Timothy - ZFS Horror

Hello,

Having just watched your latest show, Ep. 176, and your request for any
ZFS horror stories I thought I would write in.

I recently acquired a Dell laptop and installed FreeBSD on a ZFS root
partition using the provided installer. Everything appeared fine. Could
access the post install filesystem fine. Sadly on booting the machine I
received an error reporting no ZFS pools (see attached photos).

I was unable to progress further and had to fall back to using UFS for
the machine. After the UFS boots I am then able to access ZFS
devices/partitions.

Sadly that is my only ever issue I have had with ZFS and have many other
laptops (mainly recycled) floating around that run it without issue.
