Apocalypse Dream

Dream of apocalypse.
Probable reasons for having dream:
- Prior to the dream I was being told about the plot of XCOM
- People also were talking about monster designs in some shows and I overheard them
- I also seem to recall reading someones impressions about monster designs from another show I like.

The dream started out as a space experiment where we send giant space ships sporting Huge man-made ecosystems,
the intention of the experiment was to see how creatures would adapt to the (I'm assuming mostly filtered)
space radiation and low gravity environment in earths orbit.

I was at the time being shown the dream through the perspective of someone who had the job of re-supplying gas mixtures
necessary for the atmosphere of the environment.

I was guessing it had been at least a few centuries since the project started as I was the last supply to be sent out
for it. Something went wrong though and we were sent equipment for the supply job we weren't familiar with, so I
had to figure out how to work it quick because apparently someone sabotaged the ships so that they would fall to earth sooner than expected.

I ended up completing the mission successfully but at the cost of 'my' life, by the time I finished I had already drifted too
close to the earth to be pulled back to orbit safely so I was going to fall attached to the outside of the ship.

The perspective switched from the astronaut to a young boy who happened to be near the landing zone of one of the
ships, there were a few men and women around me though who witnessed the crash with me.
As soon as the crash happened I saw tentacles reaching out crawling on the ground from it, but they weren't tentacles.
They were rapidly growing vines, and once it stopped, the tip of it grew into a giant pod containing baseball sized seed-looking capsules.
The capsules ruptured, spraying acidic substance everywhere. I managed to dodge it along with the others but now I think an actual non-plant
tentacle or a very long snake-like thing was creeping up from the ship.

I decided to run towards the right of the ship and away from it but there was a naked blue-eyed green-skinned girl my height running towards it.
As she stopped to look at me I could see she had plant-like leaf hair and no chest or genitalia, and when I looked at her mouth
It was just a mouth-shaped opening with no clear lips, and when I got closer she screamed and she was about to attack me
with some sort of mouth vine but I ran away before they could do anything.

After I returned to my group we decided it was best to travel the path opposite to the trail the ship took to the landing zone.
The problem with this was, the ship leaked and seeded the area with monstrosities from aboard it.

As we crept towards our intended escape route we saw something on the road that looked similar to a dinosaur but it was humanoid, about 9 feet tall,
THICK, and had scales/fins sorta like a combination of a stegosaurus and a saichania(http://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/worldofprehistory/images/e/eb/Saichania.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20120625125032)

After we waited for it to leave we made a full-on rush to the forest(not without reason, the forest wasnt that thick and there was a community on the other side)
However even that was full of strange dino-like creatures, some similar to the one we saw but different, I can't describe them it's hazy.

A few of us we picked off because they couldn't climb the trees in time, however the trees weren't safe either.
I climbed a regular not-fucked up tree, but the trees somewhat near me were actually carnivorous trees that could eat through trees
using sharp and short claw-like limbs and caught stuff that fell off them in a big pouch that opened off the tree trunk.
I'm assuming here that if you get trapped it'll sting you with some sort of paralytic so you cant break the pouch.

As I'm jumping from tree to tree with the two people left with me (one got caught by a tree)
I finally run into a building and jump into its window. There is a cat in the room.
The entire building aside from this room has fucked up creatures in it.
and then my perspective switches from the boy to some heavy looking dude who still doesn't feel safe enough.
So he opens the window to try to jump to another one but as he backs out he gets bit and hooked into in the back by some bat-like creature.

I am left with the cat and I cannot find the other person that was with me so I wait it out in that room where the dream ends.
