  1.
  2. Narrator has connected.
  3. Actinidia has connected.
  4. Grace has connected.
  5. Narrator: I apologize. My laptop seems to hate the internet right now.
  6. Specifically the internet. Nothing else is slow.
  7. Forgive me if I blame Pai for it.
  8. Narrator: Because I do-OH GAWD MY COLOR IS BRIGHT ASS PINK.
  9. Actinidia: Yep. Catlienne pink
  10. Narrator: Changed.
  11. Narrator: Okay so.
  12. Narrator: I am going to be a dick to you guys right now.
  13. Narrator: And apply backlog experience for all the quests you guys completed BEFORE I began granting experience rewards from quests.
  14. Narrator: This will net you guys 750 XP.
  15. Narrator: Apply now.
  16. If it levels you up...! ....well, level up. I'll wait.
  17. Actinidia: Dang it, now I have to open my character sheet this session.
  18. DNA: It...probably will.
  19. DNA: Yep, I had 550 To Next Level
  20. DNA: 11200
  21. Actinidia: we're at 10500 now?
  22. Actinidia: Okay, my math is bad.
  23. DNA: 11200 is where we get after the 750
  24. Narrator: Remember, if you guys evolved before acquiring LV5 you will count as evolving 'at this level' and consume your 'talent or evolution' condition as evolution.
  25. DNA: set Max EXP to 15000 to make the level up work
  26. DNA: I have updated my token
  27. Actinidia: I need to figure out whether to evolve or not. Surprise!
  28. DNA: Do you have a picture prepared in case you do?
  29. Actinidia: I'm on the fence, because I don't need to evolve to be good at healing, and snivy in a witch getup is so ingrained in my head I'm not sure I want to change it.
  30. Actinidia: But on the other hand, I really like Serperior and wanted to play one when I picked the character.
  31. DNA: You could evolve now and then eat the candy immediately if you really really want to.
  32. Actinidia: I could. And if I don't evolve now I never get serperior.
  33. DNA: But either way you would need to get past your first decision.
  34. DNA: Right.
  35. Actinidia: Everything else is picked though
  36. Grace Leonhardt: Everythings good on my end. Just need to pick the ability focus and I'm all set.
  37. DNA: Hey, you're tiny again!
  38. DNA: ...Also I need to ask if we're healed to full while here or if I carry over my previous health.
  39. Grace Leonhardt: test? Huh funky.
  40. Narrator: Oh right, Grace asked me to make a token. brbdoingthatnow
  41. DNA: ayy
  42. Grace Leonhardt: I'm just impersonating the icon thingy? Hmmm.
  43. Actinidia: She has an evolved token.
  44. Grace: Roight that's the one I impersonated.
  45. Actinidia: In the Seekers of Hope?
  46. Grace Leonhardt: test
  47. Grace Leonhardt: Huh.
  48. Actinidia: yep
  49. Grace Leonhardt: That's screwy
  50. Grace: Ah well, it's all good.
  51. Narrator: Ah, it looks like a token already.
  52. Narrator: You have the image, right?
  53. Grace: hold on a sec
  54. Narrator: Just right click your token, select edit and then drag your image to the image in the top left corner of the edit screen.
  55. Grace: neat! It worked!
  56. DNA: That picture is slightly adorable.
  57. DNA: Now edit the PC one as well as a backup!
  58. Grace: -w-7
  59. DNA: How long did it take to find that one?
  60. Grace: I'm glad I found a better image. That last one just felt... a touch flirty in the back of my head, and I wanted to find something better.
  61. DNA: Ah, yeah. I can see that. And Grace doesn't strike me as flirty. Quite the opposite, actually.
  62. Narrator: She no longer has the Baby Trait to hide behind now though.
  63. Grace: Anyway, yeah. I actually just stumbled across it on my feed, and thought "I need that as a token NOW." And exactly. And you're also right... both of you.
  64. DNA: That just means she blushes less. Sexual maturity probably doesn't mean much to her.
  65. Grace: Nah, she's still gonna be akward as all hell if things get flirty.
  66. DNA: Giving end or receiving end?
  67. Grace: Both honestly if she manages to actually get to be the giver... and not pass out from the blood pressure.
  68. DNA: Grace can get nosebleeds?
  69. DNA: or just accelerated heart rate?
  70. Narrator: Anime explosion blood splurts
  71. Grace: I'd say the later considering nose bleeds would just be too easy.
  72. Grace: Sure blushing is just as easy, but damn it, I'm a sucker for an akward blushing mess.
  73. DNA: "Did she just turn red and then fall over?"
  74. Grace: Boi, you're speaking my language. Cute stuff like that is that goooooood sh*t.
  75. DNA: Where have you been all my life?
  76. Grace: Lurking on the internet because I'm introvert af. :v
  77. DNA: So am I, but I can pretend to be sociable too.
  78. Grace: Fair point.
  79. Narrator: I think out of everyone here, I'm the sociable one.
  80. Narrator: Which is really weird considering how much I hate talking to people.
  81. Actinidia: I'm social, I just have a small group of friends.
  82. Narrator: ^ THIS IS SO ME
  83. DNA: I'm antisocial and have a small group of friends, and I hate talking to people. But the people I like talking to, I love talking to.
