  1. What is Regional Youth Parliament
  2. Newfoundland and Labrador Youth Parliament is committed to fostering debate and involvement in the political system all across the province. To make this possible, we are in the process of helping other regions of our province create smaller, regional, youth parliaments. A prime example of this is our sister organization - Metro Youth Parliament (formally St. John's Regional Youth Parliament), which is open to youth in St. John's and the surrounding area.

  4. Historically, there have been several regional youth parliaments throughout the province, and we want to see a return of those youth parliaments. With more added in places such as Labrador.

  9. =leftside MYPlogo =center Currently going into it's 78th session this fall, Metro Youth Parliament (formally St. John's Regional Youth Parliament) is a sister organization of Newfoundland and Labrador Youth Parliament which hosts semi-annual parliamentary style debates that cover any number of real world issues. Any youth age 15-24 can register for one of these sessions, and is welcome to either actively participate or simply watch. At the end of the session, members can enjoy the company of like-minded people and talk about the debate in more detail.
