  1. i absolutely hate fl studio's sample pitch system which makes some sort of sense but doesn't. what hurts mostly about it is when you're in a project with a bpm change, bpm automation changes the duration and pitch of all pitched audio files set on "auto" (because most of the re-sampling settings in fl studio aren't always suited for certain sounds and either makes them sound like mangled messes or just nothing) which yes, makes sense seeing how fl studio thinks that the bpm is static (when really it's changing via automation) but hurts because...y'know, this changes the pitch and duration of an audio file set on "auto." It hurts me more because you realize this once you finish a project, and render it. The rendering process in FL works from start to finish (if you're looping a song, it goes from last 5 bars to the beginning to the last 5 bars) and when the rendering is done, it literally stops at the end, it doesn't go back to the first bar of the song to reset absolutely everything in terms of automation. So say for example you have a bpm change at the end of your song, you finish it up, you're happy, you render it, and then you close it. at this point, you get a prompt asking you if you wanna save the changes to your project, and of course you wanna do that! so you save it. a day later or whatever you think "oh i wanna make some changes", so you open it back up, you playback and you think "what the fuck happened to the audio files"

  3. automatic resampling, bpm changes, and the rendering system happened, and you saved it! it partially feels like it's your fault (especially to me when I fuckin' KNOW that it happens but I keep on FORGETTING UGHHH) so you angrily spend 20 minutes (or possibly more if you have a plenthora of audio files, I feel bad for those who ONLY work with audio files) going through every audio file on the list, switching them from "auto" to "resampled" and back to "auto" so the channels for the audio files can realize that you're not working at 70bpm with a 128bpm locked audio file, you're actually working at 128bpm.

  5. this all can be solved by telling not only me but any other user that keeps on experiencing this by telling them to stop being lazy fucks (I mean I've told my self that in relation to this lol) but goddamn
  6.
  7. I just wanna save and quit after I render a project
  8.
  9. I hope all of that made sense because if not maybe I'm crazy AND lazy
  10.
  11. solution to this might be telling image line to add playlist position resetting to the next version of FL lmfao