  84. Grace: Yeah, that's actually pretty fair. I'm socal with friends, and I can be social easily. It's just that I tire out real quick at parties and stuff, yet when I just chill at home with my computer... tis a good day too to recharge.
  85. Actinidia: found pics, ready to go. Sorry for my own delay, this is going to be a short session
  86. Grace: Tis fine, I enjoy these anyway. -w-/
  87. DNA: As do I. You're good people, Grace. All one of you.
  88. Grace: Dawww
  89. Actinidia: Actinidia watched the human child fly away into the distance. As she did, she was enveloped in a soft glow, one that she didn't realize. So struck by the emotions of the moment. The next thing she knew, she had grown a few inches, standing now as a Servine with a wrapped piece of candy in her hand.
  90. Narrator: I'm editing your token Actinidia.
  91. Narrator: On SoH
  92. Narrator: Complete.
  93. Narrator: Mind if I add portrait?
  94. Actinidia: Go ahead!
  95. Actinidia: "A rare candy perhaps? Well.. either way it was a gift..." Actinida downed the candy, barely having time to get used to her awkward mistage body.
  96. Narrator: Complete.
  97. Grace Leonhardt: Humming for a moment or two, Grace thinks about the odd... trainer if there was a more fitting word. "I... hope things get better for him..." Though as she turns around she'll nearly jump out of her skin at Act's new shape. "WOAH! Gah! Jeez... you scared the heck out of me... I nearly fire kicked you..." She'll say putting a hand to her chest and letting out a sigh.
  98. Pierce Mars Oswell: "I guess I'm back to being the midget of the group again."
  99. Actinidia: "Oh... I'm sorry..." Actinida looked over her new body. She slithered a few "paces" before looking again.
  100. Grace Leonhardt: She'll wave her off. "Sorry sorry, that's mainly on me. I was kinda thinking about that... kid than paying attention. You uh... got a pretty big boost in size."
  101. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Yeah, the...the kid's been on my mind too. ...Act, where are your legs? And your arms for that matter?"
  102. Actinidia: "I think I was evolving... and ate a rare candy while I was evolving..."
  103. Actinidia: "My legs? I think they're gone. My arms... well, they stayed the same size." Actinidia wiggles her now tiny leaf-arms.
  104. Pierce Mars Oswell: "I think those count more as hands than anything but...okay, fine, you win."
  105. Grace Leonhardt: Not being able to help herself she'll let out a quiet "awww~"
  106. Actinidia: "My tail really grew though..." Actinidia slithered, dropped, rolled around. Clearly getting used to her new set of muscles.
  107. * Pierce Mars Oswell waits patiently while Act is exploring herself. ...Was that the right word?
  108. Actinidia: "... I think I'm ready. So... who wants the Eviolite?"
  109. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Grace, can you use it?"
  110. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will perk up, and she'll pull out said eviolte. "Right, that's actually a good point. I kinda... hit a wall with this. Unless it counts megas?"
  111. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Does it?"
  112. Grace Leonhardt: "I don't think so?"
  113. Actinidia: "Hold it and throw aura. Set it down and throw aura. Maybe it'll work."
  114. Actinidia: ((GM?))
  115. Narrator: No, it does not count Mega Evolution.
  116. Narrator: Sorry, I was busy having NPCs have discussions.
  117. DNA: I know it doesn't OOC. How would I know that IC?
  118. Narrator: Equipping it and feeling not a damn change.
  119. Actinidia: What Act said.
  120. DNA: Ah
  121. Grace Leonhardt: She'll do that to test what act suggested and after lobbing two arua shots, she'll shake her head. "Nope. So it's now a rock for me. I don't feel stronger like I did when I was a riolu."
  122. Actinidia: "Shall we go back outside?"
  123. Pierce Mars Oswell: "I suppose I'll hold onto it, then?"
  124. Grace Leonhardt: "One of you should. And... heading outside or at least out of this room is probably a good idea... this place's atmosphere is a touch heavy right now."
  125. Pierce Mars Oswell: "I'll take it." Nabbing it, he feels his aura bolstered somewhat, though not as much as when he was smaller. So he could still make some use of it, for now.
  126. Actinidia: Actinidia slithers outside, looking around from her higher point of view.
  127. Actinidia: "Hello again Hjadvir. The situation has been resolved, the boy left peacefully and released Etna. I've invited him to return later on his adventures."
  128. Narrator: brb
  129. Actinidia: Actinidia loses 0 experience points.
  130. Actinidia: Actinidia loses 0 power.
  131. Hjadvir (The Father): (( Back ))
  132. Hjadvir (The Father): "What exactly happened?" Hjadvir (The Father) asks out of concern, "It looked like madam Etna was defeated quite easily. In an instant even! By a human no less!"
