  477. Grace Leonhardt: (How would I go about that?)
  478. Narrator: Ready Action is to pick them up. And yes, they're like, 1 lb of weight or something. And unconscious. You can pick them up without issue.
  479. Narrator: So you moved and then picked them up. So that's all your actions for now, but they're in your inventory at the moment.

  530. Uraruren: "...Huh. That didn't do very much. I'll just try the other thing I can do then."
  531. Pierce Mars Oswell has received initiative.
  532. Etna: "..."
  533. * Etna is irked by frank being an idiot.
  534. Avara: i do not think that word means what he thinks it means.

  558. Grace Leonhardt: Grace Leonhardt is healed and gains 6 health.
  559. Avara: wrong impersonate.
  560. Frank: "You figured it out so easily. You must be my counterpart. The yin to my yang. The dark to my light..."

  563. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will scoot away now with the hurt little fellas in tow.
  564. Grace Leonhardt: (So yeah, that's my turn for right now.)

  566. Frank: Frank spends both his actions flying straight up.
  567. Frank: Frank goes up 10 meter(s).
  568. Etna has received initiative.
  569. * Etna considers distance.
  570. Avara: a character at E0 could hit a character at E1 without any issue. large is effectively E1, so count starts at E2
  571. Narrator: Correct.
  572. Avara: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9... just short of having him in my regular range for an e-strike
  573. Avara: long range is -2 to acc, right?
  574. Narrator: Correct.
  575. Avara: can i jump and shoot in mid-air?
  576. Narrator: Yes, you can.
  577. Avara: i'm gonna do that.
  578. Narrator: Strength (Jump) test.
  579. Etna: 3+2+2+2=9
  580. Narrator: You jump up 2 meters.
  581. Narrator: I hope that's enough for you.
  582. Etna: 1+2+1+3=7
  583. Avara: WHIFF
  584. Frank: Frank doesn't even evade, he can't! He's fleeing! But destiny has other plans and thus, moves the attack away from him...
  585. Cutiefly 5: "Oh uh, I uhm, guess I will leave then. Thank you, green lady. I hope I never see you again."
  586. Cutiefly 5: Cutiefly 5 attempts to escape battle! Cutiefly 5 will escape next round.
  587. Uraruren: "Hey! HEY! Bring your butt BACK HERE!" Uraruren creates a bubble of purple aura and fires it at Frank! vs. DEF
  588. Uraruren: 5+5+2+2=14
  589. Actinidia: Actinidia waved goodbye to the fleeing Cutiefly.
  590. Avara: stunt!
  591. Actinidia: ((knock prone!))

  595. DNA: kek
  596. Frank: Frank has been slain. Mid-air! And falls to the ground, suffering an additional 7 damage as he makes a little 'pwiff' sound upon hitting the pavement.
  597. Frank: Frank goes down 10 meter(s).
  598. Uraruren: "Hah! Some invincible thing you are!" Uraruren chuckles, "Note to self, purple other bugs."
  599. Etna: "Actually, it's his other Type that made him weak to poison. Bugs aren't affected either way."
  600. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...wait. He was the only one that kept on fighting...and he's the only one that's dead now?"
  601. Etna: "Seems that way."
  602. Pierce Mars Oswell: "I guess the rest of them weren't quite into the spirit of his idea..."
  603. Narrator: Considering everyone else is running away, I'll end combat.
  604. Pierce Mars Oswell: "But...how on earth did I ..."
  605. Etna: "How did you what?"
  606. Pierce Mars Oswell: "It was like running over flowers. I couldn't even feel them as I ran past."
  607. * Etna steps away from Frank and Ura, not wanting to watch the feast.
  608. Pierce Mars Oswell: "I'm used to tackles meeting at least some resistance, but...this?"
  609. Uraruren: "I shall remember to purple the other thing then."
  610. Uraruren: Uraruren pauses, "...What was the other thing anyway?"
  611. Etna: "Fairy. It's harder to detect. Pretty things and pink things have good odds of being fairy. We'll help you pick them out."
