  1. Aubree Bennett was born in the area of Alta in 2001. Born to Bryan Bennett and Conchita Juarez she hails from Mexican-American ancestry. Whilst her father worked as a public servant under the city government, her mother cleaned houses for a little money on the side. On the weekends, Bryan would often take Conchita and his little girl, Aubree, out to the pier, to the skate park, or just a drive in his old 68 Blade. The vehicle was his prized possession and had completely rebuilt it from being a wreck in a junkyard about ten years earlier. The little Aubree, albeit young, already wanted to help her daddy out. She was just as proud of the Blade as her father was and helped him where she could.

  3. When old enough, Aubree had gone to school and was having a hard time. Bad grades were in her blood, or so it seemed. When tested by a school counselor it was discovered that she had a learning deficiency. She wasn't able to study as well from a book as she could from practical experience. It was clear she was never gonna be a doctor or a lawyer, which didn't really matter to her anyway, given that she wanted to be a mechanic.
  4. Finished primary and middle school with barely passing grades, and moved to East Vinewood High School. The school offered a mechanic class, which was where Aubree was mostly found when skipping her English or Spanish classes. She didn't have to leave school grounds to pass the time, she just had a hard time studying the languages because of the way it was given; textbook form. The practical elements of the automotive industry and its engineering were most important to her in the way that she felt like she could pour her thoughts into it and could often be found talking to herself in the process of doing so.

  6. Unfortunately, this also meant that the other students started noticing. She started catching further behind and her grades were dropping below the passing mark. Aubree spent more and more time in the garage as the walls started closing in on her. Halfway through her senior year of High School, mister Garrison, the automotive teacher at East Vinewood found Aubree. He noticed her crying in the shop whilst tinkering on an old Asbo. She tried getting the valve timing right but she was so caught up by emotion that even the simplest thing was impossible.
  7. She tried acting like a big girl but was overwhelmed when Garrison showed interest in her, subsequently sitting with her. He noticed her struggle and her pain in the learning deficiency, and she didn't want to skip those classes. It was the embarrassment of her college students that noticed she wasn't as good. They noticed she was falling behind yet didn't know how, or couldn't care less, to help her. Mister Garrison helped her study by studying with her whilst in the automotive shop. He didn't have much to teach her in that shop anyway, so they might as well focus on the topics she was falling behind at.
