[11:18] <Primer> * Primer is standing outside the door, leaning up againt the wall and smoking a large cigarr. "I knew it." She has a gentle smile on her face, but her eyes are cold as Neigherra meltwater, probably due to their artificial state.
[11:18] <Primer> * Clipped_Cantle jumps, nearly falling over on her wobbly hooves before whirling to look at Primer. "I... I... uh... what?"
[11:18] <Primer> * Primer stands straight and turns to walk towards medical. "Let's take a walk. I knew you wouldn't be able to sleep."
04[11:18] <Primer> * Clipped_Cantle starts after Primer, taking slow careful steps to try and keep them looking natural and normal. "O-ok... you're... uh... Primer, right? Kiren's aunt... somehow?" She knew she needed to talk to this mare... but that didn't make her /want/ to, really. She jut wanted everything to be like it was yesterday...
[11:18] <Primer> * Primer nods and takes a right turn. "Yes, and yes, though obviously not by blood." She shifts the cigarr over to the other side of her mouth. "Me and his mother has been in a lot of scrapes, shared blood, sweat, and tears. Race means little after that."
[11:18] <Primer> * Clipped_Cantle nods, and keeps following Primer. "R-right..." She lowers her gaze to the floor. "W-what kind of... scrapes?"
[11:18] <Primer> * Primer chuckles. "Life 'n death mostly." She stops and pats the wall fondly. "But we also rebuilt this Stable, made it a refuge and a trading post. That took a good long while to accomplish." She turns her head to look Clipped in the eyes. "And of course, my incident... altough it would be more accurate to say, incidents."
[11:18] <Primer> * Clipped_Cantle blinks at Primer. "Incidents...? Oh." She wrests her gaze from the other cybermare and looks at the wall opposite her. "It's... this is..." She sighs. "I hate it. I want my old body back... I almost wish that doc hadn't saved me. I mean... these things I'm made of now... why me? They're clearly very advanced... I didn't even realize what I was... until... Moon told me what was done..

07[12:25] * +Clipped_Cantle gets to her hooves and nods at Primer. "Yes, please. I need to... it's kind of... saying good bye, I guess. I just need to do it. It doesn't feel right, otherwise."
07[12:27] * +Primer gets to her hooves, wincing a bit. "Yeah, no problem." She makes for the door. "I understand, and to be fair, our apple orchard isn't so bad a place to spend the time. My own legs are there too."
04[12:29] * +Clipped_Cantle follows after Primer. "I saw it earlier. Kiren showed me... it's beautiful. Had a few apples, too. They were delicious..."
07[12:32] * +Primer nods. "Yeah, Lustrus, my daughter, heads the technical bits of that and the hydroponics project." She walks down the hallway towards maintenance.
07[12:39] * +Clipped_Cantle smiles again. It felt good to do that once more. "She's doing a wonderful job. I wouldn't mind meeting her if I could." She stumbles, her smile being replaced by a frown momentarily. "Gah. Stupid legs. It's like they're not as long as they used to be or something."
04[12:43] * +Primer walks slower so that Clipped can catch up. "Yeah, it's like learning to walk all over again." She smiles. "If we get the opportunity, I can introduce you. If nothing else, ask Kirengo, I'm sure he won't mind."

04[12:47] * +Primer starts down some stairs. "Yeah, Kar's a tiny zebra, but she has a temper like a blastfurnace when she wants." She opens a door. "HEre we are."

07[12:54] * +Clipped_Cantle follows Primer over, eyeing the machine warily. She wanted to do this, needed to do this, but... she was still about to burn her own body.
07[12:57] * +Primer looks at Clipped. "This... will be distressing, not going to shit you on that."
07[12:58] * +Clipped_Cantle nods at Primer. "I know... I... it..." She closes, her eyes, clears her throat, and sets her jaw. "I have to."