  612. Grace Leonhardt: Grace walks over holding two of the KO'd bugs. "I wonder how many times they were successful?" When Grace catches Ura's actions, she holds them behind her back and tries to scoot so she won't see the KO'd ones.
  613. Etna: "And Mars, that's probably because you were doing Super Effective damage--your energy type is strong against theirs."
  614. Actinidia: "Once, maybe twice, maybe less. They haven't had much time as pokemon."
  615. Avara: Take A Breather?
  616. Avara: ohey there's a macro
  617. Pierce Mars Oswell: "So, whatever I was doing was...strong against its energy?"
  618. Grace Leonhardt: "So uh... what should I do about these two? I didn't want to leave them out in the open hurt... or near a car fire."
  619. Actinidia: Actinidia, taking a five minute breather, is healed and gains 9 health and 5 power.
  620. Uraruren: "Okay. Purple pretty and pink things."
  621. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...You'll have to give me the run-down sometime about what is and isn't good."
  622. Grace Leonhardt: Grace Leonhardt, taking a five minute breather, is healed and gains 7 health and 5 power.
  623. Pierce Mars Oswell: Pierce Mars Oswell, taking a five minute breather, is healed and gains 8 health and 5 power.
  624. Etna: "Right. You remember when I told Abdua about Types?"
  625. Uraruren: Uraruren, taking a five minute breather, is healed and gains 8 health and 5 power.
  626. Etna: "I'll try and cover it all, but it's not all obvious."
  627. Etna: Etna, taking a five minute breather, is healed and gains 6 health and 6 power.
  628. Actinidia: Actinidia loses 1 power.
  629. Pierce Mars Oswell: wait, should be 9 HP
  630. Actinidia: 1+3+3+2=9
  631. Pierce Mars Oswell: did I put only 2 VIT into my token
  632. Actinidia: Actinidia fails to use Synthesis.
  633. Actinidia: Actinidia loses 1 power.
  634. DNA: ...no, I just capped out
  635. Actinidia: 6+5+6+2=19
  636. Actinidia: Stunt
  637. Avara: act: YOU WILL BE HEALED
  638. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Yeah, I remember you bringing that up."
  639. Actinidia: ... so what can I do with this...
  640. Narrator: You can critical it and heal more.
  641. Narrator: I'll allow it.
  642. Etna: "Right. So you're Rock and Steel. Rock's strong against bugs, Steel against fairies. A lot of your Moves will be those types too, I think."
  643. Narrator: And reduce its cost by 1 PP.
  644. Actinidia: Heals can critical? That is awesome. So I will deal Super Critical Hit
  645. Etna: "Steel's also good against rock, and both are good against Ice. So you could beat me up in a fight pretty easily if we ever came to blows."
  646. Actinidia: 13 HP to Etna
  647. Etna: Etna is healed and gains 13 health.
  648. Actinidia: "You look as fresh as sunshine." Actinidia smiled at the job well done.
  649. Etna: "Thanks again, Act." She smiles armly.
  650. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Here's hoping I never have to fight you."
  651. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will hold out the two hurt bugs, "Can you help them too? Considering their friends already booked it, I think they would too at this point when they're able.."
  652. * Etna then looks to Mars. "Rock's also good against fire and flying things. Steel's weak to fire, ground, kung-fu magic, and... I don't think there's much else. But you really want to avoid martial artists--Fighting is strong against steel and rock both."
  653. Etna: "Fighting types are double-strong against me, too."
  654. Pierce Mars Oswell: "So that means Grace would beat me in a fight, most likely."
  655. Etna: "Right."
  656. Grace Leonhardt: "I'm Fighting to begin with, so I suppose I'll try to take hits if we come across any."
  657. Etna: "You're fighting now. You'll be Fighting/Steel eventually."
  658. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Wait, so Grace is...also going to turn into an armored dino-.....dog?"
  659. * Pierce Mars Oswell may be overthinking this by just a smidge.
  660. Etna: "She's going to be taller, more jackal-y, and get metal spikes."
  661. Grace Leonhardt: "Oooh... That's right. Oh! I think grass is going to be able to take hits. And uh... I think so. I turn jack- yeah, exactly."
