Pale Moon Facebook text field anomalies -- IRC log

<kevjonesin> Hi y'all, has anyone else been experiencing anomalies when interacting with Facebook text fields in Pale Moon Version: 26.1.1 (x86) on Linux?

<sugis> Define anomalies?
<sugis> I think I noticed the spacebar / arrow keys behaving extremely strangely, jumping around within the text box, although it was intermittent enough that I didn't spend much time thinking about it

<kevjonesin> Cursor will 'jam' at times and not be able to move before/after a certain point with the arrow keys but mouse can place past the hangup point.

<sugis> Yeah.  I've had similar problems

<kevjonesin> @sugis: Yes! stuff like that! It happens to varying degrees depending on which distro I happen to be on. It's BAD on Mint 17 Xfce, pretty annoying on Manjaro Xfce and LXQt, and still present on Puppy tahr.
<kevjonesin> I was thinking was something on my end until I noticed it on multiple distros.

<sugis> I just chalked it up to my slow but inevitable descent into insanity.

<kevjonesin> Ditto! How does one go about filing a bug? Just the normal forum, or is there a palemoon.bugzilla or such?

<sugis> I think the forum is better for "interactive" bug busting, and the GitHub issue tracker for confirmed specific bug reports

<sugis> I think this would fall into the latter

<kevjonesin> I'm leaning latter as well as it seems beyond any particular hardware/distro config.

<sugis> Only Facebook, I think.

<kevjonesin> That's where I've noticed it for sure as well.
