  1. A. The sources of food which have impacted me the most would be quick and healthy foods that are high in energy. The best example of this in my diet would have to be the eggs and the snack vegetables such as celery and carrots. Certain negatives of my diet would have to be the cherry coke zero due to the artificial flavorings and the food colorings which are in it and a generally large amount of sodium for the little amount of food I consume. Also, there could be more foods added to have greater variety to my diet.
  2. B. Some of these things which could be corrected about my diet would be the inclusion of more leafy greens, antioxidants and protein sources that are not coming from nutritional supplements. By adding in a protein source like fish or legumes, I could benefit greatly. Leafy greens such as kale and collard greens could be added for greater amounts of vitamin K and phytonutrients. Antioxidants such as berries or fruits juices like V8 could be added to get a wide range of nutrients.
  3.
  4. These 3 days is not typical of my diet usually. The 2nd through 4th were very stressful times for me in terms of family and school work. I was extremely depressed and wasn’t enjoying being social, so interacting with my family or friends and even going out to eat did not happen. While my nutrition was bad, I also slept on average 4 hours a night.

Also, there could be more foods added to have greater variety to my diet. I am below what is needed in carbs in all areas. Fiber is generally equal to the rest of the foods nutrients I need, but because of the low amount of food, I would have to increase how much I ate by almost 4 times as much. I am only ok in amounts of protein, which is surprising. ALL of my nutrients are under. My saturated fat intake is ok! The vitamins in almost all categories are under when I don’t include supplements.

In reality, my iron is actually above average.
  7. Risk Factors:
  8. Because of my low standard of health, I am at risk for malnutrition due to the mild starvation which happened between the 2nd and 4th of March. While the diseases of hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, obesity and osteoporosis are usually related to over eating, my lack of eating could lead to them. Heart disease could happen by the weakened state of my heart dealing with an influx of unhealthy food. My lowered metabolism would lead to obesity if a large mass was eaten later. Diabetes could develop because of a weakened bodily response affecting the pancreas.