  662. Etna: "So... is everyone all rested up?"
  663. Actinidia: "We're looking for books on pokemon, correct? We'll all seen soon enough what we'll turn into. At least illustrations of what we will become."
  664. Uraruren: "I'm as fired up as always."
  665. Etna: "Yeah. We can see our future forms when we get this job done and we're back in the restaurant."
  666. Grace Leonhardt: "I'm ready to go, but I'm not wanting to leave these two alone out cold..." She'll say meaning the bugs in her hands.
  667. Actinidia: "I would like to hurry, so this barrier doesn't fade. It is easily the biggest energy burden I've attempted to use so far."
  668. Cutiefly: Cutiefly is 0'02'' tall.
  669. Etna: "You could hide them in the shade somewhere nearby. They'll know the way back to where they're staying if they're in familiar territory."
  670. Grace Leonhardt: "That... mibht be a good idea actually. Maybe I could open the door to a car a crack, and put them in there? Uh... the one that's not on fire."
  671. Etna: "Not in the car. And not in a door that'll shut."
  672. Etna: "They might not be able to open it."
  673. Pierce Mars Oswell: "I'd say under a car, but that has its own problems..."
  674. Actinidia: "Place them under those trees, with a leaf over each of their bodies."
  675. Grace Leonhardt: "That's actually a good idea Act. Though probably the same leaf so they don't think they're all alone..." She'll say going to put that plan into action.
  676. Avara: and once the hapless ne'er-do-wells are hidden away, AWAY WE GO~! TO ADVENTURE!
  677. DNA: AGREED
  678. Grace Leonhardt: AAAAADVENTURE!
  679. Actinidia: And away~
  680. Narrator: Beautiful.
  681. After the encounter with the Cutiefly brigade, you're not stopped by anything else between the streets of your last encounter or the residential area of the downtown DC area.
  682. Avara: yay~ we're uninhibited by enemies~
  683. The main street leading down the residential road has a row of houses along both sides. Some utterly destroyed, some full of houses, some burnt down entirely and others damaged but still livable and standing.
  684. The area is oddly devoid of humans, Pokémon or chaos. It's entirely quiet and still.
  685. With the exception of two Huge sized creatures standing in the middle of the street. They're a fiar distance from one another but don't appear to be fighting. Just standing and staring at one another.
  686. Grace Leonhardt: "Okay... this is... kinda creepy to see things and them like this..."
  687. * Etna will continue walking at a slower pace, in case either of them wants to talk. She's looking for the place their directions told them about, hoping it wasn't burned down.
  688. DNA: What do they look like?
  689. One looks like a white equine resembling a qilin or centaur with a gray, vertically-striated underside while the other a white-colored, bipedal Pokémon with a long, voluminous wispy mane that streams out from the upper side of the snout and outwards from its head.
  690. Actinidia: "This is unusual." Actinidia said, "I wonder if they drove everyone else out...?" Actinidia stopped in place and listened to the two huge creatures from a distance. Perception (hearing) incoming.
  691. * Etna stops upon recognizing them.
  692. Actinidia: 3+3+3+3=12
  693. Etna: "Stop, everyone."
  694. * Etna looks to the two. "Uh... Greetings."
  695. * Etna has slight nervousness to her tone.
  696. DNA: Arceus already, that was fast
  697. Avara: i blame you, DNA
  698. * Pierce Mars Oswell does as Etna requests.
  699. DNA: ...
  700. Narrator: You're a fair distance away. I gave descriptions early on.
  701. Avara: ... no i don't. i blame lacroix
  702. Avara: okay, cancelling words.
  703. DNA: guuuuuuuh.
  704. Grace Leonhardt: "Wait, uh... holy hell... Am I seeing those two right...?"
  705. Etna: "So... that's Arceus, and that's Reshiram. One can be any Type, the other is... Dragon and Fire."
  706. Etna: "They're both extremely powerful."
  707. Narrator: So, Rob succeeded his listen check.
  708. Pierce Mars Oswell: "I'm guessing the size isn't their only measure of power..."
  709. Etna: "Some Pokemon fall under the classification Legendary. They have higher strength, speed, durability, and so-on compared to regular Pokemon."
