personality:
when she's onscreen especially, she's what you call "relatable". she is known for having loads of derpy expressions and she reacts comically to almost everything. this is why some fans call her a "living emoji". she's a really fun person to be around, most people she's met would agree, but an internal issue for her is that she always feels out of place. from a young age, she's been constantly moving from place to place; losing friends, making new ones, and it got harder and harder to form bonds with people with every relocation. though she's easygoing and talkative, it can be hard to break her shell and get her to be genuinely open with her emotions. she has a cheeky, playful personality, but almost no one gets to see any further than that. also, since her move to seoul, she hasn't stopped shoving dukkbeoki down her throat. sometimes she'll switch it up since she also loves meat, but if she doesn't have it at least once every two days, she'll sulk until she finally does. don't worry, she's only this demanding about food. other than that, she's quite low maintenance, since she grew up with her almost constantly working dad and (now) knows how to cook dukkbeoki by herself (guess who taught her? daddy indeed.) she's never really homesick because she doesn't know what to call "home", but sometimes she's just so lonely she could break. but she doesn't. usually.

background: kind of a sob story, but bear with me. both her parents are korean btw. so; her mom walked out on her at 2 years old. her dad raised her with help from two of his female colleagues (aka.sandra and carrie) until he found a better paying job to support his daughter, alexa. so, at 5 years old, alexa moved from connecticut to north carolina. 1 year in north carolina; and then she spent another year or so in upstate new york. she then lived in vancouver, canada, for 5 years. she considers vancouver as her hometown because that's where most of her memories are. and because she spent the longest time there. she may or may not have encountered mark lee (wink)(she did)(and they knew each other)(they were friends)(aye). she moved again to toronto before she was 13 and stayed there for 2 years before her father made a big decision to go back home and they finally settled down in seoul. in total she's moved 5 times.
