  1. Name: Katamaru Kozuki
  2. Birthday: December 16
  3. Age: 19
  4. Gender: Female
  5. Blood Type: AB
  6.
  7. Affiliation: Katamaru was born into the Kazuki clan and therefore shares heavy ties with the bloodline lineage. With these genetic ties he is gifted with an abnormally high vitality meaning that blows that would typically be fatal to someone without his blood running through them would not be so to her. Of course obvious blows to the heart and cerebrum core remains a sure death.
  8.
  9. Upon reaching the age of 16, Katamaru sought power beyond that of which she could find locally. When she left, she was not on the best of terms with the elders of the clan, and therefor was deemed a deserter. While she had some level of disdain for the clan, she retains a level of affection for her younger brother, albeit that extends no further than wanting to fight him.
  10.
  11. Team; Kazuki Siblings (Former), Kumo-Dawn (Former), Blood (Current)
  12. Clan; Kazuki
  13. Family; Rikimaru Kazuki (Younger Brother)
  14. Rorumaru (Father)
  15. Katsui (Mother)
  16. Borumaru (Uncle)
  17. Zekemaru (Grand Father)
  18.
  19. Personality; Katamaru appears to be friendly to others. She shows respect to everyone she encounters, even to enemies, regardless of her affairs with them. She is quite rowdy when the prospect of competition arises, always wanting to be apart of the action. When ever she is defeated, she has an almost comical fit of sobbing, usually in a dark corner.
  20. With those traits, she is thought to be woman with a kind heart. However, although she never intentionally kills her enemies, she shows no remorse if she does. Death has no affect on her, she is able to look past death as if it were just a casual occurrence. She is almost always seen wearing a smile on her face, coming off looking some what ditsy. This is merely a care free attitude to hide the fact that she's extremely manipulative and calculating.
  21.
  22. Appearance; Katamaru is distinctly taller than most other women, though her slender build gives her a more lanky look, than an amazonian one. She is fair skinned with long, dark red hair. Her hair has an unkempt style about it, while maintaining beauty at the same time. She has bangs that cover most of her face, extending down to her upper lip. This does not completely cover her face, rather it simply provides a darkness to her appearance.
  23.
  24. Her usual choice of clothing is a Chinese-style, black sleeveless dress. The collar and shoulder linings of the dress are dark blue. On the front of her dress is the Kazuki Clan crest; a sunflower. The petals are a bright golden-white color, which outline the center pollen, which is even blacker than the dress she wears. This secretly symbolizes the darkness behind the Kazuki Clan. The lower part of the dress is made up of only a front and back tarp, while the sides potentially reveal her thighs. She wears long, dark blue leggings, leaving a few inches of skin between her waist and the lining of her clothing. At the top of these leggings are a similar fashion as that of the collar and shoulder of her dress, except these are colored black.
  25.
  26. On her feet are the traditional shinobi sandals, colored dark blue. Her toenails, and finger nails are both painted black.

  29. PLOT:
  30.
  31. Heir to the Kazuki Clan Arc -
  32.
  33. Timeline - Five years before the birth of Katamaru Kazuki.
  34.
  35. Borumaru was the younger brother of the clan's new head, Rorumaru. After the passing of their father, the brothers fought over who would claim leadership. While normally, a leader would name their heir, Zekemaru chose not to do this, simply because he had hoped the two sons would lead the clan together. Rorumaru was on board with this plan, Borumaru however, was not, and wanted to claim power over the illustrious clan himself.
  36.
  37. What followed was internal strife between the two. Both brothers had supporters for their leadership, and even those that were willing to fight for them. Years of diplomacy ensued between the two, similar to that of a vote of presidency. It was on the day of Katamaru's birth, that the two brothers finally concluded that there would be no peaceful resolution.
  38.
  39. Many died, though not all were members of the clan. Mercenaries had been hired from both sides, which only increased the death toll. The battle ended with Borumaru offering to surrender. With a heavy heart, Rorumaru executed his younger brother in front of the remaining members of the clan. That man then became the official head of the Kazuki clan, leading it to what it has become today.
  40.
  41. Siblings Arc -
  42.
  43. Due to the fact that Rorumaru was usually occupied with diplomatic affairs regarding his position, his off spring, Katamaru and Rikimaru were often in the care of their mother, Katsuki. The times he did spend time with them, however short, were precious moments of son/daughter and father bonding.
