Hi all,

I hope everyone has thoroughly enjoyed their holidays. I look forward to catching up with you all and hearing about the exciting things you got up to.
As the holiday season draws to a close, new opportunities await. Not only for you personally, but with LEOs. Opportunities that will strengthen your friendships both at school and in our community. These opportunities start now.

Within the first two weeks of school, the executive team will formally invite some of you to be the project coordinators for 2017. In addition, we will be setting dates for projects, planning our term approach and passing some initial items that will get the ball rolling for the year. Invitations will be presented to the new project coordinators at our first meeting.

Olivia and I are in the process of drafting a meeting roster to ensure our meetings run smoothly and productively.

With a new year, we also welcome new ideas. We hope to introduce the concept of “WIP” (Work in Progress) meetings. Held weekly, these meetings will serve as updates between Project Coordinators and the rest of the executive team. We believe that the chance to regularly touch-base with our Coordinators will ensure that we are on track to making our events as successful as possible.

Part of Olivia and I’s mission statement is ensuring that we constantly seek feedback to make your club the best it can be. Goals and mission statements like the ones made at our first meeting are crucial to the effective operating of the club. As such, we will be reviewing them weekly at every full team meeting.

As your President, I look forward to helping you achieve both your personal and LEOs goals this year, and I am very excited by the challenges and opportunities that 2017 brings.