  133. Grace Leonhardt: (wb!)
  134. Actinidia: "The human used a capture device, called a pokeball. There's a kind of human called a "pokemon trainer" who train pokemon for battle. They capture pokemon from the while with a pokeball, by harming them in battle, Etna was previously hurt, and then throwing that ball at them. The pokemon has a small chance to escape, but if they can't, Click. They're caught."
  135. Grace Leonhardt: "Yeah. That's not saying we ban humans from entering. It's just that we need to be weary on their inventory and what they want if they come this way."
  136. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Act evidently knows way more about this than I do, but I know we won't get lucky next time. That kid there was just going through a really bad patch and needed someone to talk with. Opportunists won't give us that chance."
  137. Hjadvir (The Father): Hjadvir (The Father) was speechless after hearing everything and just looked between all of you.
  138. Actinidia: "... In the original pokemon fiction, the stories and games that humans made, humans were still the main characters. Us pokemon? We would be their pets, even if we are stronger than them. The pokeball device was a way for humans to keep control of pokemon, in the original fiction. But that fiction seems to be coming true and humans are inventing pokeballs..."
  139. Grace Leonhardt: "But we can work around that if they stick to the fiction. If we can get them to work for us, we won't be capturable by someone else." She'll say excluding the snaggem machine, but that's mainly because of how rare the tech was in the fiction to begin with.
  140. Actinidia: "Indeed. And the tension between myself and Etna sprung from us not having clear boundaries. Slen opened up a shop on the corner of our territory, and for travelers to use that shop, they must be allowed in, at least to an extent. I suggest we create a secondary inner wall, to create a public square where outsiders can visit and stay. Humans included. And once we have a safe location for people to stay, then we can create rules. No catching us will be one of them."
  141. Hjadvir (The Father): "Is it difficult for humans to make those devices? Or a special skill required to use them? Forgive my caution in this but...our numbers are what protect us. I would feel safer knowing how to defend against such a thing should a human come in and not heed to our rules." Hjadvir (The Father) says before glancing back to all the other snakes, "After all, it would only take one bad human to disrupt our numbers and morale."
  142. Actinidia: "That's what I'm afraid of. I would think it would be complicated to make, but if human children can figure it out it must be rather simple. I know you need special materials, ones that grow on new trees that are scattered and rare. But that scarcity wont last long. We need to prepare for a time when these pokeballs are common." Actinidia rubbed her tail against her chin, "Let me think.. There was an item in the game called the Snag Machine, which could steal pokemon from trainers. Meaning we could re-capture our own friends and release them. I have no idea how such a thing could be made, but I would be willing to speak with Slen about it. Perhaps there are other anti-pokeball measures we could create."
  143. Grace Leonhardt: "Well, statisticly, they're going to be super rare at the moment. And it takes multiple pokeballs to capture one pokemon without fighting it, and even then good luck getting it to work. So as long as we keep to the numbers game, we should be fine for a decent amount of time, which would allow us to build up and set things up before it becomes a common item."
  144. Grace Leonhardt: "So if we keep being diligent at the moment with our pace of work, we should be fine. Being on the defensive with a larger number is a good step in the right direction."
  145. Hjadvir (The Father): "I will implore mister Slen advise us on any knowledge he has about this Snag Machine you speak of. As long as we can reclaim our captured family I will worry much less about it." Hjadvir (The Father) says with a relieved sigh.
  146. Hjadvir (The Father): "His family he's so fond of, however, hasn't made any contact with us - or him - since he's arrived. I do not doubt he's being honest about such family but...in light of recent events I worry about the safety of his family while they explore the world outside. Mayhaps it be best you speak with him before your next departure."
  147. Pierce Mars Oswell: "His family still hasn't sent word? That...is a little concerning."
  148. Hjadvir (The Father): Hjadvir (The Father) looks away for a moment in thought before patting the ground with his tail, "And a defensive inner wall to separate residents and visitors is a grand idea. Please let us know where to build such a thing so we can begin immediately when you acquire the materials."
  149. Actinidia: "That sounds like a good idea. I did have one more matter to discuss. I was speaking with the spiders from a few blocks away. Early allies of ours, and Uraruren's original family. Now... this family is a bit aggressive to outsiders, and to our peacekeeping ways this is going to create conflict. The Chieftan Abdua suggested we have a cultural exchange, where a dozen or so of ours trade places with a dozen or so of theirs, and we learn each other's ways."
  150. Actinidia: "I did not agree with this until I had volunteers. It sounds like an interesting ways to avoid conflict with our neighboors, and frankly having access to web and thread would be incredible, especially for defending against sky invasion.
