You might have heard wrong about us, you might think us some kind of monster but the truth is far from it. The corrupt media is against us, trying to silence us, and it's controlling the narrative to make us appear something we are not.

A shill, also called a plant or a stooge, is a person who publicly helps a person or organization without disclosing that they have a close relationship with the person or organization.

You'll find this people trying to create infighting or posting inflammatory comments that would make GG look bad.

Do not feel disheartened if you are called one at times. We are public and anonymous and we frequently infiltrated by this kind of people so we are a bit wary of any atypical behavior.

An Internet bot, also known as web robot, WWW robot or simply bot, is a software application that runs automated tasks over the Internet.

These usually post gibberish or nonsensical comments. They also post out of context stuff. Their objective is to derail/confuse/smear us.

Third party people affiliated neither to GG or the opposition to sow discord just because.

These are the people that despite what the media and themselves would want you to believe, are not in any way a central point or even related to the core of our consumer's revolt.

They crave attention either for profit or to further an agenda thus we don't call them by their name.

When we began to question, they coordinated a campaign to defame us and discredit our worries.

Twelve articles were released within 24 hours decrying that we "Gamers" were dead or a similar message.

Very few news outlets have given us a voice or even touched fairly on the matter for most of the sites involved in the slandering of GamerGate are owned by a Gawker Media. Some other outlets have bought into their narrative completely without seeking to know our side of the story.

The Wikipedia article is biased against GamerGate thanks mainly to admins like Ryulong. He's dedicated himself to edit constantly the article, censor neutral sources and block people that ask for the other side of the story. This admin has a history of bad behavior and not only on GamerGate related articles.

The Fine Young Capitalists is a campaign launched by Matthew Rappard to assist women game developers in creating video games to raise money for charity. Indie game developer Zoe Quinn attempted to sabotage the event. GamerGate supporters did not stand for this and donated to the campaign which resulted in the creation of Vivian James.

Diceeurope was mistakenly attacked by a person who's been negatively engaging GamerGate. This resulted in the company, fruit exporters, showing support to GamerGate and plans for a game and a fund raiser.
