Oxford p. 14-15 - Look at number 12. Take a minute to skim the paragraph and answer the question.
“Love...deactivated specific areas...involved in forming critical social evaluations. That is to say, the object...is  not subjected to any form of negative assessment.”
- C is the correct answer (even though “critical” more often means important or fundamental)
(Definitely make a guess based on your initial understanding of the word, but (if you have time) always double check your guess.)

In reading fact questions and listening detail questions, the correct answer is often worded differently than in the passage or listening.
Cambridge exercise L13 - Identify the correct restatement of each sentence you hear.

Oxford p. 227 has a summary chart for detail questions. Note point 6: Incorrect answers often include words and pharses from the passage, so you need to make sure the entire answer choice means the same thing, not just includes the same words.
p. 230 does the same for inference questions. The correct answer to an inference question is the one that must be true given the information from the listening, even if it’s not stated directly.
