  1. <kevjonesin> Hi y'all, has anyone else been experiencing anomalies when interacting with Facebook text fields in Pale Moon Version: 26.1.1 (x86) on Linux?
  2.
  3. <sugis> Define anomalies?
  4. <sugis> I think I noticed the spacebar / arrow keys behaving extremely strangely, jumping around within the text box, although it was intermittent enough that I didn't spend much time thinking about it
  5.
  6. <kevjonesin> Cursor will 'jam' at times and not be able to move before/after a certain point with the arrow keys but mouse can place past the hangup point.
  7.
  8. <sugis> Yeah. I've had similar problems
  9.
  10. <kevjonesin> @sugis: Yes! stuff like that! It happens to varying degrees depending on which distro I happen to be on. It's BAD on Mint 17 Xfce, pretty annoying on Manjaro Xfce and LXQt, and still present on Puppy tahr.
  11. <kevjonesin> I was thinking was something on my end until I noticed it on multiple distros.
  12.
  13. <sugis> I just chalked it up to my slow but inevitable descent into insanity.
  14. <sugis> Good to know I'm not the only one losing it ;)
  15. <sugis> I use Fedora, so it's there too.
  16.
  17. <kevjonesin> Ditto! How does one go about filing a bug? Just the normal forum, or is there a palemoon.bugzilla or such?
  18.
  19. <sugis> I think the forum is better for "interactive" bug busting, and the GitHub issue tracker for confirmed specific bug reports
  20.
  21. <kevjonesin> ['ditto' to relief it's not just me]
  22.
  23. <sugis> I think this would fall into the latter
  24. <sugis> but I'm no authority :)
  25.
  26. <kevjonesin> I'm leaning latter as well as it seems beyond any particular hardware/distro config.
  27.
  28. <kevjonesin> I found my way the github page; will post in a bit. https://github.com/MoonchildProductions/Pale-Moon/issues
  29. <kevjonesin> @sugis, On your Fedora system, have you just noticed the behavior on Facebook or elsewhere as well?
  30.
  31. <sugis> Only Facebook, I think.
  32.
  33. <kevjonesin> That's where I've noticed it for sure as well.
