A woman of apparently low class who works as a telephone operator, she carries herself with a calm and collected attitude even in high stress situations. Little is known of her background before the most recent years, but there are rumors that her father was a member of Kushvan aristocracy who had an indiscretion with a Kantonese woman and abandoned the responsibility to his mistress and illegitimate child. If true, then Sokolova is likely to be an assumed name rather than her true identity. These rumors, if not an outright fabrication on her own part, would give her substantial motive to pursue an end to the royalist faction, their bourgeoisie supporters and bring about an uprising of the people. Whatever the truth may be, she seems firmly invested in the revolution, both in supporting it and climbing the ranks.