  44.
  45. Being only one year apart in age, Kata and Riki would often be put together as sparring partners, excelling in the art of Wing Chun. They had more than one dojo throughout their land, but they had won many awards within the ranks of all of them. From the ages of six years to fourteen years, the two would find that fighting was their hobby of past time.
  46.
  47. In their later years, Kata being fifteen, Riki being fourteen, the Kazuki clan issued a tournament to prove who was the best among them. Both siblings fought valiantly, showing respect to their opponents, and giving a great show of competition to those who were fortunate enough to be watching.
  48.
  49. However, in the semi final rounds, Kata used a very subtle attack that inexplicably stopped the heart of her enemy. The male she fought coughed up blood, then fell to the floor in death. Rikimaru went on to become the winner of that tournament, gaining the respect of many elders and higher ups.
  50.
  51. The Blood Fist Arc -
  52.
  53. Unbeknownst to society, there were two that practiced in an art long forgotten. Blood Fist; a style of combat that had such lethal attacks that, if anyone else in the world caught wind of its activity, the using clan would be eradicated in an all out extermination. It was for this very reason... that it was kept secret that the siblings had been training in this style of combat.
  54.
  55. A flashback reveals that an 11 year old Katamaru had dug up information on the ancient members of the clan, and the complex combat that they studied. A style of martial arts that was looked down upon because of the simple goal that practicing it entailed. Death was the only outcome in mind for the creators of this style.
  56.
  57. It was at that time... that Kata realized that she would not attain the power she sought simply by training with her brother. In her spare time, she'd come to this same location alone to practice what was written in the ancient scriptures. By the age of 13, she introduced her 12 year old brother to that very same art.
  58.
  59. They both knew the severity of the technique, yet for their own reasons, they continued to practice it. By putting their hands together and maintaining an intense stare, they formed an oath, swearing to never use the technique. After this long flash back, Kata is seen being scolded by her father. He tells her to never use the ability again, and to keep it a secret that she knows of it. She does not reveal that her brother is capable of the same style of combat.
  60.
  61. Power Arc -
  62.
  63. Ironically, Kata is the more calm one between the two siblings, yet it was Rikimaru who sought to win with the traditional Wing-Chun fighting style. Initially, Kata was proud of what her younger brother had accomplished. She smiled when he was celebrating, even celebrating with him.
  64.
  65. Over the following year, Kata and RIki would meet to fight one another using the style of Wing-Chun, their clan's famous style of combat. Each time they fought, the battles would always conclude in a draw. There was not a single time when both of them did not put all of their being in to their matches. Simply put, it was when they were fighting, that they were the most passionate.
  66.
  67. At the closing time of the year, Kata had shown an increased level of aggression, coming at her younger brother with more and more force. It was not long before... the words Blood Fist were lingering in her mind during their encounters. They were never on bad terms with one another.
  68.
  69. On one night, Kata approached her father in his study. It had been an entire year since they had really spoke to one another. Kata could see the disdain he had for her, and while it did indeed hurt, she had more pressing matters to attend to with the clan leader. She begun to profess her ideas to lead the clan in a new direction. She wanted to bring back the study of that same ancient style. The Blood Fist.
  70.
  71. Rorumaru scoffed in disgust, immediately throwing himself into a rage. The more Kata listened to him, the more she felt appalled with her clan. The name Kazuki was beginning to disgust her. The man she called her father was now a symbol of weakness for her. She knew how powerful this man was, which was why she resorted to one method of proof that her way was correct.
  72.
  73. She engaged him in combat, surprising the man, but he defended himself accordingly. However, when Kata attempted to use the Blood Fist to end his life, the male revealed his true strength, sending the girl flying through the doors which she entered. She was beheld to an audience of on lookers. With one choice remaining, Roru demanded that a hearing would be held to decide her fate.
  74.
  75. For two months, Kata was held in the Kazuki prison cells, under the offence of intending to murder the village head. The trial was held in the town square, where she was bound in chains, surrounded by an audience awaiting to hear her fate. Only Rorumaru, Katsui and a few advisers knew of Kata's true offence, though to the public, she was simply on trial for murder, with no further details. Of course, Rikimaru had an idea that murder wasn't the only thing she was here for.
  76.
