#====[What are the pro's to playing a HC character?]===#

* 33% bonus extra experience gain per kill
* A challenge of your ability to survive in Merentha

#====[What are the con's to playing a HC character?]===#

* No pets
* No partying with non-hardcore players until level 90
* If you are killed by a monster or receive a non-recorded death (such as being killed for a quest), you have to wait a year to pray (IRL time)
* You cannot be given gold or items by other players

#====[Do you always have to wait a full year to pray if you die?]===#

You can pray before your year is up, but there is a penalty (stats/levels) for doing so.

#====[How do the pray early penalties work?]===#

If you pray immediately you will lose roughly 10% of your stat total worth of stats and up to 10% of your current level.
For example, you could lose 20 out of your 50 str, but only 5 out of 200 charisma.

The longer you wait to pray, the lesser the penalty.  Every 30 days, the penalty is reduced by 1%

#====[Can you pray early as much as you want?]===#

No, there is a cooldown of six months on using the pray early feature.
For example, if you pray early and die a month later, you will not be able to pray early for another five months.

#====[How does partying with non-hardcore players work?]===#

You must be level 90 or above to party with non-hardcore players.  The non-hardcore player/s must also be level 90 or above for you to be able to party with them.
Non-hardcore players do not receive the 33% bonus experience hardcore players receive when partying with a hardcore player.
