So I started looking for it. Nothing on the kitchen, nothing on the rooms, nothing on the bathroom... nothing. I couldn't find her.
After 3 hours looking, I couldn't find her. Damnit, I said, and I went outside.
Told my partner I couldn't find anything and I would be spending the night.
The family spent the night at my place. My partner spent the night at a tent outside the house and I spent the night looking for the damned thing. At that point I was already calling it a bitch because I don't like spending the night away from my fiancee. She has trouble sleeping unless she's cuddling with me.
She had problems with night terror induced by a leech spirit before we started dating and even after I got rid of the leech she wouldn't sleep well alone, because she was afraid the leech might come back.
Around 4 in the morning and I was tired as hell I dropped in the couch, programmed my alarm to 6am and fell asleep.
Then I heard a cry. Someone was crying. I looked to the clock and saw I got like 15min of sleeping.
I couldn't decide if it was a young woman, or a boy. But it was indeed a high pitch crying.
I got up and started searching for the cry. Guess what? I couldn't find the source of the crying.
I started to call the thing son of a bitch and yelled "if you need help, why the fuck do you hide?! If ya need me, I will be on the couch".
And got back to the couch. It may sound retarded, but it indeed work many times. When dealing with a wandering spirit, the closer you get to a human approach to the situation, the more inclined the spirit will be to deal with you and actualy get help.
6am, no more crying. No visit from it either. I started another trip around the house. Nothing. Sleep. 9am, I started another round. Nothing.
12am, nothing. I went outside of the house to lunch with my partner.
He had a full night of sleep.
After lunch we went through the recordings of the night (we install infrared cameras to record images from inside the house while I'm inside).
For our surprise the crying was right in front of my eyes. The girl (it was a girl, twenty-ish years old) cried from the hallway and when I went to investigate she hid in the kitchen. When I stepped in the kitchen she slipped to the room by a side door before I could see her.
When I got back to sleep, she sat beside me in silence watching me.
Everytime I woke up, she crawled to the back of the couch and observed me.