  151. Hjadvir (The Father): "Should I select around twelve volunteers for the exchange?"
  152. Grace Leonhardt: "Twelve is a good round number, but any volunteers would be good."
  153. Actinidia: "Yes, twelve would work best. And like our breeders, I do wish for the volunteers to be willing to do the exchange."
  154. Actinidia: "I will check back in with you after our next outing, if we have twelve willing, then I will negotiate the exchange."
  155. Hjadvir (The Father): Hjadvir (The Father) nods to Actinidia, "Will do."
  156. Actinidia: "Also also... we're growing plants now!' Actinidia beamed with delight. "I've been hoping we could discover berries! Our next step is seeing if we can survive off of them. Once the rations we have start to wear out, if we cant live off a vegetarian diet... well... I'll be forced to do things I would really rather not do. So, have another volunteer consume nothing but berries for a day or two, if they grow sick or show any adverse effects, they can quit the diet immediately. And attempt to harvest and plant any seeds, if we have any suitable... ah... green thumbs if you pardon the expression." Actinidia paused and counted off check marks in her head, "... lastly I will arrange stones to where I want the second wall to be. Do either of you two have any projects you want worked on? Or any concerns with mine?"
  157. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Things? You mean like...hunting?"
  158. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...One thing I had in mind was to potentially expand the sniper's nest, or establish a guard for the crystal we have, just to make extra-sure of things. Nothing else I can think of right now, but the crystal guard is probably more important."
  159. Hjadvir (The Father): Hjadvir (The Father) nods and smiles, "We have crops. It's rather intriguing! I'll volunteer to consume only berries. I know my health better than anyone else here so I'll notice any effects nigh immediately."
  160. Actinidia: "Thank you Hjadvir. And yes, Mars is correct. He's worked in security before so he's in charge of all things protection."
  161. Grace Leonhardt: "Also, I've been kinda itching to get a sparing yard set up. We need to stay in a decent shape after all. Being stronger makes it harder to be captured to begin with."
  162. Hjadvir (The Father): "I have a question in regard to that strength."
  163. DNA: (sparring yard)
  164. Actinidia: "Hm... a Gardevoir in the distance. And one pokemon I don't recognize.))
  165. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Oh?" Mars looks where Actinidia is gazing - which is what direction?
  166. Hjadvir (The Father): Hjadvir (The Father) turns to look down at the entrance, "Ah, yes. They'd been there since the human arrived. But...the human was more concerning I think."
  167. Actinidia: "The entryway."
  168. Grace Leonhardt: "Huh...?"
  169. Actinidia: "Yes, he was."
  170. Actinidia: "Shall we visit?"
  171. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Might as well. We'll flank you."
  172. Hjadvir (The Father): Hjadvir (The Father) frumps a bit when his question is pushed aside and nods, "Yes. Shall a group of us accompany you?"
  173. Grace Leonhardt: She'll figit a touch, but she'll take a deep breath and ready herself to meet them at the gate.
  174. Actinidia: "Yes, but keep a distance. About a ten second distance."
  175. DNA: Well, I can tell what that fanart is supposed to be.
  176. Hjadvir (The Father): Hjadvir (The Father) slithers quickly beside Actinidia and whistles to a Dratini, Ekans, Dunsparce and Roxy, "Go with them and keep them safe. I'll discuss everything else with the group here but we'll watch you just to be sure. Stay within a moments distance."
  177. Roxy: Roxy smirks, "Tch. With pleasure." Roxy smacks the ground with her tail, "Alright boys and girls, it's time we made Setszas proud!"
  178. Actinidia: Actinidia gives her future daughter in law Roxy a smile.
  179. DNA: ayy lmao
  180. Actinidia: "Ideally there will be no conflict." Actinidia said with a regal calm she just so recently evolved into.
  181. Actinidia: ((Actinidia slithers toward the group to the south, going to skip a lot of distance.))
  182. Grace Leonhardt: Grace is gonna scoot after her, trying to keep pace.
  183. DNA: C'mon Gracie, step it up!
  184. Grace: Queen snek is becoming more regal, watch out the Founding fathers are gonna roll in their grave if they heard a monarchy took hold in the white house. :3c
  185. Gardevoir M: Gardevoir M nudges the Florges beside him, "Welcoming party."
  186. Actinidia: "Indeed." Actinidia smiled, "I'm sorry we took so long to take notice. We've had an eventful day."
  187. Florges: Florges approaches cautiously, "Hello hello hellooooo~" Florges bows as she pauses her advancement.
  188. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will try to be quiet for this considering she doesn't wanna ruin first impressions.
  189. * Pierce Mars Oswell quietly inclined his head towards the Florges. No words, but a nod just big enough to be noticeable.
  190. Gardevoir M: Gardevoir M scoffs before turning to the entryway and folds his arms, watching it.
  191. Actinidia: "Hello to you too. I am Actinidia, this is Mars and Grace. This is the home of the Seekers of Hope, a pleasure to welcome you." Actinidia bowed her head. "What business brings you here?"