  710. Etna: "They're also extremely few in number--one of each kind per game, and not all kinds in each game."
  711. Actinidia: just say it out loud
  712. Grace Leonhardt: "They're usually like... mythology related too. Or at least in the games."
  713. Actinidia: Actinidia begins to relay the conversation she hears...
  714. * Etna falls quiet as Act speaks.
  715. Grace Leonhardt: "They embody something too. Like fire or something. Arceus tho... uh..."
  716. Reshiram: "I'm giving you a pass. I've incinerate every other asshole here trying to steal everything from my house. Fuck off."
  717. Arceus: "Don't be a fool, Reshiram. The pleasantries and pain of the previous life are a thing of the past. We must embark on the future that is coming and protect what is truly valuable. The children."
  718. Reshiram: "And stop calling me that. My name isn't Reshiram its Radegonda. I'm a surgeon! In gastrology!"
  719. Arceus: "You were human. You were a surgeon. You're now a Pokémon and have been chosen by destiny to help lead the plundering youth of our world into the future."
  720. Reshiram: "Yes. I was born a woman and grew up a woman and became a doctor. This weird shit happened randomly overnight. There's no reason why we all just won't turn back! And when we do, my house will still be my house."
  721. Actinidia: "Hmm... maybe we could help smooth over the conversation. If we're polite about it. What do you think?" Actinidia asked before continuing to relay what she heard.
  722. Etna: "... We'll have to approach either way. Best do it while they're on talking terms, not fighting."
  723. Actinidia: "I agree. They have human wants and needs still. They'll be easier to get along with."
  724. Grace Leonhardt: "I uh... don't think we should get involved with this... Uh... Radegonda said that they were gonna toast anyone that just takes something."
  725. * Etna is going to start approaching, if the others don't stop her.
  726. Etna: "From her house. Not from any house. We can explain why we're here--if she's local, she might know her neighbors."
  727. Actinidia: "We're not going to that house. And if we are, she should know the ones who asked us to go."
  728. Arceus: "There's no telling if this phenomon is temporary or permanent. But we can't just assume things will go back to normal tomorrow. Unlike you and I, the children of humans haven't changed. And are weak and vulnerable to predation from Pokémon who aren't ready for this new world. If humans are to survive at all, we must keep them safe. How could you, Reshiram, turn your back on such a task when you saved lives as a human before?"
  729. * Etna is going to walk slowly. Not quietly--not trying to sneak, not hiding her footsteps. Just, slowly, trying to be obvious in her non-hostile intent.
  730. Grace Leonhardt: "Well... that's fair..." She'll say as she hesitates before slowly following after Etna.
  731. Actinidia: Actinidia is walking near the front as well. Wearing a vest and pointed hat. A backpack and a belt with bags at her side, she was clearly someone who knew how to dress herself before the pokemoning of the world.
  732. * Etna will clear her throat to get their attention, in as polite an interruption as can be attempted.
  733. * Pierce Mars Oswell is walking quietly as well, though in the middle of the party, in front of Grace if possible.
  734. Narrator: Both of them will turn to your group.
  735. Etna: "Uh... Hi. Sorry to interrupt, but we couldn't help overhearing what you were saying. Would you mind if we give our two cents, and explain why we're here?"
  736. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will resist the urge to hide behind Etna, and shakily stand next to them instead.
  737. * Etna uses a human-origin turn of phrase to indicate previous humanity!
  738. Arceus: "Ah! More of the locals! Yes, this is fantastic~ Please, share your two cents."
  739. Reshiram: Reshiram doesn't say anything and just watches your group.
  740. Etna: "So. On the way here, we ran into some Cutieflies that were trying to steal from everyone coming through. Stuff like that'll threaten anyone, kid or pokemon alike. If Rad... Rod... Radegonda..." she has trouble with the name, only hearing it second-hand. "If she wants to defend her home and get rid of bandits, that helps kids staying in the area, right?"