  77. The attempt to murder a clan leader was a serious offence, no matter who the offender was. With the majority of judges coming to the same conclusion, Rorumaru declared with a heavy heart once more, that he would execute his own family member. The rage Kata felt hearing this conclusion was unlike anything she had experienced before.
  78.
  79. Using a technique of the Blood Fist, she showed the entire clan what her true crime really was. By biting her own tongue to the point of drawing blood, she swallowed the liquid, enabling her the incredible strength that comes with the knowledge of the art. She snapped the chains as if they were nothing, surprising even her father.
  80.
  81. Tears were flowing from the eyes of Katsui, watching as her daughter was engaged by the skilled numbers of Kazuki clansmen. If it was not for the Blood Fist technique, she would have been defeated the moment she broke free. The entire clan was surprised to see how fast she could move, how strong she was.
  82.
  83. She purposely was only using defensive maneuvers, but once the challenge proved too high, she begun to initiate the deadly techniques of the forbidden art. To the horror of many, she killed six attackers, before she made her escape. Before leaving, she gazed back to her younger brother, before disappearing in a display of tremendous speed.
  84.
  85. The Years Go By Arc -
  86.
  87. Immediately after making her escape, Rorumaru ordered that she be captured. For the better part of a year, she spent her time moving from place to place as a drifter, only to evade the clutches of the Kazuki Police. She had been quiet, keeping to herself and making an effort to maintain as little human contact as possible.
  88.
  89. The only time she'd ever speak to another person, was when she was paying for a room, or purchasing a meal. She'd never stay in one place for more than one day. Always on the move, the Kazuki Police were always a step behind.
  90.
  91. In terms of making money, she'd only take jobs that were completely off the record. To name what profession she had taken, she'd be known as a bounty hunter. Once a year had gone by, it seemed that the efforts of the Kazuki Police were beginning to diminish. Then, she found that she could remain in a single place for longer than a day. Upon moving on, she soon realized that the Kazuki had given up on her.
  92.
  93. It had turned out that Rorumaru had falsified her death, ceasing the mission to capture her. It was rumored that she was killed on a mission, an attempt to hunt a bounty that went incredibly wrong.
  94.
  95. Kata had gone from a silent traveler to a rowdy drinker, usually participating in competitive sports in bars, ranging from Arm Wrestling, to sparring and even dancing. The darkness that had appeared to surround her had seemingly disappeared, but in reality, it was just hidden beneath her cheerful demeanor.
  96.
  97. Deciding now to stay in one place, she became a member of a guild known as Kumo-Dawn, in a land far enough from the world she used to know, that she'd feel safe enough to let go of the past. Years had passed now, Kata was a beautiful young lady at the age of nineteen. She had many friends, many people that she'd risk her life for.
  98.
  99. At least... that was how it seemed. In life threatening situations, she'd always appear to be prepared to die for the ones she loved, when really, she'd manipulate the situation to her preference. No matter how close she seemed to any of them, she'd never be willing to sacrifice herself. She was number one.
  100.
  101. On a job to capture a drug trafficker, she was accompanied by two of her friends. The job went sour, resulting in Kata and the others getting ambushed. Being surrounded by so many foes, Kata was given no choice but to react with deadly force. To the horror of her comrades, she violently killed many of the would-be assassins. It was then, that her "friends" saw the truth hidden within her. With blood covering her fair skin, she did not even bat an eye as the enemies fell to their deaths.
  102.
  103. Kata continued to fight for the guild. She had convinced her comrades that the deaths of those men was merely an accident. It's not like Kumo-Dawn was filled with philanthropists.
  104.
  105. The Return of the Blood Fist Murderer Arc -
  106.
  107. Kata was now nineteen and a half, and she had taken to informing trusted members of her guild about her heritage. Her comrades couldn't believe it, they had heard of the famous Kazuki clan, but the fact that she was one. They were astounded, however, she didn't tell them this to woo them.
  108.
  109. She also appealed to their desires, having known them for nearly three years now. Whether it be money, power, sex or competition.
  110.
  111. With their help, her plans to usurp the title of the Kazuki Clan was within her grasp. Each person she called a comrade was exceedingly strong in their own right, and very selfish, to her advantage. She'd use them to assist in gaining power.
  112.
  113. On her march to the location of the Kazuki Village, there was one thought that clouded her mind even more than killing her father. The thought of seeing her little brother again filled her with such joy, that she almost cried knowing that she may have to fight him, too.
