I urge you to oppose H.R. 4405: "Preventing Gun Violence Act." This bill expands the list of prohibited individuals by including people who have been adjudicated of a violent crime as juveniles. While preventing gun violence is important, giving others a second chance is, too. When a person receives an adjudication, they proved that they were abiding by the law and plan on doing so in the future. This bill offers no help to those who have reformed and changed their ways.

In the interest of offering a second chance to those that have proved themselves, please oppose this bill.
