The Wind Waker TAS situation

This pastebin will be covering the current state of emergency behind The Wind Waker Tuner TAS.

My name is TrogWW, and since early November, I have been working non-stop on a new TWW TAS featuring the ability to use the tingle tuner (with thanks to twitter.com/dragonbane0 for making this a reality)

This TAS features several never before seen glitches and tricks to save time, thanks partly to the tuner,(such as fire and ice arrow skip) and partly due to the time and effort I have spent testing and optimizing (such as 2 cycle Jalhalla).

As it stands, the TAS is about to enter the final dungeon, Wind Temple, with less than one hour left to go. ~200k frames and ~180k rerecords.

However, on April 10th, during the middle of a TASing session, my hard drive inexplicably crashed. After taking it into my local repair shop, they told me that the hard drive has ceased to function, and will not mount to any of their computers.

I was told that I will need to purchase a new hard drive, and that they will need to send my old hard drive to a data recovery center. I was given an estimate of $70 for the new hard drive and $300+ for the data recovery.

Currently I am a full time college student and unable to work. While I plan to eventually pay this, it would likely not be until mid summer until I actually can make this step. By that point most of my free time will be gone, and the rate of progress will be stunted dramatically. It's hard to say when/if it would finish.

Since day 1, I have made it a mission to put in as much love and dedication as I can into every frame. I am on the homestretch, and I so passionately want to finish this for all of you.
