Choosing the right interlocutor for the users to talk to is a very important. It is the very face of the experience and has a lot of impact on the enjoyment of the bot.

We decided to create a fictional, illustrated ‘collecting hero’. By designing a fictional character we were able to shape and mold this character to our liking, making sure it fits perfectly. We had also considered using a logo or photo as interlocutor, but this lead to confusion because users would also ask questions related to the supermarket or stock, while the bot only had information about stamp collecting.
