  1. The large minotaur sat in the little shack they have built over the last few days. The whole hive was in uproar with the revolt going on, thus it was easier then before to move about, and as this one had gotten out of the shackle of the radio factory, the freedom came with many things, food was now easier to come by, as the blockade from underhive stopped wildlife and plantlife no longer, and while you did have to fight the zelouts still left down there, it was no worse then dealing with people who ran the factory....At least now you could kill them. But this one wasn't too interested in fighting, as another inspiration came ot them, all those years sitting in teh factory assembling parts lead to some understanding of basic radios, and with ability to now move and take stuff more freely over the last few days this horned beast had been putting together electronics from remains of few old buildings, fighting off few looters along the way. Now, up high on remains of the old support, in a crack stood a shack in which using a generator and some wires a frankensteinian machine sparked into action, held together with wires and glue the crude screens and speakers sparked into life, as the minotaur turned the dials to listen to signals. First came the call of action from the deeps of the hive, the things that lead to braking of shackles, then came the chatter from other hives, as there chaos was taking over as well.
  2. Few hours were spent listening to the things going on on the world, when some other sound was interfering with the make shift broadcast, some other signal was sent out at close frequency, as minotaur tried to tinker with the machine to hear it clearly, but it was just too weak...it came from somewhere odd, as the beast grabbed the whole machine and carried it up to the taller part of the make shift village on the collum holding up the hive, where they put the wires into the hive structure itself, using the whole hive as antennae...And finally the signal was caught. The crude screen would flicker into life with the flakey image of hodded figure sitting in darken room.
  3. "Ahoy, Ahoy, is anyone listening, was the experiment working"
  4. Minotaur looked at the screen confused as they nodded "Yes, we hear you"
  5. The figure would then turn to the screen, leaning in to get a better look, revealing five glass lense for eyes, all glowing green "You aren't part of my forgeworld, where is this wonderful speciment present"
  6. "Underhive of Solirum-17" The minotaur replied, somewhat confused after spending good while trying to remember the markings off the boxes they used to sent off.
  7. "Solirum-17...yes...yes can see it on the map...." the robed figure froze, as if computing as it would let out a loud "WWHOOOOO! WE SUCCEEDED!"
  8. The signal was almost cut off by the cheers as the minotaur looked rather confused by the reaction of the person after hearing the answer
  9. "Is...that good?" the minotaur asked slowly
  10. "Yes!" the figure would lean in, revealing heavy cybernetics on their long face, revealing where metal was not covering it, patches of scaled hide "It means we are out of that accursed sector. Tell me miss, are you a member of the mechanicus? You lack the cybernetics but clearly have knowledge how to use the technology correctly, ahh doesn't matter, we got whole forge for cybernetics, your world must be running low, please stay on for a bit, I shall return in a few minutes, we must discuss a lot of things"
  11.
  12. The minotaur sat there, frozen, confused with a nervous smile in their face....There was a madman on other end of this chatter, and few other souls hidding away in this cluster have heard them, as group of smaller mutants and abhumans stood nearby listening to all this, looking at the minotaur with eyes full of awe "You are one of dem tech people!?"
  13. The minotaur was gonna have a lot of work to do in some time it seemed...