07[12:59] * +Primer opens the container, and in it is Clipped's former body.
07[13:03] * +Clipped_Cantle stares at her old body for a long moment, then winces and looks away. "Fuck me... how am I... how the hell did I survive long enough to..." She closes her eyes. "It's like a sack of jelly... it... doesn't even... look... if I didn't know what it was, I wouldn't... recognize it." She gulps and takes a step back, then sets her jaw again. "What... do I do?"
07[13:05] * +Primer walks over to the incinerator and grabs a handle on it, then pulls out a long traylike contraption. "Well, body goes here, and then I'll show you what button to push. There's some overalls and galoshes in the locker there."
04[13:09] * +Clipped_Cantle opens her eyes and nods, heading over to the locker. She opens it and is kind of surprised to find some overalls and galoshes in her size. Must be because of Kirengo's mom. She puts the gear on, then trots over to her old body. She goes to lift it, then winces and pulls away. "Ugh..." She shakes her head, then lifts and carries it over to the tray, setting it down gently and staring at it.
07[13:11] * +Primer sits by the side next to a controll panel. "Just shove it closed."
07[13:14] * +Clipped_Cantle jumps, then nods. "Y-yeah... alright..." She does just that, then hangs her head and closes her eyes, taking deep shaky breaths before heading over to Primer. "W-what... next...?" She asks in a quaking whisper.
07[13:16] * +Primer gives Clipped a hug. "You sure you want to do this?"
07[13:18] * +Clipped_Cantle nods and leans into Primer's hug, still whispering. "I have to... I'll hate myself later if I don't..."
07[13:20] * +Primer reaches over and taps in some settings on the controll panel. "There, just pull that little lever... when you're ready."
07[13:24] * +Clipped_Cantle slowly reaches up to the lever, her leg shaking. She closes her eyes, takes a deep breath, and pulls it.
07[13:26] * +Primer looks on at the incinerator as it works on turning Clipped's old and broken body into ashes.
07[13:29] * +Clipped_Cantle stares at the incinerator for a short moment as it begins it's work, then slumps and starts sobbing quietly, mumbling something under her breath.

07[13:33] * +Clipped_Cantle leans into Primer. It was a little weird being held by a mare she barely knew... but.. they kind of had a bit in common... she knew Primer understood, and that made a world of difference. She continues to sob for several minutes after the incinerator goes quiet again, then wipes the tears from her eyes and looks up at the cybermare.

07[13:37] * +Clipped_Cantle manages a small smile and nods. "Yeah... I think so. It's... it hurt, but... I had to say goodbye." Her smile grows a little. "Thank you. If there's ever anything I can do for you... you tell me."

07[13:43] * +Clipped_Cantle nods to Primer. "Yeah, you're probably right... but I'm going to get my armor put back together first. I'll get some sleep after that."

07[13:46] * +Clipped_Cantle gets to her hooves and starts heading back to medical. "Alright, see you around Primer." She stops at the door and looks at the incinerator a final time, then sighs and leaves the room.
07[13:47] * +Primer sits there for a while, then walks back to her empty quarters and slips underneath the cold sheets. "Nice kid."

07[00:29] * +Mercury closes the door behind her, climbs up on the bed and sets a proximity alarm if her armor has one. She then curls up in her power suit and tries to get some sleep.

07[00:35] * +Clipped_Cantle kisses and nibbles at the underside of Moonlight`s_Shimmer' wing, then yawns and just rests her head in the alicorn's embrace. She brings up her HUD, wincing a bit at the lines as they formed. The information they brought up wasn't good, either. She knew she was hungry, but according to her body she was damn near starving. "Hey Moon... I got some fancy buck cakes in my bags... mind magicing...

15[00:39] <+Karina> Kirengo once again sniffles wetly as he cries into the ghoul holding him.  "I..."  The words get caught in his throat and he just presses his face harder into Blastwave, and, if nothing changes, eventually drifts off to a very tired sleep.
07[00:41] * +Clipped_Cantle chuckles as Moon gets ready to feed her. "I'm... well, according to this... sensor thing that monitors my body's condition..." She sighs and droops a bit. Made her 'not-a-pony' flare up. "...I need to eat a lot more than a package of cakes... but I can get more tomorrow." She opens her mouth and leans forward to nom the cake.

07[01:21] * +Clipped_Cantle breaks the kiss after a few moments and nuzzles Moonlight`s_Shimmer. "Can't put this helmet on without a kiss." She chuckles, then puts her helmet on. She brings up her HUD... great, that creepy info showed up on her armor's HUD, too. She sighs.

Huh, Kirengo and Blastwave must be up already. Talk to them first, then go wake Mercury up. She heads over to what is actually Karina's room and knocks on the door.

The door opens a moment later, Karina in nothing but her bandoleer standing on the other side.  She furrows her brow and blinks at the two.  "Who are you?"

A bit too busy with the Steel Rangers and a whole mess of other stuff to deal with that. Not to mention that one of our key things is -helping- -all- of the wasteland, not just our own power and influence." He looks back at Clipped. "We'll have to tell them as soon as we make it back to the base, no matter what it is we do."
