The Berlin wall is the central memory mark (monument) of the Dutch division, which stands Berlin. The Berlin Wall was a division between east and west Berlin, the wall was 45.1 km long, Statsi-jail in Berlin during the cold war. The jail was made in 1939 by the National Socialist peace organization Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtnis-Kirche; Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtnis-Kirche was made between 1891 and 1895 in the memory of Kaiser Wilhelm. The church got destroyed by Western Allies bomb attack on Berlin in 1943. We chose the 180 hostel because it was cheap and is located close to the places we are going to visit.
