1. >"Next up, a friend of the groom would like to say a few words for the happy couple."
2. >Slipping away from Julie was tricky. The fact that they have a banquet hall full of relatives and in-laws staring at them didn't help either.
3. >Still, his weak excuse worked. Likely because Julie was just to happy to care.
4. >He felt like a heel for doing this.
5. >But it had to be done.
6. >Hopefully Judy found the message he wrote on her seat marker.
7. >When he opened the doors to the cloakroom, he found himself literally breathless.
8. >She was there.
9. >Really there.
10. >And she looked so beautiful, just standing there in her little blue dress.
11. >'She should've been the one wearing white today' Nick thought to himself.
12. >"Nick," Judy looked a bit confused and apprehensive, "What's this all about? It's your wedding, shouldn't you be out there?"
13. >"I know, I just... I just wanted to talk to you in private."
14. >"Aren't you worried someone will come looking for you?"
15. >"Heh. Nah. I got Flash to say a few words, so they'll be busy for at least an hour."
16. >The two shared a short and awkward laugh at the idea.
17. >"Soooo..." Judy inched closer, "What's on your mind."
18. >She seemed nervous.
19. >He WAS nervous.
20. >"Listen, Judy, I--"
21. >God, her eyes.
22. >"I--"
23. >Her nose.
24. >"That is--"
25. >Her lips.
26. >"Nick." Judy placed her paw on his chest. His heart raced faster than he could've imagined. "Nick, you're married to Julie now."
27. >His body was vibrating. His mind was on fire. His paws were damp and trembling.
28. >He was a grab bag of emotional cliches.
29. >And he couldn't take it anymore.
30. >"I don't WANT Julie! I-- I want YOU."
31.
32. >He just couldn't contain it anymore, the words came stampeding out of his mouth.
33. >"I've always wanted you. Ever since the
Bellwether
incident. I became a cop just so I could get closer to you. I made up things like Movie Monday and Cinema Sunday because I was too afraid of asking you out on a damn date! Every moment I've spent with you has been a blessing and a curse. Do you know what it's like? Can you imagine how it feels?"
34. >Judy tried to interject, but there was no stopping Nick now.
35. >"And I tried. Oh my god, do I try. I try every single day! A-a-and Julie! C'mon, we both know what's going on there. It's- Rediculous! I can't be with the rabbit I love, so I try to fill the void with a fox whose name sounds similar?! How pathetic is THAT? How INSANE is it that I just got married to a woman I don't have any feelings for? And I just can't stand it anymore. I can't stand lying to myself."
36. >It finally stopped, and Nick found himself panting and almost on the verge of a heart attack.
37. >And Judy just stared at him with her big, sad, beautiful eyes.
38. >"I'm the rabbit you love?"
39. >Her voice sounded more broken and vulnerable than he ever heard her before. It felt like the world fell out from beneath him.
40. >His eyes were way past the point of welling up with tears.
41. >"You're the only person I love. And... And if there was anything I could do to make you love me back. Anything I could do to change the fact that I'm a fox. Anything to never scare you again. I'd give up my teeth. My claws. My--"
42. >"I love you."
43. >She was crying.
44. >He was crying.
45. >And then it just suddenly happened all at once. Judy tugged his tie and wrapped her mouth around his.
46.
47. >The two of them stumbled back and forth, trying not to fall over each other. Eventually Judy fell back against the wall of the cloakroom and wrapped her arms around his shoulders.
48. >She let out a light sigh when he felt his hands cupping her rear; holding her closer to his face.
49. >The kiss grew deeper, until their mouths parted open and they could feel their hot breath on each other.
50. >Nick cocked his head to the side and went back in, now probing the walls of her mouth with his rough tongue. Judy's soft little tongue flicked rapidly against his.
51. >Any rational thought about finding a better place to do this was just gone from their minds.
52. >Attempts to say something to each other just resulted in them whispering each other names.
53. >"Nick."
54. >"Judy."
55. >A whole building of people were blindly enjoying the reception, unaware that the happiest couple was embraced in this small room.
56. >Nick freed one of his hands to explore her body. To touch all those areas he pined for.
57. >Her little tail.
58. >Her soft cheeks.
59. >Her ears.
60. >That one gained a very pleased gasp from Judy.
61. >He always suspected that playing with her ears turns her on.
62. >Judy, on the other hand, raised one of her feet and started rubbing it on his crotch.
63. >The feeling was intense, and seemed to last forever.