  192. Florges: "Stability, flourishment, prizes and warnings." Florges smiles devilishly before pointing to the sky, "You've become quite well founded. And you are Seekers too at that? How novel."
  193. Actinidia: "You have warnings?"
  194. Florges: Florges nods, "Indeed. From the sky at that. They've ignored this place for a while but I don't think word has hit them yet that the Onix whom took hold of this place is gone." Florges chuckles deeply before patting her mouth, "Which we have you to thank for! It's enabled so much development without these snakes devouring everything in sight."
  195. Florges: "My master brings greetings to you from the space and historical musuem." Florges says reaching behind her before studying you all for a good moment.
  196. Florges: "I apologize, but I have a welcoming gift for you all however...I find myself at a loss of which preference your companions prefer." Florges leans back and flicks her eternal leaves gently, "Rock or Steel for your metal friend and Fighting or Steel for your pretty lady?"
  197. Actinidia: Actinidia glances to her friends.
  198. Pierce Mars Oswell: Mars jilts to attention. Ah, she was talking about him. "I suppose so? I don't mind gifts but it's surprising to see someone be nice to us lately. If I can ask, though, who is 'them', that haven't heard word about the lack of Onix?"
  199. Grace Leonhardt: Grace blinks for a second, a little off gaurd by being refered to as 'pretty lady'. Recovering as well as she could, she'll look to Act and give a non commital shrug as she crosses her arms... trying to keep a silent type facade, terrified on saying something stupid if she opens her mouth.
  200. Florges: "Yes, yes. Much concern for them but, there's an order to things. Gift first. I want to avoid rudeness here."
  201. Actinidia: "You two aren't aware of what types you use?" Actinidia smiled, covering her mouth with the fan of leaves at the end of her tail.
  202. Pierce Mars Oswell: "That's not what I meant and you know it." But a corner of his mouth was turned up in a smile.
  203. Florges: "Well, if neither of you prefer Steel I won't be upset. I'd actually enjoy that you didn't!" Florges laughs before clearing her throat, "Sorry. That was rude of me."
  204. Actinidia: "Excuse me for a moment..."
  205. Actinidia: "Roxie dear, could you pick three berries for our guests?"
  206. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will internally panic at the jab taking it seriously. "I'm kinda jack of all trades ya-know?" But seeing Act scoot off, she'll hold the spot and wait hoping she comes back quick.
  207. Gardevoir M: "Ma'am. There's movement to the south. Underground. It seems...void."
  208. Roxy: "Eh?! A-Are you sure?"
  209. Pierce Mars Oswell: "I must admit that I do prefer Steel, though it isn't because I like to be contrary. It just comes the most naturally to me."
  210. Florges: Florges turns slightly, "...We'll check there next."
  211. Florges: "Then this makes it easy." Florges smiles as she motions to Mars, "...May I approach you?"
  212. Actinidia: "Well... how about a single bush? I'm not sure how many are ripe. At the very least one berry for each..."
  213. Roxy: "...Okay, if you think it best."
  214. Roxy: Roxy sprints off to the east.
  215. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will take note of the apparent companion of the walking flower arangement's warning. She'll tense up a touch but not really move from her current pose.
  216. Gardevoir M: "Think Arceus was referring to that place when he spoke about ours?"
  217. Pierce Mars Oswell: "As long as you don't intend to do me harm, sure. You seem nice enough."
  218. Florges: "Perhaps, but surely ours isn't the only one."
  219. Florges: Florges smiles to Mars and nods, "No-no! I don't intend to start conflict here."
  220. Florges: Florges smiles to Mars and nods, "No-no! I don't intend to start conflict here."
  221. Florges: (( WHOOPS! Double post when trying to move. ))
  222. Grace Leonhardt: (lol rip)
  223. Florges: Florges reaches behind herself and holds out a silver gem to Mars, "Here. This is our gift to you."
  224. Grace Leonhardt: Grace couldn't help herself and try to get a better look at what the Florges was doing.
  225. Florges: Florges then hands a Green Gem to Actinidia, "And this one is for you."
  226. Actinidia: "Thank you kindly." Actinidia smiled.
  227. Florges: Florges turns and watches Grace as she studies her, "Mufufufufu, you're so curious. It's cute. Are you into fairy's?"
  228. Pierce Mars Oswell: Cunning to find out what the gem does. 6+6+3+1=16 (STUNT! 6 Stunt Points)
  229. Pierce Mars Oswell: well
  230. Florges: Florges reaches behind her once she gets a free hand and acquires a brownish-red Gem before holding it out to Grace, "This one is for you, pretty lady. I apologize for not having another Steel one. I didn't expect to see more legendary Types here."
  231. DNA: I don't know if there are any stunts that work here, but it's a nice thought.
  232. Actinidia: Actinidia smiled at Grace. She has her shipping smile.
  233. Florges whispers: It is a Steel Gem. Improves your Base Power with Steel Type by 2.
  234. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will blink a touch before mentally recovering. She'll accept the offered gem. "...Thanks?" She'll say getting a touch confused. "I'm not legendary." She'll say without really thinking.