  741. Etna: "No bandits, no kids getting hurt. A safe territory. Sounds like aces to me."
  742. Grace Leonhardt: "U-Uh... we-we're here to just pick up some stuff from another group's once home... like books on pokemon and stuff..."
  743. Etna: "And yeah--we're picking up some stuff for a kid and his family. Food, clothes, some books, things like that. The Rice family, you might know them."
  744. Pierce Mars Oswell: "And I dunno if we're all locals. I'm originally from out-of-state. Can't speak for the others, though."
  745. Etna: "Out of state as well."
  746. Reshiram: Reshiram's mane flutters at the mention of the Rice family, "They're alright? Oh thank gawd."
  747. Arceus: "You're welcome. But I didn't do anything."
  748. Reshiram: "No one meant you!"
  749. * Etna snickers.
  750. Grace Leonhardt: "Same on out of state too. Wait, you know the Rice family?"
  751. Actinidia: "So you know about pokemon" Actinidia asked Arceus.
  752. Arceus: "Very much so. I know all about it. I also know what's happening outside of this country. I'm originally from Canada."
  753. Etna: "So, Arceus, is that an understandable compromise? Radegonda making this her territory to protect? She's basically already doing it." Etna looks to Reshiram. "They're staying in a restaurant a ways into the city. Only the youngest is still human, so they're having some communication issues, but we're helping. I can speak human."
  754. Reshiram: "Yes, they're very nice people. They'd make me dinner every other Tuesday. Tell them to meet me at my house. They can stay with me. It's the least I can do."
  755. Actinidia: Actinidia nodded, then turned to the new Reshiram. "And how much do you know about pokemon?"
  756. Reshiram: "Not a damn. I didn't bother with the kids show."
  757. Grace Leonhardt: "They'd probably appreciate that. Heads up though, The daughters are a bee comb, a black lizard, the parents are a bull and a cow, and the son's... well... the only human that remains of that family."
  758. Arceus: Arceus sighs.
  759. Arceus: "That would be a fair compromise if it were a...well, a fair compromise at all."
  760. Grace Leonhardt: "Wait, Arceus, you know if this is happening outside of DC and the states?"
  761. Arceus: "This area is incomprehensibly small in comparison to all the children of the world. I've been recruiting strong Pokémon like Reshiram here in order to perform a world-wide sweep of child rescuing."
  762. Arceus: "Indeed I do."
  763. Reshiram: "Radegonda for fucks sake! Rad-e-gon-da!"
  764. Etna: "Well, yeah. That makes sense, Arceus, but if the kids are going to be safe, they need safe places to be. Radegonda staying -here- might extend to more and more parts of the city, or beyond, in time. It's up to Radegonda. Forcing her won't work, and just saying the same thing repeatedly also won't work. But giving her a job she wants to do anyway? That's kind of how you run a rag-tag group."
  765. Etna: "I guess you're only looking for Legendaries for your gang?"
  766. Actinidia: "Well I will tell you what I know. You are what is called a "legendary pokemon". One of the kind in that show. Very powerful. And if you have been killing indiscriminantly whomever crosses you, you will become very, very feared. Humans who know who you are will fear you, pokemon who hear of your deeds will fear you. Whether this lasts a day, months, years or forever, you want to be very careful of what enemies you make."
  767. Arceus: "At this point in time? Yes, that's all I'm recruiting. It's what I know are guarenteed to be super-powers at this time. And unfortunately I have the added worry that some unsavory characters may have also been granted such power. And will undeniably need to be stopped before they end more childrens lives."
  768. Actinidia: "You are a very important person right now, whether you want it or not. And the choices you make are going to have some pretty dramatic effects if you're not careful."
  769. Etna: "Right. So we'll keep an eye out for you and yours going forward, if things change. We want to help people too, but we're below your punching range right now. At least you know not just your group's going to be doing good, too."
  770. Reshiram: "And all I care about is keeping my house. I just finished the mortgage on it two months ago!"
  771. Arceus: 'You...you realize that doesn't matter right now...right?"
  772. Reshiram: "It matters to me. I didn't work my butt off only to have a would-be god come demanding I drop all I'm doing just to fly around the world and ferry children for you!"
