Tecoixinaotl

Behold the mighty Tecoixinaotl and tremble at their presence, for the brutal and savage lizards rarely bring good tidings. Respected for their great martial ability, legendary organization, and strict, unbending society, the Tecoixinaotl only fear two things - the Gods, and their priests. Driven forward by an unrelenting desire to appease the heavens and their mortal representatives in the royal family, the nobles, and the priesthood, the lizardmen raid and conquer, with the primary motivation of the capture of slaves. Where most captives of other civilizations can expect to be raped and tossed aside, the fate the lizardmen intend is far worse. Brought often to the capital of Eztlepoxiki, a slave will spend day and night doing backbreaking physical labor of harvesting and mining, only taken out from the death-driving work for rituals intended to draw the most blood in the most painful ways possible, conducted by terrifying, ritually scarred priests in golden-thread robes, and when their lifeblood fades, the only release is through sacrifice to the Gods. The Tecoixinaotl breed fast and conquer faster, and the furious cries of their scarred and armored warrior societies is enough to make grown men piss their pants.