  235. Roxy: Roxy rushes back to Actinidia, handing her three non-mature Lum Berries. She's panting and sweating.
  236. Actinidia: "Thank you Roxie." Actinidia took the berries with a coiled tail.
  237. Pierce Mars Oswell: Mars looks back towards Roxy. "You doing okay?"
  238. Florges: "Mufufufu, please. This isn't the Pokémon World the humans devised. This is not a paradise or some place where all is well and the planet is better for it! This is new world where the ways of the past are just that, the past. It's time to adapt to the harsh truths of this new life." Florges says motioning to both Grace and Mars, "And your Steel Type makes you quite defensible which means, you guys live longer. And in a place that has begun savage and surviving is the name of the game, Steel Types are legendary."
  239. Roxy: Roxy nods, "Y-Yeah. Just...sprinted..."
  240. Florges: "You'd think the legendary Type would be Dragons or Ghosts, but no. Those were nearly decimated early on and have since gone into hiding. The true ones that shine? Steel. Wherever there are Steel Types there is survival."
  241. Actinidia: "I have a gift to share as well, for your warm welcome." Actinidia held out her berries, "They aren't fully ripe, so they may not be the best eating. But you may be able to replant them. We've only just begun experimenting with them ourselves."
  242. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Survival, huh..." he said, though more to himself than anyone else.
  243. Grace Leonhardt: She'll hum at that logic. She could see the connections behind it, but she didn't see herself as something 'legendary'. She'll simply nod her head being at a loss for words and stashes the gem in her barn jacket's pocket.
  244. Florges: Florges accepts the berries and looks them over for a moment before smiling, "Oh, these are a wonderous gift. My master will be quite happy with this. She'll surely wish to aid you."
  245. Gardevoir M: Gardevoir M stares intently into the distance, "...The sky shifted."
  246. Florges: "One moment!" Florges says turning to Gardevoir, "Direction?"
  247. Gardevoir M: "Full score, northwest."
  248. Florges: "The whole flock? Is the Dragon leading them?"
  249. Gardevoir M: "I can't tell. There's too many Aerodactyl."
  250. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Aerodactyl? ...Like a herd in the sky?"
  251. Florges: Florges rubs her blue brows absent mindedly, "Hmm..."
  252. Florges: Florges is brought back to reality by Mars' question and returns to them, "Oh, yes yes. They're the warning."
  253. Actinidia: "Well now..."
  254. Grace Leonhardt: Grace does seem a touch tenser at that as she mulls over a 'flock' of fossils and a dragon at the lead. "...Which kind of dragon?"
  255. Florges: Florges lifts her finger for a moment before pausing, "...I'm not sure."
  256. Gardevoir M: "We've sighted a total of four dragons that in league with the Aerodactyl. A Rayquaza, a Hydreigon, a Salamence - possibly evolved by now - and some sort of black dragon. We haven't identified that one yet."
  257. Gardevoir M: Gardevoir M crossed his arms, "The black one tends to murder everything in sight whenever it appears. Leaves monstrous scorch marks in its wake and dust for the bodies of its victims."
  258. Florges: Florges huffs, "I almost wish it would appear again so master can defeat it. After all, master recently bested god in combat so it's probably easy for master to decimate the black dragon!"
  259. Florges: Florges leaned forward and snickered, "It's rightful dues are coming!"
  260. Pierce Mars Oswell: "And who is your master, for you to speak so highly of him?"
  261. Florges: Florges pauses and smiles, "She. And she's, of course, of the legendary Type."
  262. Pierce Mars Oswell: "A Steel Type..."
  263. Gardevoir M: "Magearna. She took foothold in the space musuem and conquered the historical musuem next to it."
  264. DNA: (museum)
  265. Florges: "Ah, yes. I am Trinity, a humble Florges and ambasador of master." Florges nods, "This is Gabriel. Masters protege."
  266. Grace Leonhardt: "What do you mean by rightful dues?"
  267. Pierce Mars Oswell: "I believe she was thinking of 'come-uppance'."
  268. Trinity: "A murderous black dragon coming down behind the invasion of Aerodactyl to 'clean up the rest' shouldn't be allowed to continue to exist, should it?" Trinity smiles, "You're free to disagree. Don't let us change your minds."
  269. Grace Leonhardt: "...And you're sure it's coming this way?" She'll say pausing in her speech at this point, 'silent tough type' failing to hold and her worry at what was coming was getting to her.
  270. Trinity: Trinity thinks for a moment, "...No. I'm sure they're heading northwest."
  271. Gabriel: "Yes. My recollection of that area suggests they could be moving to invade the church or the school."
  272. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will deflate a touch, letting out a sigh of relief before a lesser worry of them attacking a church or a school of all places comes up.