  773. Etna: "Radegonda, Arceus -is- right about that part. Even if we all turn back, there's not really going to be any of the typical structure and circumstance that makes up human society. What's yours will be yours, even as a human, only so long as you can hold it."
  774. Grace Leonhardt: "Dude, it just hit me that I don't have to worry about student loans."
  775. Pierce Mars Oswell: "I don't think anyone said anything about flying around. You could always stay here, within your range of influence."
  776. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...oh yeah. Huh."
  777. Reshiram: "You didn't. He did."
  778. * Etna sighs.
  779. Etna: "So. Yeah. I don't think either of you's going to make any headway convincing the other of your stance so soon. Maybe come back and talk again after a while? You'll know where she is, at least."
  780. Etna: "Oh. And what -is- happening outside the city?"
  781. Arceus: "Okay, I can see this is irritating you beyond what I was hoping. But I do hope you come to reconsider this in the future. Because the future depends on your assistance beyond this patch of land. And the longer it takes for us to gather together for a better cause...the more lives are lost."
  782. Arceus: Arceus shrugs at Etna, "Pretty much the same."
  783. Grace Leonhardt: "Oh God... I hope the kids are fairing better..."
  784. Arceus: "Everything everywhere became Pokémon. Most creatures died in the initial change."
  785. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Everything everywhere? ...How do you know?"
  786. Arceus: "Some fell from the sky, some drowned, some were crushed by their tiny environments. And then the human designed crafts were left without people to control them and did what they do without such guidance."
  787. Arceus: "From cars to planes to trains to cranes to drills, etc., etc., etc."
  788. Etna: "... So its' devastation and chaos around the place, then..." Etna is saddened by this, sulking a bit. "I don't really know where we're going to go, once we finish helping the Rice family."
  789. Pierce Mars Oswell: "How do you know all that, though? Unless you've somehow been all over the country, or even the world, in the space of a few hours, you couldn't know that - and how would that even be possible?"
  790. Actinidia: "We can just go around. Communities still exist, clans are forming. The more we can find and bring together the better off we'll be."
  791. Etna: "He mentioned he's from Canada. Everywhere might be hyperbole--but he did fly over, it sounds like."
  792. Etna: "Honestly, it's kind of tempting to go somewhere we can claim as our own and sort things out there. Helping people, doing what we have to to keep the peace, or... whatever. Just. Something to do, and a safe place, even if we have to tame it ourselves."
  793. Etna: "I don't know where we'd go, though. Somewhere suited to all of us would be best."
  794. Arceus: "While some people ignored the reports that came in from other countries. There were at least six hours before Canada was hit by this. And I've seen here and Canada. The reports I've read about the rest of the world matches up with what I've seen in two countries."
  795. Arceus: "At the moment, they're in the same state. But only at the moment. As time moves forward I can't say all the places will be on the same page. I want to keep the children out of the chaos for as long as I can."
  796. Etna: "Oh, Arceus. If you're helping the kids, you'll probably want to make sure you can speak with them. Can you?"
  797. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...then this thing that has happened has...basically rewritten the world..."
  798. Arceus: "I can, yes. I was surprised when I found out others couldn't."
  799. Etna: "It's a little difficult to hear through, but I can too. Only one in my group."
  800. Actinidia: "The cities aren't going to last forever. Skyscrapers only stand with constant maintenence, in a few decades they'll all crumble."
  801. Reshiram: Reshiram flaps irratibly, "I'm staying here. I like the little groups suggestion. If I think I'm needed by you and give more of a shit than I do now, then I'll join you."
  802. Etna: "We'll want to move to suburbs and countryside areas, then."
  803. Etna: "And... yeah. It sounds like this meeting's coming to an end. Good luck, Arceus, and as much of a joke as it might sound, Godspeed in your quest."
  804. Actinidia: "Maybe. It's going to be a gold rush of resources in the city. We're the ones who know what's valuable. Word will spread quickly."
