Alpha League Maven Type Combinations and Testing Process

To enhance skills of Gym Leaders and League Members alike, the league administration has devised a system to increase the versatility of league members, by making them play other types, other than the one they specialize in. The gym leader may go for a combination involving the type he currently masters or he might try to explore new horizons with different types which are available.


The Maven Type Combinations have been devised and cleverly named by the administration, and they are as follows:

    Supernatural One: Water, Psychic & Flying

    Resistant One: Flying, Steel & Normal
    Delusional One: Normal, Fighting & Ghost
    Corrupt One: Dark, Poison & Ghost
    Forest One: Grass, Poison & Bug
    Mineral One: Steel, Ground,Ice & Rock
    Mythical One: Fairy & Dragon
    Alchemic One: Fire, Psychic & Poison
    Chaotic One: Flying, Electric & Fire
    Barbaric One: Ground, Electric & Fighting
    Hydraulic One: Water, Ice & Steel
    Organic One: Bug, Water & Fairy
    Mysterious One: Dark, Psychic, Electric
    Dusty One: Ground, Bug, Fire
    Natural One : Grass, Water, Rock
    Sacred One: Dragon, Ghost, Ice
    Luminous One: Psychic,Fairy,Electric
    Dawn One: Fighting,Bug,Flying

Requirements: The Gym Leader would need to pass a test with one type with a score of 15/18. Then they must pass another test with their "other type" or "secondary type", dependent on the professor division they've chosen, with a score of 14/18, to qualify for League Professor. The decision on which is primary or secondary can be made after the test. Once a player succeeds with one type he does not have to redo those tests even if they fail the next one. The tests consist of a weakness test, where you'll face a type, that's advantageous against yours, next is resist test, where you'll face a type that is able to resist yours and last is neutral test, where you'll face a type that is neither at an advantage nor at a disadvantage against yours.