  273. Actinidia: ((was distracted, going to take notes now))
  274. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Both of those are possible sanctuaries - and one potentially a literal one. Do you know anything about this flock? If what you say is true, they'd be a danger to everyone, not just us."
  275. Trinity: "Just that they're Aerodactyl." Trinity says with a shrug, "I know they are Flying and Rock Type. That they prefer to attack from the air and to attack in unison, usually singling out any Pokémon that are good at supporting others."
  276. Actinidia: "On the plus side, I could use Grassy Terrain against them."
  277. Gabriel: "They use their mobility and aerial capabilities to great effect. They try to whittle down any groups they can't overcome with sheer numbers, taking out any healers or defenders of the group before regrouping for a more unified attack later to clear out opposition."
  278. Trinity: "They haven't attacked us in quite a while!" Trinity says proudly, "I think they've realized they don't stand a chance against us~"
  279. Gabriel: "I doubt that."
  280. Trinity: "Come now, Gabriel. Be positive!"
  281. Grace Leonhardt: "Hmmm... Well, we appreciate the warning. We'll be a bit more prepaired for them with you giving us a warning on them."
  282. Trinity: "Of course, of course. Friendly neighbors are good to have. We all just want a piece of the pie, right?"
  283. Pierce Mars Oswell: "If I can ask, where is your base located at? In case we need to pay a visit or inform you of anything."
  284. Trinity: "I'll share this gift you've given me with my master. I am sure she'll want to perform a trade agreement with you. We seem to have ended up with wildly different resources. May we return later?"
  285. Trinity: "Uh, ah...I...don't recommend you visit us directly."
  286. Gabriel: "Not if you like living, anyway. We've only recently stopped being under attack and our guards are still on high alert."
  287. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Ah."
  288. Trinity: "However, we're located at the museums. It's...really far east of here, now that I think about it." Trinity rubs her chin, "Well, going east you'll end up just shy of the white dragons home. We don't bother here and recommend you don't either. She's pretty reclusive."
  289. Gabriel: "She's a Reshiram."
  290. Pierce Mars Oswell: "We're on good terms with her."
  291. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Though that tends to be the exception, not the rule."
  292. Trinity: "If you keep going east, you'll hit up the unevolved haven for discarded Pokémon and a supply depot store. There's Eevee in there I believe."
  293. Gabriel: "You have a good ally then. She's quite powerful."
  294. Trinity: "Beyond that is a supermarket which houses cowardly dragons. Perhaps some humans, we aren't sure. But keep going east by the park and you'll end up near the museums, where we are."
  295. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will hesitate before shaking her head. "A... child on a power trip attacked the depot store. We helped as well as we could, and some survivors did get to that haven you're talking about."
  296. Actinidia: "You're always welcome here. We're still getting our food supply down, but our next project is to create a public square where visitors can come and go freely. Once that is complete, we'll have a place for you to rest overnight."
  297. Trinity: "Human child?" Trinity asked surprised.
  298. Actinidia: "Yes..." Actinidia said uncomfortably. "A former human who was fighting and killing pokemon, trying to replicate the original fiction. He attacked us, and in the fight the pokemon who was the child's mother died. We left his father to grieve, but the father and son are both alive as far as we know."
  299. Trinity: "Huh." Trinity said reactively, "That's unfortunate,"
  300. Grace Leonhardt: "She was an ultra beast if you know what that is, and/or if that helps at all."
  301. Gabriel: "And problematic if he continues to replicate that terrible thing." Gabriel says with a huff, "Surely there won't be encounters with nice folk like you every time."
  302. Trinity: Trinity tilts her head, "Ultra Beast? No, first time I've heard of such a thing. Are they noteworthy?"
  303. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Yeah, what with Poke Balls being a thing now."
  304. Actinidia: "They are like legendary pokemon. I don't know much about them, Etna is our expert."
  305. Grace Leonhardt: "It's uh... the latest instalment's game that are legendary pokemon from a different universe... from the game."
  306. Pierce Mars Oswell: He then stopped as if noticing he blurted out something early. "...Oh. Right. I don't think we mentioned that story yet."
  307. Grace Leonhardt: "Well... was."
  308. Actinidia: "So, do you know what pokeballs are?" Actinidia asked their guests.
  309. Actinidia: "Or Apricorn balls?"
  310. Trinity: "The capture devices used to enslave Pokémon?"
  311. Actinidia: "Yes. They exist now."
  312. Grace Leonhardt: "Our friend was almost carried away in one... and a child had a chest wrapped with them. PC 6 ball limits don't work."
  313. Actinidia: "Etna was captured and we negotiated a release. Hopefully the boy will be an ally in the future."
  314. Gabriel: "..." Gabriel placed his hands on his hips, "That complicates things..."
  315. Grace Leonhardt: "There wasn't just the basic one too."
  316. Trinity: "I warn about trusting a human that can do something like that. They're not mature, for better or worse."
  317. Gabriel: "If you can describe your ally to us, we'll make efforts to avoid him."
  318. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Either way, it means that we'll all have to be on the alert. If children have access to those, no one is safe."
