<Antioch|GM> His eyes are still trying to cope with the sensory overload, but he’s able  to pick out a couple of capes in the lounge-like room. One, a woman in a regal variation of DJ attire, another, a man with a clean-cut tailored suit, subdivided vertically into a white and black half.
<Antioch|GM> He also sees another woman in a light-up LED-strip bodysuit, giving off a decidedly Tron-like effect, and a Tinker in a battered suit of body armor, decorated with several glowing panels (a few of which are cracked).
<Antioch|GM> He can’t immediately spot any more, and those four are easily the most visually striking, but the good news is he recognizes each of them, in part due to his research.
<Antioch|GM> Mistress of Ceremonies, the emcee boss, The Boolean Man, a Thinker-for-hire (and Number Man wannabe, apparently), Limelight, emcee’s versatile photokinetic shaker, and Airmaxx, a gravity-themed Tinker who’s down on his luck, having taken his licks from the Dyson Street Drips and failed a job for the Babylon Block. Are they calling themselves the Dyson Street Kings now? Way too many friggin’ royal-type names in town

<Antioch|GM> “Yo,” the LED-clad woman greets, gracing Gauss with a desultory wave. “Don’t think I know your face. You new here?” ||

<tubes|Gauss> Hmmm...He didn't want to poach anyone...Mercenaries made him more suspicious than villains honestly...
<tubes|Gauss> Gauss decides to approach Airmaxx. Maybe he could be convinced to turn over a new leaf, seeing how crime hasn't been paying. Plus it'd be someone who could use the gigantic machine shop they've got. ||
<Antioch|GM> “‘sup,” Airmaxx says, a hint of suspicion in his tone. “Do I know you?” ||
<tubes|Gauss> "Nope." Gauss proffers a handshake. "Gauss. Just started this week. This seemed like as good a place as any to meet other capes." ||
<Antioch|GM> “Guess it depends on what kinda capes you wanna meet,” Airmaxx replies, shrugging. “Whatcha lookin’ for?” ||
<tubes|Gauss> Gauss lets his hand drop. Hmmm. Not a great start. Well, no reason to waffle on it. "Potential teammates." He glances up and down Airmaxx's armor. It had seen better days. ||
