- So what do you think he's looking for :>
- he wants you to start by saying what is your risk assessment technique
- i doubt that anyone will design their own
- so you say you'll be using fault trees or fmeca
- then you need to show how that technique works in the context of driverless cars
- so grab a random third party effect
- say the driverless car failing to stop a pedestrian and hitting it
- and draw a fault tree
- however, there are still no proper refs for this, so we're working around it
- then in the next section you have evaluation
- you show the fault tree to a number of users along with some brief (probably verbal) instructions for reading it
- and have them do a questionnaire on how well they understood the causes of the failure
- then have them do a nasa tlx form
- next section, you describe the results - out of x people, y people understood that..
- maybe some bar charts too
- then you need some conclusion where you summarise the users's accuracy in understanding the events that caused the failure
- and also their overall thoughts on how ok is the technique (that's what tlx is for)
- do you understand now, why i'll be submitting it on monday
- I understand what you are saying, I believe you are right