  319. Actinidia: "His name is Rouge, he uses a Pidgeot to fly around. He also had a Meowstic." Actinidia gives a physical description, which I did not write down. "He was shockingly mature for a human child. Clever too."
  320. Grace Leonhardt: "A uh... touch troubled too."
  321. Actinidia: "His father killed his mother when the change happened."
  322. Actinidia: "Regardless, he can be reasoned with. If you can speak human."
  323. Trinity: "That's...pretty dark. Though I'm more concerned about maturity and cleverness." Trinity nods, "However, I think we'll go see master and divulge all this useful information! We'll be sure to send someone back~"
  324. Actinidia: "That sounds wonderful. Thank you for coming to meet with us." Actinidia bowed her head again.
  325. Trinity: Trinity nods and pockets her seedlings before waving goodbye to everyone.
  326. Trinity: "Alright Gabriel. Think we should head back before visiting that void you mentioned?"
  327. Gabriel: "...It's pretty close by."
  328. Actinidia: "The underground void?"
  329. Actinidia: "There's a settlement of sorts in the tunnels, comprised of former human parents and the children they protect. They're overly defensive, but their heart is in the right place. Approach with caution."
  330. Actinidia: "They do... odd things down there. Not quite sure what they're up to. Frankly I'm suspicious, but I'm not going to start trouble where I don't need to. Not when their boss knows our faces and vouches for our safe passing."
  331. Trinity: "You get around. Mufufufu."
  332. Gabriel: "Thanks. But as long as they don't provide any unnecessary attacks against us, they'll live. We don't have anything against children."
  333. Grace Leonhardt: "be careful about traveling down there. There's... anti-aura places down there. Or more like vaccum spots. I'm not sure how I evolved down there, but I think that was related. Though it's probably not a good idea to be poking them a lot me thinks."
  334. Trinity: "Only when they're hurting people."
  335. Actinidia: "Which reminds me, my two sons have gone off wandering on their own. Both Snivy, both boys. Alvarex and Setszas."
  336. Trinity: "Ah! If we see them we'll be sure to give them our kindness."
  337. Trinity: "Oh, since they're your sons...are they off-limits, by chance?
  338. Gabriel: Gabriel groans.
  339. Actinidia: "Off limits? You wish to breed with them? You're welcome to try."
  340. Actinidia: "You may have to do battle with Roxy, however."
  341. * Pierce Mars Oswell has not forgotten Roxy is right behind them. He wonders what her reaction wll be.
  342. Trinity: "Oh no, not for me. I prefer women."
  343. Trinity: "I'll keep in mind the diligence of combat. That may only make it more enticing."
  344. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will be keeping a steady face, but she trunks style internally screams at the fact that she was genuinely being the subject of flirting earlier.
  345. Gabriel: "Most of our experience is fighting flying rock pteradactyls in droves. One on one combat would be most welcome."
  346. Actinidia: "We had considered building a battling arena. For non-lethal sport. That way we could practice and train for battle."
  347. Trinity: "It's necessary."
  348. Gabriel: "Nothing is better than live combat."
  349. Trinity: "Ah! Before I forget!" Trinity taps her head, "You'll want to learn an electric attack."
  350. Gabriel: "Oh." Gabriel rolls his eyes, "Right."
  351. Trinity: "The aura helps for reading alien - I mean human - language."
  352. Gabriel: "Water works too, you know."
  353. Trinity: "Yes, well, not particularly well with electronics. You just end up breaking everything."
  354. Grace Leonhardt: "Wait what? How does that work?"
  355. Trinity: "Anywho! We'll be off! Watch the skies~"
  356. Gabriel: Gabriel shrugs to Grace before following Trinity.
  357. Actinidia: "Roxy dear, could you return with the others and let Hjadvir know about the threats from the sky?"
  358. Roxy: "Sure thing. And start that battle arena, right?"
  359. Actinidia: "We should mark where we want it... Gather some of the haulers and have them bring some of the stones that way" Actinidia points northwest, "and bring them around here. We can use them to mark corners."
  360. Roxy: Roxy nods, "Will do."
  361. Narrator: Wanna pause it here?
  362. Actinidia: ((Sure!))
  363. Actinidia: ((just remember to actually talk with Slen next time))
  364. Narrator: Nice note.
  365. Grace Leonhardt: (good deal folks!)
  366. Narrator: XP: 200!
  367. Narrator: Saving campaign and log~
  368. Actinidia: Actinidia gains 200 experience points.
  369. Grace Leonhardt: Grace Leonhardt gains 200 experience points.
  370. Pierce Mars Oswell: 11400 EXP
  371. Pierce Mars Oswell: Pierce Mars Oswell gains 200 experience points.
  372. Grace is disconnected.
  373. Actinidia is disconnected.
  374. Narrator is disconnected.
