  19. AC - Armor Class. how hard it is to land a damaging blow on someone. This is buffed by dexterity (representing dodging), but only positively. A character with a penalty to dexterity will not have a penalty to Armor Class.

  21. An Armor Piece's armor class tells you how well it protects you. To attack, roll 1D20 plus any bonuses to attack. If the result is equal or greater to the target's AC, the attack lands. Some weapons give bonuses to hit.
