from the BA mounted 'machine gun', tearing a path of destruction. The rounds go wide, initially, but Dorn swings the fire across the emplacement. The emplacmeent explodes in a shower of sparks, and one of the troopers holding onto it to steady himself is cleanly cut in two by several of the shells*
  373. [21:20] * Stephan fatifued and in pain tries to get into position quickly, but stumbles over something and falls landing behind a battlearmour and discharges a single round through BA feet into the room.

  382. [21:30] * Remus advances along the roof, carefully entering the corridor and training his weapon on the enemy positions
  383. [21:32] <Gamesmaster> *Remus is stopped in his tracks half way across the ceiling, as one of the troopers who has been dazed shakes free of the shock and awe, and opens fire on him at full burst with his infantry pulse laser*

  386. [21:34] <Gamesmaster> *The pulse of light bursts out, slamming into Remus's legs. The weapon burns through the armour, and reflexive Remus pushes off the wall, holding onto the wound. He spins off towards the ground*
  387. [21:37] <Gamesmaster> *Spinning thorugh the air, he successfully lands on his feet,swearing loudly*
  388. [21:38] <Gamesmaster> *The rest of the troopers attempt to compose themselves, but as they do so, the command star of the the Third White Fangs begins opening up with all available weapons*
  389. [21:40] <Gamesmaster> *Opening up at full burst, De Vega downs the closest trooper efficiently and without effort. Zenobias fire goes wildly, narrowly missing Vane and scything a hole out of the far wall as she struggles to fire around the advancing stars.
  390. [21:41] <Gamesmaster> Signy downs another, the shots rippled up through the enemies chest and opening up his skull with two expertly placed rounds

  392. [21:42] <Gamesmaster> Declans shotgun blast puts another down, knocking the man clean off his feet as he crumples into a pile at the foot of the bridge door
  393. [21:43] <Gamesmaster> Lysanders rounds also hit their mark, another enemy quickly cut down*
  394. [21:43] <Gamesmaster> *The firing from the command star ceases*
  395. [21:44] * Dierson_Pyre takes aim and fires SMG at one of the 2 remaining figures getting up
  396. [21:46] <Gamesmaster> *The trooper goes down as Dierson takes him apart mercilessly, falling lifeless onto what remains of the autocannon*
  397. [21:48] * Remus screams,"I'M GOING TO FUCK YOU" and proceeds to jump on the downed trooper!
  398. [21:49] * Remus pulls out his knife and jams it through the faceplate of the unconsious soldier, still screaming at the top of his lungs.

  416. [21:55] <Gamesmaster> *As the party ascends the staircase and into the bridge, they see the vast, yawning maw of space through the frontal canopy. Stood infront of them, surrounded by 4 carapace armour guards, is what looks to be a man of draconis combine descent, with his arm around a female. His other hand holds a pistol, which he has pressed towards her temple*
  417. [21:56] <Gamesmaster> *The blinking lights and computers of the bridge show what appears to be a halted count down, detailing what appears to be the engine start up*

  419. [21:58] <Gamesmaster> As soon as you enter, he speaks up, in a soft spoken , but heavily accented english
  420. [21:58] * Shinzi moves off to the side, autopistols aimed towards two of the guards
  421. [21:58] <Gamesmaster> "Not one step further, or your scientist dies" he says plainly
  422. [21:58] * Dierson_Pyre levels SMG at the 2 figures and opens full auto

She absorbs the majority of the blast, before he throws off her body. He makes for the back of the bridge, as all four of the soldiers advance forth to towards dierson, Vane and Ridian*

  434. [22:05] <Stephan> *As the commotion unfolds Stephans consciousness starts slowly creeping back to him*

  436. [22:05] * Stephan lets out another roar of pain as he comes back to life
  437. [22:06] <Gamesmaster> *Vanes rounds slams into the lead trooper, but he continues forward and raises his pulse laser at Vanes chest*

  451. [22:19] <Gamesmaster> *The trooper than was engaging Vane turns around and for the last split second of his life, sees the towering form of the BA as the claw connects with his chest. With a sickening crunch, his entire ribcage is punched clean out of his body*

  457. [22:25] <Gamesmaster> *The round goes off, slamming into the standing troopers arm. He drops his rifle reflexively*

The man makes it half a metre before he lets out a scream as Vanes bullet hits him square in the side of the head, taking off a part of his cheek. He falls forward into the escape pod, as the doors shut behind him automatically*
