  1. 2 Looks Like I’m A Monster
  2. Well, I hate to say it, but I’ve been reincarnated as a spider.
  3. Although I’ve accepted that fact, what do I do now?
  4.
  5. Munch Munch!
  6.
  7. For some reason, I heard a threatening sound.
  8. Un.
  9. It’s no good to turn my eyes away from reality.
  10. Right before my eyes, there’s a spider army that’d probably be considered my siblings.
  11. They’re the only ones who can make the sound.
  12.
  13. I glance ahead quietly.
  14.
  15.
  16. Munch Munch!
  17.
  18. Hogyaa!?
  19. What are they doing!?
  20. Huh, are they eating?
  21. They’re preying on each other!?
  22.
  23. All I can see is the struggle to live between my siblings.
  24. No no no no!
  25. This is bad, this is really bad!
  26. Why do I have to fight against my blood-related siblings!?
  27. Ah, it’s for food.
  28. They’re all hunger.
  29. In fact, I’m hungry too.
  30.
  31. Ha!?
  32. No, no.
  33. I escape from reality again.
  34. In such a battlefield,, I’m just an innocent girl that will fall into the clutches of evil men in the blink of an eye.
  35. Literally, it’s a metaphor!
  36.
  37. Fight
  38. Tools
  39. Escape 
  40.
  41. The only way to get through this is to beat a retreat.
  42. Should I fight?
  43. Impossible.
  44. I am a genuine go-home club member.
  45. There’s no way that I can fight with such a violent group.
  46. Ah! I look just like them.
  47.
  48. Un.
  49. I should escape if I’ve got the time to think about something as useless as that.
  50.
  51. ZUN!
  52.
  53. What is it now!?
  54. A sound and vibration from the rear.
  55. When I turned around, there was a huge spider.
  56.
  57. Oh! Is it mother?
  58. Or is it father?
  59. This isn’t going anywhere.
  60. I’m confused now.
  61. Isn’t that spider way too BIG!?
  62. It’s probably ten times my size.
  63. Was there a spider that big on Earth?
  64.
  65. Hyoi, Chomp.
  66.
  67. Ah.
  68.
  69. The huge spider stabbed a smaller spider with its claw and ate it.
  70. Like it’s eating a snack.
  71.
  72. You too, Mother!?
  73.
  74. It looks like it thinks with its stomach.
  75. I should run away from here, and just try to survive for now!
  76.
  77.
  78.
  79. I escaped at full speed.
  80. I finally calmed down after I was tired of running, until I couldn’t even move anymore.
  81. Looking behind me, there weren’t any spiders chasing after me.
  82. Ah, I though I was gonna die.
  83. Death immediately after I was born is a bad joke.
  84.
  85. But now that I’m conscious, I have to think about things.
  86.
  87. I am currently a spider.
  88. It’s a fact I just have to accept.
  89. I mean, there’s no technique where a human can easily jump their own height, or run on vertical walls.
  90. What am I talking about?
  91. It’s a story about escaping.
  92. With so many spiders around, it’s impossible to escape just by running straight.
  93. It’d be like charging into a bargain sale where there’s a crowd of old women around.
  94. What a reckless act!
  95. No, well, I hadn’t even done something like that before.
  96.
  97. Anyways, when I was escaping, I jumped and ran on the wall, just like a ninja, and escaped from the crowd of spiders.
  98. When I was running, I had an uncomfortable feeling because of the number of legs, but somehow I managed to move them properly, without getting tangled up.
  99. Is this the so-called natural instinct?
  100. Un, well, being able to move my body without tripping over myself is a good thing.
  101.
  102. So if I’m a spider, then what was that super huge spider I saw?
  103. Un.
  104. Considering the situation, was that really my mother or father?
  105. I don’t know about spiders, but a parent who eats their own child shouldn’t be in the natural world.
  106. Well, I guess it’s a race where they start preying on each other from the moment they’re born.
  107. So it’s not that strange ethat the parent would eat its own child.
  108.
  109. If that huge spider is my parent, then will I become that size someday?
  110. I’m starting to feel sick just thinking about it.
  111. No, a spider is a beneficial insect that helps people. Isn’t that better than my previous life?
  112. That’s kind of depressing.
  113.
  114. Ah, no, no.
  115. Let’s go back to what I was thinking about.
  116.
  117. I can’t figure out the size of that huge spider by my own body.
  118. Because I don’t know how big I am.
  119. If I’m just the size of like a fingertip, then it’s fine.
  120. Then I can understand the size of that huge spider.
  121. Still, it’d be around the size of a tarantula.
  122. But if my size is bigger, then that huge spider must be a new kind that’s undiscovered on Earth.
  123. That’s still okay, but I just experienced reincarnation like in a fantasy, so I probably shouldn’t be that optimistic.
  124.
  125. To confirm it, I have to find out my size without delay.
  126. Is there anything that I can compare my size with?
  127.
  128. I looked around my surroundings.
  129. It seems like I’m in a rather big cave.
  130. Although there’s no light, I can still see pretty well, though it’s a bit dim.
  131. I looked around restlessly.
  132.
  133. Oh, Th-This is…!
  134.
  135. What’s on the ground was people’s footprints.
  136.
  137. Oh!
  138. There’s the footprints of several people here!
  139. In other words, it means that somebody came here before.
  140. That means there’s humans in this world.
  141.
  142. I was deeply moved when I knew there were still people.
  143. But I also realized a terrible fact.
  144.
  145. My body was much, much bigger than the footprint of a person.
  146.
  147. Un.
  148. Assuming the person was around 170cm tall… that makes me approximately 1m in length.
  149.
  150. Aah, un.
  151. I’d had a suspicion since I saw that huge spider.
  152. No matter how I think about it, I’m not a spider that’s living on Earth.
  153. In other words, I’m on a different world, unlike the Earth, and no matter how positively I think, I’m definitely a monster… Thanks a lot!
