- How this young rapper from Florida, made it out the underground in this already over saturated market of hip hop
- you may ask? We asked him personally about the current state of Hip Hop and how he made it to the top and is now
- known as the "King of the South". He said " I had a tough up bringing man, I'd often argue with my mother who I was
- livin' with at tha' time yano.. I would get in all sorta trouble with dem gangs, drugs and guns yano. There wasn't much
- to do growin up, so me and my man Mac (DJ Purp) would drop some heat in tha street wit dem mixtapes we made early
- on ya feel me? And eventually we made it. It felt impossible back then yano, to make it to the top but now its
- worse than ever homie, its just the same trash no originality from the yung rappers, shame really, yano". 23
- Savage who's new Album is coming out this fall called "Savage Year" featuring 12 new tracks, 3 of which are
- now available for perview. Originally 2 of these were supposed to be aired on Radio, however the production
- company cancelled any airing due to problems with "censorship". We reached out to the team working at the station
- to give us a little insight as to what the issues were and they claimed simply that even with the censorship in
- place, the tracks were just far too explicit and portrayed too much violence and abuse. We then asked 23 how he
- feels about this and this is the response we go. "Maan that some bull**it, I put ma heart on ma sleeve every time
- I write and this what I get? F**k them pu***es they aint playing ma s**t cause they dont know what dope is maan,
- they been fu***ng me over all year with that like cmon maan I just want more recognition ya get me?". Ever since
- this happened, Flame Radio has received much hate over social media, especially twitter fans of 23 from all over
- the world are constantly hating on the station and they have yet to respond to this. This is also not the first
- time that affiliations with flame radio have been negatively affecting 23, Luthless Records who have multiple
- connections with Flame Radio including partnerships have previously refued to release 23's original mixtapes,
- this caused a lot of hassle for 23 since this meant that none of his work was release under a label and any
- direct profit was limited and it meant that there was much more loop holes for copyright on his work. This is
- very controversial because another rapper who was under the same label known as Busta Crimes released multiple
- tracks which actually closely resembled 23's lyrics and flow. This is what 23 had to say about this " They
- be playing me all along maan, right from tha start I knew they were up to summin' and that pu**y as bi**h
- Busta was stealin' ma s**t, I knew I had to leave them yano it was all too shady".
- Apart from that 23 has had a great career ever since his debut in 2011, he has been successful in all his world
- tours and 2 other album releases called "Life of Lil'Savage" and "Savage Gang". He is killing the charts so far
- with #1 tracks in USA, UK and Global Hip Hop charts and ranking in the top #5 World chart for all music. This is
- ever since he went solo and left all the shady business with Beforemath records and started his independent label
- called "Savagery" which is slowly rising to fame with some of the new talents on board such as the young aspiring
- rapper "J - Dot" who is only 17 and is currently working on his first studio album which will feature 23 Savage
- himself. As well as this 23 Savage has also leaked some information regarding possible collaborations with Chris
- White, which is what all his fans will were waiting for, when we asked him about it, his response was "Just wait,
- all I'm sayin is me and Chris have some dope s**t ready for ya'll..."
