Since 1.09 is gunna be nerfing the Scholar into a 12.5% DMG buff to sorcery, I thought my own discovery would work now. Link at the bottom.

Alright, you're gunna replace the Scholar's Candlestick with the Crystal Sage Staff.

The reason for this is because an offhand staffs steady chant affects the DMG the stave's spells in the main hand do.

Since Crystal Sage Staff has an increased sorcery DMG with its Steady Chant(40%) compared to a Scholar(12.5%) + Court steady chant buff(12.5%), you can just use the CSS to cast its steady and use the Court for the rest of the DMG.

You get 15% more DMG as CSS gets a 40% increase while the Court + Scholar will only get 25% with both combined and steady chanted.