  805. Actinidia: "So somewhere close, but safe is our best bet."
  806. Grace Leonhardt: Grace nods her head. "Please do your best Arceus. We'll try to help out any kids we come across ourselves."
  807. Arceus: Arceus nods, "I'll be off then." Arceus begins floating into the air before turning to your group, "...And while I may not have asked for your assistance that doesn't mean I don't desire it. I just don't want to be sending you to your deaths. So, evolve. Survive and evolve and next we meet I may also try to drag you into this."
  808. Arceus: Arceus gave a long look at your group and then the same to Radegonda and flew off into the sky.
  809. Actinidia: "We'll see. I am Actinidia."
  810. * Etna nods to Arceus. If he stays long enough to hear names, she'll add, "Etna the Amaura."
  811. Reshiram: Reshiram gives a heavy sigh and slumps some, "Thank you guys for this. He wouldn't budge and I got this feeling if I attacked him he'd wipe the floor with me..."
  812. Pierce Mars Oswell: "I go by Mars."
  813. Etna: "... He might well have. He's a bit stronger than you at base, and he can probably change his types. So he'd resist you and hit hard."
  814. Etna: "You'll benefit from looking at the books we're getting for the Rice family too, when you get the chance."
  815. Reshiram: Reshiram smiles a bit, "Actinidia, Etna and Mars, huh? I'll remember it."
  816. Grace Leonhardt: "Well, if you consider yourself a friend of the Rices, I don't see any reason not to try and help you out. My name would be Grace by the way. Heheh..."
  817. Reshiram: "I can't read or speak to humans anymore. I've tried reading a few things from yesterday and its all gibberish."
  818. Etna: "I can speak, as I said to Arceus. And I'm planning to help the Rice family learn to speak too. And Austin can read. So it'll be a group effort."
  819. Actinidia: "Maybe it's something you can learn. You said you were a surgeon, studying should come easy to you."
  820. Reshiram: "If it can, then psh-yeah!"
  821. Reshiram: Reshiram points to the house across the street with one of her wings, "That was their house. So if you came to get stuff that's probably where you want to go. But when you go back to them? Tell them to try to make it back here. Once they're here, I'll keep them safe."
  822. Etna: "Never thought I'd grow up to be a teacher..." Etna nods to Radegonda's words. "We'll pass on the message."
  823. Actinidia: ((How long did the trip take?))
  824. It's 12:20pm.
  825. Etna: "Might help if you went to where they are to escort them, since they're not really combatants. But you probably want to stay here. We might have to try escorting them."
  826. Actinidia: "It didn't take long for us to get here. Only an hour or two."
  827. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Guess we'll escort them, then. If we take the same route here and back again, there shouldn't be any problems. Hopefully."
  828. Etna: "If they're up to moving. They might not be, yet."
  829. Grace Leonhardt: "The worst that happened is that we had to deal with cutefly bandits. That went as well for them as their name implies."
  830. Reshiram: "Well, I won't go anywhere. So, take your time. I'd rather everyone get here in one piece."
  831. * Etna nods. And will go to get the supplies, since she has the best carrying capacity to carry stuff around. And is tall enough to manage things.
  832. Narrator: Give me a Perception (Search) test.
  833. Etna: 6+5+3+1=15
  834. * Pierce Mars Oswell will follow Etna to carry things if necessary.
  835. Grace Leonhardt: "You said that you'd like to help with kids but you'd like to stay here? If we run across any other children, should we send them this way too?"
  836. Actinidia: 3+5+6+1=15
  837. Actinidia: Actinidia looks in the small spaces, while Etna searches the larger rooms?
  838. Avara: probably a good idea.
  839. Reshiram: "You can if you like but I won't be inviting everyone into my house. They're free to use the other houses but then I can't always protect them either."
  840. Narrator: Etna is able to find the magazines (three different volumes) as well as only a slightly dirty hamper of boys clothing.
  841. Grace Leonhardt: "Thats... fair."
  842. Avara: that'll have to do for the time being, in terms of clothes and books. still need any toiletry-type stuff we can find, food, and the drinks.