64. >His other paw, the one holding her up, started acting on it's own; sliding Judy's dress over her hips and up her waist.
65. >Realizing what he was doing, he stopped and broke off their kiss to apologize.
66. >"It's okay, don't stop."
67. >In an instant, Nick spun them around and had her laying on the floor, his trembling hands struggled with the zipper before Judy stopped him and helped.
68. >There was a moment of awkward silence, with Judy splayed out under Nick, her underwear dangling off one foot, and him kneeling over her, holding his erection.
69. >The sound of clinking glasses could be heard from the reception.
70.
71. >Nick lowered down and positioned himself for entry.
72. >He looked deep into her eyes and then slowely entered her.
73. >The banquet hall erupted in applause.
74. >"Does it hurt?"
75. >"Hff-- No, it's fine."
76. >"Should I--"
77. >"No, keep going."
78. >The feeling was like nothing he ever experienced before. Not like with Julie.
79. >This was tight.
80. >And snug.
81. >And warm.
82. >It felt so right.
83. >It felt so perfect.
84. >The rythm of their hips started slow and gradualy picked up speed.
85. >Judy was nothing like Julie.
86. >Julie always talked dirty, ike some whiney porn star.
87. >Judy's sounds were soft and little, like her.
88. >"Oh Jude..."
89. >"Don't stop, Nick. D-d- Ohh. Ohh."
90. >No one knew how long they kept going, but when it was over, they were panting heavily and struggling to find the words to say to each other.
91. >"So," Nick finally said, trying his best to be his usual sly self, "Know any good divorce lawyers?"
92. >Judy burst out laughing, and Nick followed suit.
93. >This moment between them felt just so wonderful and perfect.
94. >"Oh Nick, I--"
95. >"OH MY GOD!!!"
96. >The two of them went white as sheets, realizing they didn't hear the door open.
97. >And there she was.
98. >Julie.
99. >And she was pissed.
100.
101. >"Uh, hey. Honey. Um. Funny thing. I was helping Judy find her..."
102. >"Coat!" Judy barked, as she did her best to fix her clothes.
103. >"Yeah! And, well, she slipped. And I slipped."
104. >The look on Julies face was slowly going nuclear.
105. >"And, uh, my pants fell down."
106. >She was nearing 100%
107. >"And Judy's dress fell..."
108. >"Up! Haha, isn't that crazy Julie? Things don't fall up."
109. >The two tried their best to give her reassuring smiles, but no one is that dumb, and Julie stormed off with blood in her eyes.
110. >"Do you think we should go?" Judy asked.
111. >"Nah, she'll be fine."
112. >The screach of the microphone cut through the air.
113. >"Dear guests, allow me to say something about MY HUSBAND!"
114. >"Okay, we should go."
115. >And they never looked back.
116.
117. >It had been a quiet drive so far.
118. >Not much to say after the free-for-all that the wedding reception turned into.
119. >But eventually Judy broke the silence.
120. >"Hey, Nick?"
121. >"Hm?"
122. >"When you were confessing your feelings for me back there..."
123. >"Yeah?"
124. >"Was some of that actually lyrics from What's Going On?"
125. >"..."
126. >"It was, wasn't it?"
127. >"Maybe."
128. >"Well, you know what THAT means."
129. >Moments later.
130. >"AND I SAID HEYYEYAAEYAAAEYAEYAA!"
131.
132. >Finnick didn't care much for the DMV, but his liscense need to be renewed and he hadn't seen Flash since "The Wedding Incident", so he figured he'd take the chance to catch up.
133. >"Hey Flash."
134. >"Hello...Finnick...How're...things...going?"
135. >"Oh can't complai--"
136. >"With..."
137. >Happens every time.
138. >"Nick...and...Judy...staying...with...you?"
139. >"Oh," Since Julie burned down Nick's apartment, the two of them had been crashing at his place. "It's fine. I'm glad they finally got together. Course, uh, they're still in the frisky phase of their relationship."
140. >"I...could...imagine."
141. >Flash punctuated this with a ridiculously slow wink.
142. >"No, you really don't."
143. >Flashback.
144. >Walking up the stairs to his apartment, Finnick could hear the cacophany of noises coming from his place.
145. >The banging of the headboard.
146. >The squeeking of the bedsprings.
147. >The grunting and panting.
148. >"You have got to be kidding me..." He muttered as he fiddled with his keys.
149. >Suddenly the sound of a trumpet blared out, and Judy started loudly moaning.
150. >"View halloo! View hallooooooooo!"