  843. Narrator: Actinidia on the other hand is able to find finer items, such as toothpaste, toothbrush, combs, floss, and other various necessities.
  844. Avara: tea and kool-aid, if memory serves.
  845. Pierce Mars Oswell: oh right, I can look too!
  846. Pierce Mars Oswell: 5+4+5+3=17
  847. Avara: excellent
  848. Narrator: You stunted DNA.
  849. DNA: Speedy Search stunt, the other 3 SP I don't think I can really use
  850. Actinidia: Actinida gathers these things and puts them in a trash bag. Bringing a box of trash bags along as well.
  851. Avara: you could've used Resources At Hand instead, for a superior-eier search.
  852. Grace Leonhardt: Grace wil try to help out as well.
  853. Avara: i think. maybe. dunno.
  854. Grace Leonhardt: 4+4+5+0=13
  855. Narrator: Mars speedily combs through the basement of the house and finds perishables in a cooler. It's still cooled with dry ice and thus the perishables (meats, milk, eggs, etc.) are still fresh and good.
  856. DNA: Maaaaaaaaybe, but that'd involve using a different focus, and I don't know how that would have helped in this particular instance.
  857. DNA: Still, I did consider that.
  858. Narrator: Grace, however, does the obvious. And walks into the kitchen. While most of the things were speedily grabbed, a box of 23 fl oz cans of Arizona and boxes of rice, pasta and oatmeal were still around.
  859. Etna: "Books, clothes, hygiene stuff, food, drinks... did we miss anything?"
  860. Pierce Mars Oswell: "I found a cooler!"
  861. Etna: "Excellent. Looks like it'll stay cold, too."
  862. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...so no, I don't think so..."
  863. Grace Leonhardt: "I found some drings, rice, pasta, and oatmeal! Wait... Uh... guys? We're going to try and bring the Rices back right? Is there a need to loot...?"
  864. Etna: "They might not want to walk the streets immediately. Better safe than sorry."
  865. Grace Leonhardt: "That's... once again a fair point."
  866. Actinidia: Actinidia finds a box ful of strange gems medicines.
  867. * Etna has over 150 pounds of free carry weight before hitting penalties, so she'll carry however much can be carried once it's all bundled up.
  868. Actinidia: "The perishables should be left here. Those will be hard to carry and harder to keep fresh. Even if they don't help the Rice family, they will help someone who moves here. The dry food lasts longer on the road."
  869. * Pierce Mars Oswell also has 150 pounds of carry weight.
  870. Grace Leonhardt: "Rice, oatmeal, pasta should be good to take. Maybe leave the arizona for now, oh wait, Arizona's the tea they want isn't it? Well... won't hurt to carry."
  871. Grace Leonhardt: 100 200 max
  872. Etna: "Right, they wanted the tea and kool-aid."
  873. Pierce Mars Oswell: "This cooler should work for perishables; the food that's in here now has stayed pretty cool."
  874. Etna: "Get it all set up and we'll be able to haul it."
  875. Pierce Mars Oswell: "If necessary, you can put the cold drinks on top of the perishables, for insulation."
  876. DNA: Yah, pack mule!
  877. Avara: still objecting to bringing the perishables? narrator said they're staying cooled with dry ice. and them spoiling here or there won't make any difference.
  878. Grace Leonhardt: No ojbections here.
  879. Narrator: Well, we can sort this out later. :P We'll put you guys back on the road next week with the desired loadout. It's 5 of midnight here and I'm already fading.
  880. Avara: sounds like a plan
  881. Avara: *hugs*
  882. DNA: Is good. Now, the payout?
  883. Narrator: XP is +500
  884. Avara: yatta!
  885. Pierce Mars Oswell: Pierce Mars Oswell is gains 500 experience points.
  886. Etna: Etna is gains 500 experience points.
  887. Grace Leonhardt: Grace Leonhardt is gains 500 experience points.
  888. Actinidia: Actinidia is gains 500 experience points.
  889. Narrator: Alright then. Saving campaign and log~
  890. Avara is disconnected.
  891. Grace Leonhardt is disconnected.
  892. Actinidia is disconnected.
